High quality and very responsive but no sustain pedal support! The best response when using an external keyboard , making it actually playable in real time with no lag , but not supporting even a basic sustain pedal is unforgivable and makes it immediately limited. Would have happily paid for the full app, but can't see the point until this is added .
From what I could tell from the free instrument, it's pretty good and latency is low. However, I bought the first expansion pack and none of the instruments will download. IK Multimedia, you need to fix this problem. It's not on the end of your customers, it's on your end. Asking people for screenshots is not the solution. Please fix this mess. Thanks.
Needs work to be useable. Considering buying the expansion packs but it cannot handle more then 2 notes played (using a midi controller) at the same time without crackling. The more notes you play at the same time, the more it crackles and distorts. Other then that, would be a 5star app, no doubt. Please fix. "Perfect piano" app does not have this problem.
Kinda bummed. I really want this app to work because I like the sounds. Two issues stand in my way. First, it doesn't recognize the sustain pedal. Second, on my Samsung Note 8, there is noticable clicking and popping, even with no other apps running.
Don't buy the Expansion pack especially if your an Android user. Keep your $9.99 because the downloads do not work. It worked the first time I purchased it two years ago. But the Android device I installed it in died. As long as you're installing the app you purchased on to the same platform, you have rights to the app. I asked for a refund but the rep asked for a receipt. From March 2020 which I no longer have.
This app produces excellent quality sounds, but every time I try to connect my USB midi keyboard the app crashes the first time I press a key. In addition there seems to be nowhere in settings to recognise or modify the keyboard. If it is possible to use any midi keyboard low latency then this would easily get five stars. Unfortunately these faults are deal breakers; I can't risk buying the full version. The last one was April 2nd and I'm currently having problems May 2020 PLEEEASE UPDATE!!!
Piano samples are really nice but actually I cannot do anything as there's no sustain pedal support. And everybody knows how important it is. That's a pity as I was thinking to buy the full version.
I purchased the in App upgrade. It doesn't work, just get -4 error msg. Very disappointed. I have email and msg'd ikmedia. No response!!! I want it fixed or a refund. Dissapointed at Google still allowing this faulty app to be on Play Store. Beware you only have a ridiculously short 48hrs to claim a refund. A very unfair purchase condition that needs to be changed. Time to step up Google and fix this!!!
I have got a Moto G6 Play (running Android 9) and this app totally ignores my Midi keyboard (Irig pro) :-( Have contacted support who suggested restarting phone. This doesn't work.. and neither does a factory reset. I have other piano apps working fine with it... however I like the sound of this one so I would like to get it working.
App not rendered properly on Oneplus 7 PRO. All graphics are huge and overlap, menu is huge also, there is nothing to understand from the app UI. And I was thinking to purchase the full version...Not anymore. Bad experience. Will change my feedback if app is fixed... Edit: wrote to support, got no response back -> Support Ticket #8352075
According to email from IK multimedia. This App "is no longer supported by them and has been removed from the app store". So why is it still here and allows for in-app purchases? I made an instrument pack purchase and could not download it. Emailed developer and was told the above. I requested a refund from Google, still waiting for it. The app seems to work just fine except for the fact you cannot download anything. I purchased the Irig keys 2 pro hoping to use with this app, but no support
Gorgeous piano sound, nonetheless the app is unusable due to the cracking and distortion sounds on Android. Guys, please fix this!! There must be a way... On ios the app runs smooth as it is supposed to be. On android, it's not usable for me.
Half-done version I use the iOS version as my go to piano (also use their iLectric). The Android version is missing 2 HUGE attributes. #1 No damper pedal support. No serious pianist can play this way. This stands between real and a toy, and honestly, there's enough of that out there already. #2 No MIDI configurability. You can use your MIDI keyboard to play, but if there's a way to set controls or channels, it's eluding me. It's a shame, really, as their iOS apps are so good.
This is the best sounding acoustic piano I found for Android, and works with my midi keyboard. There is one very major flaw: no support for damper pedal, and that is so important to piano playing. Please add this function, and this app will be worth a lot more than $10 to most users!
I have downloaded the Upgrade tto Full + Piano Expansion pack 2 worth Rs. 636 eah. Still not able to download any additional instruments. Even if those Icons have turned solid...only working sound is default piano sound the Logo is still on the iGrand iano FREE... Feeling cheated... for almost equivalent of USD 20... Wrote a mail to support... got only an auto answer Support team if you are reading this please help immediately
Okay, The problem was on my end, I do apologize for that .. my phone didn't recognize my midi correctly, but there's another major problem, that is how do u turn on sustain control without a sustain pedal available..? I mean you should be able to turn on sustain control in a app like hhis
Beautiful app and great sound but the sustain pedal does not work when using a midi piano. I don't know why they would not support a sustain pedal, specially since they wrote in their app "musicians first".
Installed and was impressed with the sound.. until I tried to use my sustain pedal. I see in the comments someone requested this since last July. To be a dedicated piano app with purchase options, this is a serious omission.
The sound is great, however the sustain pedal doesn't work. I'm planning to go for the full version whenever this issue gets fixed. Please fix it immediately
The app keeps messing with the permission settings to access my contact list, despite my disabling it. Am not sure how it manages to override the settings but this amounts to unauthorized access of my private data!!
DO NOT PURCHASE THE FULL VERSION!! App is not supported by devs so you cannot download the full version even though the app allows you to still purchase it as an in-app purchase. The developer is either shady, lazy, or both in this regard.
It keeps crashing, and sometimes, you need to restart the phone to make it work. Great app anyway, but needs some improvements.
Great above all piano apps. U don't need to buy a high price digital piano. U just need a Digital piano with tri- sensors. Thats all. I guess the sound quaility of a Bright pop piano ( Included in expension pack 2) beats the Casio AIR soud Source....
This app hasn't been upgraded since 2019 I paid for the app and now I am not able to use it...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... Obviously there are people taking care of the reviews but no one is trying to upgrade the app... This is sad, it was such a good app
Don't buy additional instrument packs! They can not be downloaded. Fortunately, I got a refund from Google. Otherwise, the basic piano is very good. Actually the best I found on Google Play.
Just takes your money and gives nothing in return..payed for the full version still doesn't let me download any sounds...it's like digital theft.
Why 2 stars? Because this app almost gad it all. Sound quality is beyond perfection. But I always get crackling sounds everytime I play the app along with my USB MIDI contoller. It ruins my playing mood, my songs, and the entire musical experience. Very bad. And for the record, I'm ain't using a cheap-ass phone. Sheesh. Hope you'd fix the issue.
