HVAC Check & Charge

Great resource. A little cumbersome to use sometimes, because looking up recommended superheat requires entering system values too. When ambient values change, you have to reenter all the parameters. A little annoying, but still workable. Overall the app is very helpful. Edit: used it again on my R22 system. Airflow is another great feature. You can really tune up the whole system with this app. Raising my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Hard to find this data elsewhere. Thanks a lot developers.

I absolutely love this software, it is extremely extremely easy to use and I tell technicians and installers to download it so we don't have to worry about referencing a charge chart for superheat. I also LOVE that the interface changes the range and available number of temperature options and just doesn'taleays have the same values.. (i.e. if you select 50 degree indoor wetbulb, it only gives you 2 options for outdoor dry bulb 55 and 60 degrees) AND says to not charge at low temps, etc. LOVE IT

I have used this app for four years and by far, it is the best, and simplest way to "check & charge"😁 your system. I refer this app to all young techs. This is a must have along side your gauges.

This is the best subcool and superheat app available. The slides are very simple and straight forward. The only thing that would make it better would be to be able to adjust PSIG by increments of 5 rather than 10.

Great tool to have as an additional fail safe. I have been using it for a year and it helps when the ambient temperature isn't as warm as it should be. I use it in conjunction with my gauges and have not had one call for an over/under charge in a year with doing hundreds of startups.

Game changer. I'm a 2 year apprentice and had a very hard time understanding the basics of sh/sc. With this app I now not only understand it, but can see the science behind it in the field real time. Thank you devs.

This app is a pleasure to use as the most basic procedures needed for a useful diagnosis can be obtained quickly and without undue complications. It has saved me countless headaches and frustrations. Uncomplicated that is why I like it.

it works good with psig & F. but once changed to kPa & C at the setting, it is totally WRONG !! (updated review) yes, the issue was corrected, and it works perfact with kPa & C as well. thank you for quick response.

it is ok for an idiot that can't calculate superheat... a bar chart- add refrigerant till the blue bar gets to the dashed line, really is this what the industry has come to? This is fine for the newbie with a week of training but for this of us who know our stuff we want the result of the superheat slide rule, enter indoor wet bulb and outdoor dry bulb it should then give me my needed superheat. I just want the top half of the slide rule....

A perfect app! Works exactly how it should for filling the exact amount in an AC system. I've used over 10 times now without fail!

Info was not correct. The numbers were way off so I used measurequick to correct the charge and everything worked out great.

It's a great tool for properly dialing in any AC install, and much faster than using the old slide charts

Simple, easy and accurate to use. I use it to verify my findings with my analog gauges.

Makes life better. I'm still figuring out refrigeration and how to get the correct charge. But even if you know all that stuff this is a great reference tool.

I enjoy the app because my phone is one tool i always have on me. I tend to misplace my chart for r-22 but this app is always in my pocket so it's very convenient.

Ok, i been doing HVAC/R FOR 26 years. All you need is to learn the pressure temperature chart. Always add 20 degrees to your ambiant tempure chart. Plus remember to take the temp around the unit. It can differ from the temperature of the day. Take into account if it's under shade or out in the open with the sun beaming on it. Plus you could check the running amps of the compressor. Or check your subcooling if it has expansion valve. Or if it has a fixed orifice then you go buy the superheat.

works but it limits the temp. you cant have the right settings and causes problems. need to let us enter what we are seeing to actually help us

Charged R22 units 20 years ago. Did a M099 change over with txv and was lost! Found app and it was just what I needed. Gonna tell my HVAC buddies about it. Thanks for being there for me.

charge money for different refrigerants when I literally can download an entire pdf with every P/T for every refrigerant for free. you guys barely make good products and you make a cash grab app to compliment the sh*** engineering/manufacturing. jfc guys

I use it for adjusting refrigerant charge on any system with a piston and it always comes out running properly. 👍
