The most amazing, complete and in depth medical atlas you will ever find. The illustrations are beautifully detailed. The UI is intuitively designed. I am not in the medical field but fascinated with anatomy. I could spend hours on one limb and not be bored. I recommend this app for anyone remotely interested in anatomy, no matter what level of medical knowledge you have.
Great but PLEASE add origins and insertions to the quizzes/quiz answers! I've been looking for an app which runs over O/I's in quizzes. It would be perfect if you could implement this so I don't have to go back and forth to double check I got them right. I love the 3D skeleton where you can see where exactly where everything attaches. Really great app, worth 89p for sure. Five stars.
Informative and very detailed graphics. I'd like to be able to zoom in on the text, even though i have it set to large, it's still a bit too small for old eyes. It would also be good if the navigation buttons were larger and their function be more obvious Not good enough reasons not to download the app though.
Great for looking into the body! Insertions, origins, functions. Can't see what you need, the body rotates, cut away what is blocking your view. This is the best way to learn about anatomy and physiology of the human body!
This is a stunningly detailed and intuitive body app that is well designed for tablets (including the PixelBook). The included muscle animations are a huge benefit for anyone studying muscles and their motions. A+ Edit: Over a year later and this app is still going strong. It has received excellent regular updates. I use it nearly every day.
Great app overall. I use it almost every day. One thing to improve may be the undo function, as the current setup is cumbersome when dissecting the models. As a neuroscientist, I would appreciate some more detail in the neuroanatomy (a dedicated neuro version would be great if the developers want another project).
Very comprehensive, and I love the videos that allow us to visualize how muscles contribute to limb movements. This app requires a tablet or landscape phone orientation. One thing I really want is the ability to rotate the model around the selected muscle/nerve/etc. or around its midline if nothing is selected. Since it's rotated about some off-screen point, I keep having to pan the model back on-screen after every rotation. Please fix, and I'll upgrade my review. Thanks!
I'm not a medical professional - yet for private reasons I find this app extremely useful to look up some information with explanations and, should you decide to purchase additional packages, with animations and extended information. I would definitely suggest this for medical students. But it's better viewed on either a tablet or external screen. I usually use my phone because it's handy, but the screen is rather small. Otherwise... Well, I did pay for it and didn't refund.
This is a great app. however, there is one annoying thing I feel though.. Please provide option to turn on/off the gesture control for fade and hide option.. because when i intend to pan the screen quickly (scrolling using two fingers), fade or hide gesture option gets activated.. since we pan the screen quite often and quickly fading/hiding of the selected body part as a result is quite irritating. I would like to turn this gesture control for hide/fade off.. please provide this option.
This app is so far so good. Only annoying thing that even if you buying the app it all time shows you a dedicated option to buy another apps or services from developers. Devs please remove this we already paid for the app and watching this is annoying a lot. For people like me who are perfectionist. There are locked contents also , very disturbing.app is good, a bit slow I may say. Overall good but my humble request to the devs to remove dedicated "store" option. U should put it at settings.
An excellent tool for learning anatomy and physiology, however, it is lacking one feature that would make it perfect. In AR view, you are unable to rotate the model into a prone or supine position, which would be extremely helpful for physical therapists (like myself) in visualising the muscular system of a patient.
Edit: It finally worked and it is so great! I Purchased the app But it didn't work at all, it opened and give me a blank white screen, I spend a whole 10 mins, thinking that it might be having some slow loading of it's content but it didn't, I want to give the app a 5 review star cause I saw what it can do, and augmentative reality does help me to give spatial area for imagining the human anatomy structures, hope that developer would respond and hoping for a respond thank you :(
This App has some serious & annoying flaws!! When in the app, there's no way to tap and find the main menu bar on your phone to EXIT the app! Yup, that's right- I've spent more time trying to get OUT of the darn app than using it. Unless this feature is fixed I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying this app! This version as compared to the 2019 Version no longer shows details on bones such as Fossa, Projections, Processes, Tubercles, Meatus and such. This regression is HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTING. Please fix!!!!
