oh man, where do I even begin... This has got to be one of the smoothest encounter generators I've ever used. What I like most would be the abimity to create groups of monsters or heroes and be able to drop them in and how fast and smooth everything is. Often I find that these apps can be slow and complex, not this one! It keeps the game moving at the right pace and is really easy to manage. You're a life saver, 5 stars!

Imagine rolling initiative and then having to check every player and monster, and arranging them on a piece of paper. It's hard. And D&D is only supposed to be hard in game, not in arranging combat. So this tool is just very efficient, and it's very worth it to pay for the upgrade, I finally don't have to keep asking players, "what's your initiative again??"

It seemed useless and unintuitive at first, but once I figure out how to use it correctly, it was super awesome. It was useful, streamlined combat encounters, and even made it that if I was prepared, could have the turn order ready, before the party even walked in the room. I would recommend this for every DM. Only suggestion is maybe include a tutorial on how it works.

It took me a little bit to figure out how everything works, a more clear tutorial would be nice, and being able to view it again. This saves me TONS of time. My favorite feature dropping things into combat. it makes it very very easy to roll initiative, as well as roll it ahead of time! The feature to mark Conditions is INCREADIBLY useful. 5/5 stars, AMAZING. I noticed that a few monsters were missing. Also, adding +10/-10 hp would be nice. Additionally, it is difficult to view a monsters stats.

Haven't used it in a live session quite yet, but I dont need to in order to know that I really like it so far! It addresses everything that's needed to run a combat, and I like the adjustments that can be made on the fly, like HP. One recommendation so far: on the difficulty/experience bar, could there be a simple equation put in to determine XP per player based on the party size? It would be a great quality of life update so us DMs could keep the calculator out of it a bit more. Awesome app!

I love this tracker. It works for 5e and 3.5. I just wish I could save multiple presets that didn't have such a convoluted way to access them. Also, creating new characters with the same name should automatically notate them with a number or letter in case I have a large swath of individual same type enemies. Other than that, does exactly what it says on the tin. And does it well.

Seems pretty good so far, though I have yet to test it in game. Controls are a little cumbersome and unintuitive, and the most convenient tool (adding monsters straight to the battle from the monster list) is locked behind a paywall. Also I'd like a way to differentiate manual and automatic initiative rolls from players and enemies/npcs, as I prefer to let my players roll their own initiatives. I'd also like a way to store battles, so I can prep the initiatives for a whole session ahead of time.

All I want is an uncomplicated initiative tracker that allows me to put my party stats in and save them. Then add monster easily on the fly. But most importantly when running initiative I need to be able to do the things that happen in game, like hold action, easily. No one does this. Why? I also can't just search the monster data base and click add to initiate tracker. So, unworkable for paper games.

Enjoying it so far, but I wish it would allow me to keep the initiative in the order that I put them in. If 2 creatures have the same initiative, it defaults to alphabetical order even after I manually slide the one I want to go first. It always goes back to alphabetical order. Also when having a group of enemies I noticed when I go back into the enemy "tab" it adds a 2 to the number of enemies in the group, eg start with 6 go back in it then says 62 enemies then 622 if I go in again.

One of the best initiative trackers and easily the most aesthetic. I'd give it 5 stars but for a few annoyances: 1) Tapping the initiative number for conditions is way more frustrating than it should be. 2) The tap to the edit screen is too easy to do accidentally and not needed on the fly. 3) Monster stats should be a tap. Don't love the statblock segmenting either; looks nice, but it's slower/jerkier to flip than to scroll. 4) Wishlist: Temp HP spot, auto rolled monster HP option.

I've had an awesome experience with this app. it's beautiful and well put together. detailed, yet concise information on monsters, initiative tracker, and the generators are excellent. also, when i have a question or a problem, the maker has been exceptional with his response. furthermore, i just realized I've yet to see an ad on this free app. nothing but good, for this organization; i appreciate what you do. p.s. if the maker reads this, I'll pay for a premium edition of you add whatever.

It's not half bad, does what it says on the tin, let's you set up multiple characters and pull them through pretty quick, and update things on the fly. There are limits on the free version as to how many parties you can have pre-saved but no problems so far. One of the best free ones (and no annoying adds)

This is really cool, adding enemies on the fly, treasures, initiative tracker. You can save your party, or your enemies, for later use. While in initiative, you can go look at the monster stats and actions. As a druid, I have animals with me, which I can put into initiate. Very cool. However, since they aren't Enemies, I can't go look at their combat actions truth the app. I have to change them back to Enemies to use the monster manual, then back to Heroes to save the party again.

Very helpful, but room to improve. Chief issue I see is that there are a number of monsters missing. I find myself having to periodically copy over stat blocks from more complete bestiary apps and load them as a custom creature. Also, it seems that no more than three custom creatures are supported at any given time. It will overwrite the last entry if you try to make more. This makes it hard to plan a boss stat block too far in advance while introducing variety to other encounters.

I have this app, on both my phone, and Chromebook, and it has become an invaluable tool in my DM arsenal. It makes encounters, and xp rewards easy peasy. The only desire I have is for the option to roll Initiative for a single group of Enemies. For instance if I'm running an Orog, Orc Chief, and 4 Orcs, I'd like the four orcs to all use the same initiative number instantly, but rolling it manually isn't a huge deal, and so it still gets 5 stars from me!

A must-have in my opinion for any party larger than 4 PCs, I have saved soooo much prep time and even more play time by having this with me. Thank you devs!! 4-stars only because I don't see a way to save an battle encounter mid-fight and it's not clear if the apps keeps it saved forever until you reset. Changing to 5 once this is addressed Edit: change to 5, thank you devs!

This app is fantastic, easy to add heroes, enemies, and others. You can be as specific or generic as you want. Also has built in health counters and AC at a glance. As a DM, I don't run an encounter with having this on hand and ready to go!

Ric. E. Nov 30, 2019

at first it seemed great, took a little getting use to but im trying to set up multiple accounters ahead of time and it wont let me put in the ac, hp or anything for the monsters in the second group. i dont know if its a pay for feature but if it is thats dumb. everytime i click where to input that information, it just opens up the basic initive information and wont let me do anything more than that. if i go back to the first group it works fine. but its becomming more troublesome than helpful.

The app is great, but there is still room for improvement. One kinda anouing thing is that there is no option for the app to add initiative bonus to the static value of it, or I just missed it. Anyway, great UI great in combination with the bestiary, although it could have more monsters. I bought the premium version and use this app at my table all the time.

A little confusing to get ahold of when first looking at it but its definitely a great tool to use especially as a first time DM. Maybe if the app did a walkthrough when you open it for the first time or a link to a youtube video where someone shows you all the bells and whistles and how the app really works. Just a thought!
