Informer for Android Wear

The app is so close to 5 stars yet so far away. First off, I tried to set it so that it shows only WhatsApp notifications - but no matter what I do it ends up showing me SMS. I have it off in the second. Secondly, I don't understand why the icons look like they are from Android 2.3 - that is not a lengthy fix but the app looks so old and out of place. Lastly, the icon is not fully circular cuts out in my GW4

UPDATE: As pointed out to me by the developer, my issues with the Apps notification control can be worked around... when you go premium. It's completely fair to pay for using something somebody put a lot of effort in making but I simply think subscriptions are hideous and a never ending money trap. I would pay a fair price to "buy” this app, one payment if it was an option but it's not. I guess that's the new way, but I won't go for it, you subscribe, you pay forever. I'll up my review to a 4

I like the idea of this, but in practice it's a major power drain and half-finished. You can set custom tones for specific conversations, but not for specific apps or change the default tone. It also doesn't handle large app libraries well.

Remarkably useful. It's the only app I have found that reliably notifies me when phone is out of Bluetooth range. This has saved me leaving phone in other people's houses more times than I care to think. Ads are not too intrusive but I didn't like nag screen that appears on watch in non-premium version every time phone is switched on. It's effect was merely to put me off buying premium for a long time. But if I was only allowed one Wear OS app, it would be this one.

The app is a good addition to wear os. I found useful to have a history of the notifications and to been able to reply. However I found that there are some improvements. While testing with a Huawei P30 and a Ticwatch Pro 4G: * the notifications can sometimes be delayed and while they appear as standard in the notification panel in the watch, they might take some seconds or even minutes to come to the informer app. * sometimes the reply to an email will be sent and other times no. * the delete function on the watch sometimes takes multiple actions before deleting the notifications. This happen for all notification as well the single app notification * the UI should be redesigned to have similar buttons like the wear os ones, this will provide better integration. Also the buttons should have a status feedback if the CTA has been triggered successfully. * testing the premium feature of the WhatsApp call, it doesn't work if the watch is using the lte connectivity. It works only with the bluetooth if the watch is connected to the phone. I will have to wait before subscribing to the premium plan.

I am a IT professional that is very dependent on notifications. I use a custom watch face that embedd this app on the watch lock screen. Having the ability to relay notifications to the watch from all types of apps is seriously amazing!!! One request: it would be nice to have a notifications counter on the app icon, similar to the iPhone phone app icon.

Helpful app but personally would love it a lot more if: The option to silence/remove all other notifications to receive them as Informer notifications ONLY would be amazing. Not sure how realistic I am being here but I much prefer how notifications appear in Informer, disabling all manually is slow and I am unsure of what I should be disabling. Swiping left whilst reading a message to remove it from the history. Have some kind of image/gradient when no notifications are in the history.

The application it's useful when it's connected to the mobile phone, but the most of the time is disconnected even setting it up as the developer says. The application consumes a lot of battery. I'll cancel the 7 days test and I hope could work better in the future. I'll be aware of it. Hope to reinstall it soon.

It really gets the notifications right on time. I only have 2 suggestions on improving the experience 1 when the watch gets disconnected from phone should be faster I have like a minute of delay before receiving the notification. Anyway it have save my phone from getting lost a few times. And 2 I can see videos sent from Iphone on the watch but not Android to Android.

Voice notes sending as a link??got bought the gen 6 Michael kors access so Paid for premium as I always voice note and rather than being there for the recipient as a standard sms it's a link to a file download. Also can't video or receive images and the history on watch automatically deletes??more confusing. Easier to just use my phone which isn't always to hand

Just installed the free version yesterday for my TicWatch 4G/LTE. I thought it was supposed to support Message+ texting on the smartwatch. So far I get a name (that's good) but I was expecting a picture of the person originating the text. I've cked settings but so far am stumped. Any help will be appreciated. Notifications are working great - just wish there was a way to delete them without tapping the X for each one - is there a setting for that? Thanks for the help!

