HTC Mail

The people that like this app must have never used an email app before. It is so lacking as to be pointless. You can't sort, you can't flag, it only shows you one folder, it gives you notifications for messages you sent. The only thing it does well is conversation view. I love the Samsung client so much more on my tablet. It's too bad that this is so bad.

I've used this for years across a few generations of HTC One devices, it was great for Exchange support when others hadn't caught up yet. Reliable until the March-May 2018 bug that was fixed. Unfortunately this has stopped syncing my Office365 Exchange account since 1st Oct 2018. Which is annoying because now I'm trying to migrate to a new device, so Contacts which I have saved on the phone haven't been pushed to Exchange and I will have to recreate the additions/changes manually 😞

I cant send emails over a mobile data connection for weeks and noone seems to be able to help me. Phone carrier no help, ISP no help, device manufacturer no help. They all keep pointing the finger at each other. Its the out going email on mobile data connection. They get stuck in the outbox until i get on a wifi connection. Then they will send fine. But noone will admit this is the problem.

Simple, easy to use, you can put multiple email accounts on it for speed and convenience, and to top it all off it uses very little battery. All other email apps have either been uninstalled or disabled. It gets a full 5 stars from me!

I don't know what happened to my mail app, but it's not working. Before it was working (since purchase) then a few weeks ago it wouldn't open. I uninstalled and re installed twice, but that didn't fix it. So I uninstalled completely. I just tried to download the app after 3 weeks of not having the mail app and now it won't download at all! I'm so disappointed. So much so that I had to leave a comment and I never leave comments. I have an HTC 11. Is there any hope to having this fixed soon? Or if it's something I'm doing please provide me feedback. Thanks

I used this app for years but lately it won't send emails, putting them all in the outbox folder. No good to me if it doesn't work. I no longer use it, choosing to use Blue Mail instead, which is brilliant.

Pretty basic and it can't count. It counts unread mails and, I guess, everything else as well, twice. Proof is, 10 unread in Inbox folder and none unread in any other folder, thus should be 10 unread in 'All Messages' folder as well, but app shows 20. Derrr!🙁

Got a hardware update a few days ago and the Mail app now is not functioning. Can't open the app, can't uninstall in order to reinstall. I've cleared cache, turned it off and on, don't know next steps, this is awful.

A fantastic email client. Connects and handles my Outlook and ATT mail accounts well. Good looking UI, easy to navigate, highly recommended.

I can't even log in now. Every single time I log in it just tells me it is wrong and takes me back to the log in screen. However, when I use my computer to log in, I can see the 20+ emails that say I logged in from my htc device

Hey HTC, people are buying iPhones because of email(I have heard from many).Please change your mail ui and do it look like and function like the one in IOS.For example, when we tap on the incoming email, sender's emails should be on left side and the content on the right side.

Keep updating the app but it still awful. A lot of time pictures do not display at all, it's annoying. Poor visuals too.

I have never had a problem with the app. I like having all of my email in one spot. I do wish there was an easy way to disable the individual accounts on a temporary basis so that I don't have to get work emails on vacation.

I used to use it often in extreme power saver mode.. Now I'm unsure if to use it or not when I don't need it due to outdated security prior to the of the update from mail ??

Don't you just love it when you have to install a third party app because the app you can't remove doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to do? Me neither. I haven't used this in so long I've forgotten the reason I'm not using it.

love the app however after updating to Android pie cannot save attachments to SD card only internal. memory even though setting set to removable.

I tried to change to another mail app on android but returned again and again to HTC mail app. This app is so simple and so great and so ..... Simple the best!

awesome app works great for HTC devices wish they could bring back HTC browser I absolutely hate chrome I actually had too download HTC browser from APK mirror because google decided too remove it it is my goto browser faster and less baggage and safer

Just spend 600+ USD on a new HTC phone, and discover that in 2020 we still cannot choose our EMAIL app by default by ourself !!! Forcing this UTC Mail app by default is an awful choice HTC.

It is great emailing app! I tried multiple app to get better alternative - as per my experience this is the best.

I don't understand why I delete emails from the inbox and they keep reappearing after a few minutes.

Dosent sync all emails, max limit is 3 days. Its basically useless.

Overall l am disappointed at all HTC apps and HTC's approach to its mobile phones of recent. 😱😞🤕

Why I can't disable this app? Already disabled other useless but this one... Wish it would be possible to uninstall it.

Overall this is a great app on it really needs is a dark theme and swipe action to delete

the Htc u play. very weak battery. cant even go half a day. i do not recommend it at all

I don't want this useless app. But it has sticked to my phone and i can't even disable it.
