Mostly happy with it. Having to log in to save profiles is silly. Crosswind messes up bullet drop. Setting the wind direction to 90 and 270 degrees results in very different come up results that are much higher and lower than what they would be with a headwind or tailwind. They should be the same in both directions. I get around it by checking bullet drop assuming no wind, and then checking windage. Which is stupid if you are trying to line up a shot while hunting.

Installed it, tried to add a favourite, most of the fields are greyed out and non responsive. There is no guidance or instruction on what I was doing wrong or missing. Not intuitive. No I don't want to take the time to watch a darn video with dramatic sound effects that is just a marketing/ sell exercise. Moving on to something I can get to grips with intuitively in 5 min or less like any contemporary app should be. Uninstalled.

One of the easiest ballistic calculators out there and the fact that you can use either the information they give off of every one of their loads. Or put in the information of a competitor/hand load. Then based off of the load you can select any sort of variable in the very intuitive process they easily provide to get a well calculated point of impact is phenomenal. The fact that all of this is free makes it in my opinion the best tool a long range shooter could use.

Need to be able to add other bullets B.C. easier to 4dof option. It wants to change built in profiles on its own. Quite frustrating. This app is very easy and very accurate. Just need to be able to add non Hornady bullets easier.

This is one of the best and most professional ballistics calculators on mobile. My only suggestion for improvement is to get rid of the rolling selectors for things like range and wind, it is not the most efficient way to get to what you need. Minor issue for an otherwise impressive app.

once I got used to navigating, I just don't shoot serious without it. if your data is entered right. the solutions are as close as it gets. I love the wind dial. as the wind changes. you just move the arrow and the adjustment is immediate. great job Hornady!

The login is ridiculous. If you lose your login info it takes a miracle to get it to reset. Nevermind the fact that you purchase the load data information and cannot use it unless you have service and your login info. For a company that's calls them selves an "American" company, they sure seem to run a lot like China...

I enjoy everything hornady makes. This app included. It is concise, simple to use, and demystifies long range shooting. The ability to name and save loads for quick recall is convenient. Inputting hypothetical loads to see how they would perform is also a lot of fun. Highly recommend

Even figures in incline fom phone tilt, very easy to use. Bullet library is growing way to slowly and updates by syncing so you have to remember to. I dont have a meter to interface with it yet. However I saw a new Kestrel that seems to be made for this app. It had the logo on it anyways.

I have not used the app much yet, but it is working well. Data base could be bigger, but adjusting bullet coefficients compensates for that to a degree. No real problems so far.

So far the distances and calculations have been spot on. I am shooting a Ruger RPR with a Vortex PST ll mil scope in 308 shooting both 168gr. and 175gr Sierra match king bullets. This app has extensive bullet library and is very easy to change components and specs and save info of each of the loads you are using. Tried several different ballistic programs, and this one is much easier to use than any of them. Thanks Hornady for an excellent tool. Android version where many only Apple platform.

I love the app. There's no competition out there with this level of sophistication. Sure, it's good advertising for Hornady but they do in fact sell an outstanding product(s) and this app is a perfect complement to their match grade ammo and precision shooting reloading products.

This app is essentially unusable if you use any metric variables. The app does not allow you to switch between metric and standard without resetting all of the variables. HORNADY: note that some people use BOTH standard AND metric variables!!! However basically no one uses meters for velocity or mm for barrel twist! However some do prefer meters for distance and MRADS for come ups. PLEASE can you allow the user to select the variable unit type for each input!! Otherwise this app is unusable!

Wouldn't update to custom loads. Does not work for PISTOLS!!! I inserted the bullet type and weight, but the program stayed stuck on a 6.5 cartridge. Maybe if I paid for the free app., it would work better, but I don't recommend paying for anything that the demo version fails to do properly...Free my asterisk!!!

Absolutely fantastic. Bang on out to 1,100 yards (as far as my targets can go). Works best with Hornady bullets, obviously. The people saying it doesnt work or gives wrong data just dont know how to use a ballistic calculator. You have to learn how to use it, like any tool.

Looka good for the most part. Haven't had a chance to test it on the range yet. But from comparing this to reloading manuals it seems accurate. The bullet selection is massive and not just limited to one brand

watched hornadys video on how to. i have basically the same set up he did. i inputted all the data, logged a 1/4 moa group at 100. ranged out to 500 clicked up the recommended 8.54 moa and wacked the steel five times. no chrony was used so used box info which was hornadys 140 eld-m. it struck high about 1/2~3/8 moa. i will get back out with a chrony and a kestrel and get some exact data input. wind was zero to 1 mph tailwind. i actually got to see the effects of spin drift.

Excellent app. With the 4Dot truing for custom loads you can get absolutely accurate trajectory calculation. One improvement could be to get current local weather / tempurature and pressure from online sourse based on GPS locatiob rather than entering manually. Over all though rhis is a great app. Well done Hornady.

This was my first year hunting large game. I used this app to dial in my 30-06 with Hornady ammo. 1 shot I got myself an elk, and it hit exactly where I was aiming. I am a veteran so I did have shooting experience. Fundamentals of steady aim are always a must. But if you follow those fundamentals, and with an app like this, you can make some incredible shots.

The app worked great when using standard units but I switched to a mill scope and its completely off, I've checked the info with two other apps and the other two apps agree with eachother. This one is making me shoot 2.1 mills high at 1760 yards, yes my load info is checked and 100% correct

I love the functionality of this app. I do have one major issue: The correction for the shooting angle is too extreme. It doesn't match other programs or real data.
