The image crop part doesn't work Often the search brings up results for everything but the person. If I crop it myself first, it just brings up advertising sites. When it does bring up photo of people results it is only in another language. You don't have a translation tool.
Although I like your app. I often wonder why the app. labels what the photo is of? Often it is wrong.. When I look for some quilts it marks them as rugs. If I change that..it goes into a regular search...not specific.
Does what I need it to do. Flawless Google image search using the website, and allows searching images shared from other apps rather than only having the option to dig for media manually.
I've used an app similar to this one to identify morel mushrooms during mushroom season, around a half a decade ago. Back then, image search apps weren't very widely known about, at least, not in my social circles. I think I've used audio search apps more than image search apps. I Don't believe they should be separate types of apps. Why not combine the features of sound search apps, such as Shazam, with image search apps, like image search for Google.
this would be an excellent app if it would search for the image only however when you do an image search it comes up with text that doesn't even with what's in the picture. I've tried several different baseball cards and it keeps coming up with complete opposite names in the search so I suggest getting rid of the bug that adds text to the search and just do a solo image search and it would be a great app.
needs LOTS work. Was trying to use it to identify type of lizard. took a picture of lizard and it brought up results for "squirrel". Then after taking my finger off the screen while scrolling thru the results just goes back to camera for search. very annoying. cant actually look at the results effectively.

Absolutely useless. When I tried to search screenshots of images, it couldn't even find the originals that I knew existed in several places. After using it 5 or 6 times it stopped working altogether.
The best image search for Google ever made imho. Immediately found what my downloaded pic was that I clicked upload on, on the app. I found out EVERYTHING about it. It was a pic fron the ncient times of the Roman empire. aand everything lse thawas alsoweird, ver fulfilng experience!
Don't know why the reviews are low, went to go looking for the painters of some painting I saw and it found them perfectly. It also helped me recognize an art thief and such. Easy to use and works pretty well, does the job.
Terrible this app is pointless you take a picture or upload a picture to search for information the results you get resemble nothing like what you search for. And 99.9% of the time you get no results found! A complete waste of memory.
Rubbish! Took a picture of an unusual looking caterpillar, wanted to find out what it was. Downloaded, agreed to permissions, etc, uploaded photo, only to be told IT WAS A CATERPILLER!!! I know that, I wanted to know what sort, genus, etc. Clicking on the "all" tab directed me to sites for Caterpiller plant machinery, diggers, etc. Waste of time.
It couldn't figure out what a monocular was. The app repeatedly thought it was an exhaust pipe. I tried different pics from different angles. It's still clueless. Just calling it like it is......
This app needs some serious work. I pointed at a hoodie and had image search find me some and it brought up throw rugs. So I tried again and it brought up earrings. So I tried shoes and it brought up lamps. So I'm not sure what you guys are doing here but you've designed a poor app. Uninstalling !!
Still doesn't find images that are even on the web. It gives you plenty of photos that aren't even close to what you uploaded.
Results not nearly as accurate as Sherlock Reverse Image. Surprised by ineffective product. Not worth your time. AVOID!
Didn't find 1 original source. Tried 6 different photos that I knew were the property of someone or someplace else & the app just gave me "similarities". Uninstalled!
Didn't work once on the dozen or so images I tried. Uninstalled quickly. Took a picture of a Brio Train Station and it came back with images of outside buildings. Took a picture of a plastic dinosaur toy and it came back with "plush" and images of stuffed bears.
I took a picture of an object & searched it 6 different times & none of the images were even close plus it has the lowest rating. Deleting now!
i was looking for a unique fork i found and all it would say is "plank". cuz i was takeing the pic on a wood table. i tred each way it offered. it never found anything. it says no other sizes of this image found.
I have been testing this app for a while about a year I think... , although the gui maybe need some makeup, but the functions are flawless. very good.
Excellent interface for Google Image Search. This app is an easy way to get an image from your device to Google Image Search. Those leaving poor reviews don't understand that the actual image search results come from Google, not the app. They should be leaving poor reviews for Google! Anyway, Google Image Search is a great tool when you're on a desktop computer, but fails miserably on smart phones. I am very grateful to the developer of this app for creating this free interface!
