The ICD is maintained by the World Health Organization (WHO), the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations System. The ICD is designed as a health care classification system, providing a system of diagnostic codes for classifying diseases, including nuanced classifications of a wide variety of signs, symptoms, abnormal findings, complaints, social circumstances, and external causes of injury or disease. This system is designed to map health conditions to corresponding generic categories together with specific variations, assigning for these a designated code, up to six characters long. Thus, major categories are designed to include a set of similar diseases.
The ICD is published by the WHO and used worldwide for morbidity and mortality statistics, reimbursement systems, and automated decision support in health care. This system is designed to promote international comparability in the collection, processing, classification, and presentation of these statistics. Like the analogous Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (which is limited to psychiatric disorders), the ICD is a major project to statistically classify all health disorders, and provide diagnostic assistance. The ICD is a core statistically based classificatory diagnostic system for health care related issues of the WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC).

This app could have been good but the search function is for "exact match" search. When you search for "knee" and "pain", for example, you should get all results where "knee"and "pain" appears and not just where they appear next to each other. Implement an AND search not an exact match or OR search.
USELESS..... Any app like this where search function requires an exact wording match to bring up potential diagnoses is worthless. That's the reason you have a search function x when you know key words but don't know the code.
Would give 5 stars if there are reasonable price for ad free version. Overall, this app is very helpful to do my work.

As a physician I find ICD10 codes laid out in this manner more helpful than many other of the available free apps (e.g., search engines based on key words only.) This app's layout offers both a list of the codes as well as a search feature.

Its very useful when u practice as a doc. But , if it have the whole description about the particular disease then it will become some how awesome or much more useful😄
We should be able to type the name of a condition/disease and it should anticipate or populate the text,as we,write. Difficult finding when typing

Very nice application containing all the codes in ICD 10, in a very simple, easy and time-saving way. Very nice search function. The only annoying thing is the pop up adds that appear every few clicks while using the app and some times with annoying sudden sounds.
