Horrible new version. This version is a waste of time and space. Wish I could go back to the old version. Can't view more than 2 minutes at a time, can't view in portrait view on my phone, have to close the app and restart every time you want to view a different camera, or go back to the app at any time. Drains battery much faster than previous version. Bring back the old version or update this to have the same capability the last one did!!

I started out using this app and I loved it. All of a sudden it stopped working. I could not log in. Called my alarm company and was told that I had to change to another app version. Had to pay them a service call to install on my system. The new version was a pain from the start. Then I was told that an update was available Hik Connect V4.3.1. So I downloaded that and have had nothing but problems. Will shut down and restart for no apparent reason. Slow to respond. Aggravating! Bad program!:(

Works reasonably well for me. Two issues 1) There is no full screen view in live or remote playback. You always have other stuff on the screen. You can enable full screen in the non "HD" app. 2) You cannot change the aspect ratio in remote playback. The video is always stretched to fit the device screen.

Getting worse and worse all the time. Keep getting error code 25452 on the cameras when you try to open them. Then you have to log off and on to get them to open. Then takes ages to move it to where you want as it's erratic and spends more time spinning than moving to where you want. And the zoom isn't clear at all. In bad need of some updates.

Terrible, don't normally bother reviewing Apps, but this is utter rubbish. Ive used Hik Vision for a few years and found it to be excellent but have just got a new phone so had to down load new app but big mistake. Doesn't connect even when using WiFi, picture isn't clear I'm having to log in and out to try and connect. It's so bad I'm thinking of changing my DVR to use a totally different CCTV system. Would not recommend.

The app worked fine for about 10 months but then for seemingly no reason the CCTV cameras on this app stopped working, I waited 3 weeks to see if it would come good again, but no luck so I deleted it and re-installed it again, but I can't get it to work again and it only tries to load one camera but why (Hangzhou camera o1) as I'm in Australia instead of the 8 cameras on my system.

App worked great for years up until a few weeks ago now anytime I want to view my cameras I have to completly restart my phone. And go right into the app as the phone comes back up if I dont it will not work and when it does if I change screens from one camera to another the connection fails again and I have to repeat the process over. Was a great app now is junk from whatever update they did go back to the way it was.

Rubbish. Every time you try to open it the cameras are blank and you have to go through loads of menus to try and get them working again, then they stop working again! Absolutely useless app. The Apple version works fine so why can't the manufacturers make an Android version that works too?

Annoying that I can't (or can't figure out) how to remote playback a certain time frame. It automatically goes from midnight on your chosen day. And also cannot fast forward in playback mode 🙄. Although good that I can now access on mobile data which I couldn't on the non HD app.

Appalling App. Just will not connect my android phone with the hard drive. Can't see anything on my phone. Shocking Web development and it's clear they don't know what they are doing to constantly update the vision app making it worse each time. They need to read these comments and fix it properly for all regions and markets and support non Chinese hardware.

Completely a useless app, which I expected it to be a better version of the previous one. I wish they would replace and upgrade this asap. Like, it's hard to keep up with the system, especially that it requires more information and much more harder to use. In short, it is not useful and efficient. Please fix this, hoping for a new better version of this.

Needs huge updates....Its not possible to view my office and home cameras at a time. App logs out automatically & Always need to enter log in details even if I hadnt log out...fix this too..No updates since 2017... Seriously !! Almost 3 years.. switching everything to HD and yet nothing to improve the apps... When I had issue , I reinstalled the app but Device says " This app is for older version of Android "Its really hectic to use so old version and outdated app for such important work..

What were you smoking out there people? This app is unbelievable its just a nightmare! I spend more than 200$ on my 4 HD cameras and I can't even use this app to view them? I was able to view the video in HD in the same app but now I need to download this app just to get the HD quality? What kind of service is this?! Just bring back older version!!

Awful compared to before. Architecture team obviously inexperienced to necessary design requirements. Landscape viewing only, very laggy, and why am I seeing a "Hangzhou camera 01" in my stream library when obviously in Florida, USA only. I feel my privacy is compromised. I can't trust this app unfortunately.

I have been using this app for a number of years without a problem, however within the past month, the app keep asking you to login after the username and password is correctly entered . Please fix this issue asap hikvision. The SD version works, the HD version has this issue

Worst app . The live stream doesn't continue for more than 5 min or so. And on closing app with or without log out, no cameras are available in Devices section. I'll be forced to change the whole system if this isn't fixed.

App constantly starts working.on it's own in the background. Probably downloading data from phone. No reason for app to run in background especially if you haven't used it in weeks. Does it often and you have to force stop it.

It has got a worst update ever. The previous version was better. The stretch option cannot be disabled... And its worst way to see the playbacks. 16:9 is what resolution display we need. We've got 4 cameras fixed to this application. Now it's annoying to view.please fix it.

I am using this app since last more than a year. It's fantastic, absolutely uninterrupted service provided wifi is working fine. I use it on my mobile as well as laptop. Got a very satisfactory experience.

App seriously has some king of limitation .. everytime i open the app i have to switch to airplane mode and off it again so that this app could get good internet and the cameras can start ... Ps:- no problem with my internet ..other apps function well..

Feedback:- DVR should automatically sync time from internet rather than depending upon battery inside dvr, if there is any setting to do so then pls confirm otherwise consider this idea to implement. Why DVRs are not wifi enabled, it doesn't make sense.

Only seems to display in landscape view. Keeps losing settings. Not very intuitive, need to refer to YouTube examples to try to do most things.

It's very cool app because this app can have to security maintain in your home ,office, parking yard etc. And in this app if you can see the HD view and it also a very small MB we can download this app

Absolutely useless anywhere other than close to the nvr and connected to wifi,just wont open to view,even then you cant expand the imige or change to landscape, come on hikvision get it sorted the old app worked.

Have found this App works perfectly if careful attention is paid to the initial setting up of the DVR / NVR - It would be nice if total full screen were an option both in Playback and Live-view.

Worst app ever. Most of the time streaming fails (as cameras view is blank) with this app and resintalling the app solves the problem. This is clearly a software bug.

Terrible since getting new phone can't view my cameras. All I get are cameras in China! What the hell. Its not rocket science.

If it works properly for you, congratulations, you just got lucky. For me, live playback only works intermittently and with one or two cameras at best.

Very good. Works well with car android player ezonetronics. Landscape mode with menu configurations for wifi or mobile data setup. Highly recommended to connect to hikvision dvr like DS 7208HQHI-F1/N and similar. Excellent.
