It crashes constantly on my phone and there are too many irrelevant notifications, the app should refine what type of items the customer is interested in and only send advert notifications that they would be interested in and more likely to go on to the app and purchase more clothing rather than ignoring the daily notifications.
Application no longer working post latest update 09/03/2022. After opening the application, it will show the home screen for a millisecond, then start flashing between two black screens, effectively rendering the app unusable. Using a galaxy note 10+ with latest operating software last updated 22/02/2022. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted, basic stuff. The application breaking event still occurs.
I've installed, uninstalled, removed, shut down the phone numerous amounts of times and still won't let me log in. Error message says 'couldn't retrieve log in details at this time'. I logged in on the pc and my credentials haven't changed. Just another app with faults, where the customer experience is below standard.
Recently this App has been a pain. For days now I open the App and it just keeps flashing. Told to reinstall, still same issue and now lost all my wish list that I have built up over the past few months. They advertise discount codes that never apply to basket. You raise and they say the offer not on this item. So why does it advise enter this code to get a discount.
Fairly Straightforward Good to use. However for some reason the app doesn't offer the click & collect delivery option which is so odd. But does offer click & collect if you login online. Hope this gets fixed plus it would be good if all stores could offer click & collect. Barking used to and now its stopped for some unknown reason, as its convenient for me to use & customer service can't tell me why? Besides this the app is just okay. I don't use it as much as I used to due to these issues.
Seems I've found a bug where you don't allow permissions to files and media, why the app needs those is beyond me. You get a weird animation loop as the app launches and doesn't go past that... Given the app is a shopping app, you should be able to deny a non-shopping app essential permission and still be able to use the app's main functionality, no? Because of this the app is completely unusable, hence the one star.
App is buggy and won't load 99% of the time, very frustrated. Uninstaller and reinstalled multiple times not sure what's wrong with it. Did manage to cop a pair of AJ1s in a raffle before it stopped working for me so I can't be to mad but upsetting because I was hoping to cop more pairs in the future which doesn't look like it's going to happen for me
JD could really do a lot more to improve their app. It's sluggish and buffers even in today's seamless and buffer-free world of fiber optic broadband. Payment system freezes and crashes 2 out of 10 times on the app for me (desktop version is fine).
Very poor experience shopping with. I ordered a shoes from them and they said item packed and send. After 3-4 days, I got a message from them that the order cancelled because of out of stock. No refund yet. Teriible experience.
Erratic at best, sometimes payment takes a few times to go through, after several "payment failed" messages, discount codes can appear on the page of every item, but sometimes only work with selected items, items that are "in stock" sometimes become out of stock when adding to basket, ( especially sale items )...
I have lots of clothing and shoe apps on my phone and not one asked to access my photos or videos. Shopping apps don't need to so this concerned me. I tried making an account but kept getting an error message. Uninstalled.
It has been pretty poor today. Every time I added an item to the shopping basket and went back to shopping I had to re in-put what I was looking for. It eventually sorted itself after an hour or more. Totally frustrating
Easy to navigate. First time using the app and easy to navigate and add items. Would like to be able to refine search further by size.
I have never purchased anything on this app without an issue. Always allowing me to add items that are not in stock and not telling me until the end there's an issue. Very slow and clunky
app is very poor in receiving predictive text, also when paying as a guest if set up an account is selected it advised that an account already exists which doesn't and finally it inserts additional zeros in the eircode. worth a software upgrade
App is broken,......... having been a long time user of the app and purchased countless items it seems the app has finally died with it flashing between a JD icon and the home screen within seconds. Please fix this
It's ok at JD when they have what you want, but it's annoying when you order thing's they take the money and then send you an email saying the items are out of stock, that really gets my back up. They give a code to put in and it never works. But hey you can't have everything good I suppose.
I went backwards and forwards so many times. Only got the app because stock would go up and down and discount code would work and wouldn't. Painful online experience over days.
App itself is decent, and easy to use, problem i have with it, i was given 2 promo code's for using the app but neither one worked. Which is disappointing. Hence the reason I downgraded to only 2 stars.
Easy to search items and navigate the app but very difficult to complete a purchase, all too often there are technical issues.
Rubbish app. Had it a while back, search function never worked always got a message whenever I clicked on anything 'problem connecting to @&-#' so I uninstalled and left it. My son now wants some items off there so installed it again (this is months later now) and I am STILL getting the same error. I can't search anything and I can't view anything. Absolutely the worst shopping app ever!!
It's not the best, the sizing is given in general, and I know for sure that not all Nike jackets, for example, have the same dimensions. Same with shoes. I wanted to check the sizes for Armani shoes, and there is no description of it. Only the size numbers compared to other countries. Not helpful! Browsing wise it's okay, but without the necessary details, it's useless. I prefer going into the shop, where I can see the size dimensions exactly. The problem with the shop is they never have sizes.
I love shopping with JD and have used this app a lot over the years and continue to do so. But it's just so unbelievably buggy. And always has been, I was hoping it would be fixed by now. From constantly telling me I can't access my basket... To offering me a discount code but the code never loading on checkout etc. There's just been a lot. JD really need to sort this app out. I'm sick and tired of dealing with it still after all these years.
If I could I would give 0 star. One of the worse app ever. I've place an order for a pair of trainers on the 12th of March and they've replied me on the 16th saying that your order has been cancelled because the item is out of stock. In the first place why would you on the earth advertising something that is out of stock even if you did why would take the order and your system didn't recognised that this item has been out of stock. Never going to use this again ever.
App is pretty alright but the after-sales is terrible. Slow to update and ship out which in the end makes them lose your order and you have to keep asking about it. The reply that came is order gone wrong and they will expedite refunds. Again taking too long for that. Poor performance.
Nothing against the shop itself but this app is horrible. Trying to filter between items but the drop down is basically non existent, trying to choose an option and it just takes me to whatever link is behind the drop down. Then I add my items to the basket and it takes me 3 attempts for my discount code to work and then I around half an hour just trying to put my delivery details in but everytime the app just failed to connect. Eventually just gave up. Guess I'll just get it on asos instead...
When getting to the checkout, it kept telling me one of the items was out of stock but wouldn't tell me which one it was, spent hours removing each one to try and process order and still wouldn't work. Tried on my partners phone too. Went on website, instantly told me the item that was out of stock and managed to finally place order.