This app takes understanding anatomy to a different level. It's immensely useful for medical students and professionals alike. 3d modelling is stunningly accurate. The ability to visualize any structure in any plane desired helps for great anatomical orientation. All in all an immensely useful app which when used in conjunction with the textbooks will make u master of anatomy.Really wished this app was available during my student days. But never too late to learn.
1. Bought the app, yet still need pay in app for certain animations etc? What?? 2. UI is very uncomfortable. Searching, navigating to a region and navigating back and forth is totally broken - alot of times need to re-search stuff in order to just go back to it. 3. Explanations are sometimes too short.
You would think that after purchasing an app you would have full access. Nope! You have to spend extra money to watch videos. It would have been nice to know that the account does not transfer to different devices as well. I would have put it on my computer rather than my phone if I would have known. It is too hard to read and navigate on my small phone screen.
Very good app, as of oct 21 2020 it used up 656 MB of my cellular data to download the advanced animations. (Because I downloaded the app on WiFi, and then opened it without Wi-Fi when on the go.) Please make it so that a prompt appears to only download additional data only on WI-FI.) IT HAS BEEN 7 MONTHS SINCE MY REVIEW AND THE APP STILL EATS UP MY DATA EVERYTIME I OPEN THE APP. It doesn't prompt me if I want to re download all the extra content, it just does it automatically w/DATA or WIFI!
Tried several similar apps and this is, without a doubt, the most complete. It may be expensive but its of great value. But nothing is perfect... to have the full experience you must buy extra add-ons, which I pay willingly, but if you're short of cash, the main app is sufficient, buy them depending on your needs. Besides you need a powerful phone for it to run smoothly (Im running it on a galaxy s10). Congratulations to the developers for such a great app. A++, an instant favorite. Thx
REALLY DISAPPOINTED!! There are some important features missed from this app! Such as choosing multiple bones to see their parts.. also rotating the body or a part is missing a very important feature, that when i want to go around specific part, i drag finger starting from that part. In the app, this isn't available. Also the most important bad thing that textures of bones and muscles are so bad, many important grooves, fossi, projections and structures are missed or completely unclear!! +Rng inf
Genuinely an amazing app I bought it on sale and it was one of the best investments I've made. I am a first year Medi and use this app once a day for anatomy and even in some clinical situations. it is very close to a must in my opinion. would be better if it showed x-rays and CT images as well. Would also be nice if there was an on-line accessible one.
The app is great and is good to study a subject like Anatomy but I feel there are few limitations to the app when compared to its price and level of expectation. Mainly few points are absent, for example all bony landmarks are not illustrated upto maximum detail as given in the theory texts. Even all branches of nerves and blood vessels are not enumerated and important structures like fascia are not given. If these loop holes are addressed ASAP then app surely would deserve a 5 star.
This is the first time an App has impressed me enough to make me want to write a review. I'm a surgeon and every now and then I need a refresher. The beautifully displayed 3D-Models and the fluidity of the App make it an absolute joy.
I paid the extra 27 dollars, on top of the 25 additional 25 I paid and I didn't get anything extra. You cannot use the search button for bones, pretty much none of them actually come up. Not a complete list of bones by any means. I want at least my 27 dollars back. I thought with the extra money I could see more and that's why the program wasn't good, but nope. Such a disappointment .
This app has been very helpful with my grad school studies... UNTIL the search function stopped working. I reached out to customer service already and they were able to "reproduce the bug" but it hasn't been fixed yet. Yes I've tried reinstalling/deleting cache, etcetc.
Great app for artists studying anatomy. Provides details on origin and insertion, including flexion, abduction, and extension. It uses academic terms which is great if you want to get into teaching like me. I wish they had an app for bovines, birds, horses, and reptiles. This app deserves an exceptional review!
Paid for the app but doesn't work on my Note 10+. Closes immediately on launch. Seems to be affecting other note users. Instead of emailing the support team, perhaps you could reply to this message with the workaround instructions (assuming it can be worked around). Will update to 5 stars once addressed. Cheers
The app is good, and it really helps a lot. However, it needs to have correct information! Some of muscle actions on the app are wrong or not listed. For example, only the bicep femoris long head is shown to do hip extension. Um what about the other hamstring muscles? The developers need to stop being lazy and input all the correct information or else it's just a waste of money.