What a garbage app...installed, uninstalled, reinstalled...nothing ever showed up on my Samsung Series 4 but notices of when it was disconnected (read: went 10 feet away from my Fold 3!). Still don't know how to get WhatsApp notifications on my watch (yes I've enabled all of the notification toggles on stock software)... if anyone has any suggestions would love to hear.

This app is useful when it works but since you can't trust it to work 100% off the time it's almost useless. Yes, I game it all the permissions it needed and more, I even activated the notification on the screen so it's always on. Yet it crushes and overall doesn't work well. I paid for it, and now I'm removing it. I only wish it had any good alternative. BTW been using it with galaxy watch 4

This would be a great app if you could disable the default notifications so you don't get dual notifications. Developer contacted me and showed me how to fix my problem this is a great app. Can you please shorten the time between the display activation and the message? If the time was 50% quicker that would be perfect. Thanks. I did subscribe to a monthly .99 cent charge.

A great app to complement my GW4. I don't get why people are complaining about an app that works very well even in Free subscription. They took the effort to develop this and I will recommend it to anyone who has a Galaxy watch 4 and a Samsung or other Android phones. If there was a 6 star I'll put that too.

Installed this app today to get Verizon Message+ texts to my watch. Paid for premium so I could add that app to the listener. So far it seems great with just a few issues: 1. I believe that when someone sends a picture with no text to a group text there is no notice to the watch. Texts with actual words work fine. 5/21 update - fixed by the developer! Great support!

Garbage super buggy, dark mode do not work, if I pick a vibration i see two selectors active with default always active, if I open the app it launches me on the app section and going back is a constant back until he let me out. Pure garbage app. Do not lose time get rid of it, find an alternative

Best app ever, would have gave it a 5 star if I could change the typing keys input to single letters input instead of multi keys layout. Very hard to text back. Other then that I love the app it helps my watch to do what I need it to do (galaxy watch 4)

I get pop-ups trying to get me to buy the premium version multiple times in a row and it keeps freezing. It does display WhatsApp notifications on my watch as advertised, though.

my problem with this app is different from other users, some may find it useful and some may not, for me it's good, but the real problem is the app looks OUTDATED sorry to say this but it looks nothing like an Android app in 2021, you should apply some Google guidelines when designing the app, I can't get over how bad it looks. until some major redesign i should stick with the native notification on my Samsung Watch 4.

For 6 USD a year not worth it. Premium allows WhatsApp call but it just vibrates one and rings twice on the watch. I need persistence if I'm sleeping. Doesn't work with line lite and have not tested with signal, but probably would be the same. For this I'd rather sleep with my phone to my ear.

WhatsApp voice messages in groups are not getting notified on watch for which is why I bought this app(Using oppo watch 46mm with OP 7 Pro). Need refund EDIT: Is this a known issue? I'm guessing yes because the developer is asking me to cancel the subscription. And when clicking 'Cancel Subscription', the resulting page doesn't have an option to cancel(and refund first month's fees) and just says my subscription ends next month.

Awesome app, incredible how options you can handle with this app. I had a misconfiguration in my phone so I have contacted the support department and they were very responsive. They helped me to solve my problem. I just bough another one for my wife as well. we're very happy!

Great app, the developer really takes care of his users. I licensed a lifetime version of Informer for WearOS and encountered some issues receiving notifications. The developer was quick to respond and took great care to send me new nightly builds and to troubleshoot until my issue was resolved. Thank you Alexey! Great app and I hope more people download this great app!

at first I was quite dissatisfied. sometimes I was getting notifications and sometimes not. then I realized that the problem is because when I kill background apps to clear memory, the app does not stays in the background as it should and this stops the notifications. so I entered the app permission and added auto-restart permission and now it works perfectly. I would give it five stars, but I dont, because this action should be done automatically by the app
