Joe & Charlie - AA Big Book

It has great resources for recovery. However, it relies too much on ads (which they do let you know about up front). I chose to pay for the full version to avoid the ads. Also, it does not remember your place in the audio playback, which is a little disappointing. But it has the Big Book, the Joe and Charlie Workshop, lots of speaker shares and other resources that are good for recovery.

I love this app other than it crashing constantly when you try to resume playing from where you left off or when you attempt to go to another section of the app from the one you are on. Really needs improvements!! I paid so that I would not have to be disrupted by ads. Very disappointed...feel I wasted money.

this is a very good app to have and almost worthy of five stars ........ I even paid the premium lifetime price ........ HOWEVER ......... is there some kind of way to get a dark theme going because it's way way too bright to look at for a long time ....... after about five minutes my eyes hurt because it's background is just way too bright.... a study app needs to be able to looked at for long periods of time ... is there a way to search the entire book for particular words?

Great app. I paid for lifetime access and unfortunately changed phones and when I downloaded the app again found no where to sign in. So basically I have to pay again. Have contacted them several times with no response

Don't push me to rate an app I haven't experienced yet. Only one rate request is required. Not one pop-up after another. You can't tell whether the app and description match, because the pop-up rating box prohibits access to the experience. Major design flaw and disappointing, too, because it's supposed be a life saving recovery tool. Make it easier to access. Be a part of the solution.

I'm a huge fan of A.A. it having saved my life and all, and i love the Big Book that contains the program of action. I've attended loads of Big Book studies, and while all of them were good, nothing compares to a Joe and Charlie Big Book study!! Not only do I love the studies, but this app is so comprehensive that it allowed me to eliminate two other apps from my homescreen!! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort that went into this app!! I love it!!!!😁😁😁😁

Grear App! I wish I would have done this sooner. Joe and Charlie make it easy and enjoyable. If you want to stay sober or help someone get sober this is amazing. I thought I had a problem with access after purchasing the entire catalogue because the appwarance didn't change. After I tried the parts that said rhey were locked, they played. I love the content. Getting through the adds to the content almost makes it not worth it. The adds are what they are, but I cannot when they are done remove them to get to the content. I have to shut phone on and off multiple times to get past them. This is the Only app I have this problem with. But, thanks for what I do get out of it.

I love this app 4 making it so easy to understand alcoholism. What helped me the most was listening to the doctor's opinion. Once I knew what the problem was what was happening to my body and mind, I was excited to read the rest. I am three years 7 months alcohol-free because of the analyzing of the whole book in their own words experiences and truths of this Divinely written book.

The text does not match the recorded sound any more. Makes it very difficult to follow along and the "episodes" are out of order. Frustrating when trying to take newcomers through the steps.

Great range of recovery audio, readings and big book all in one. The only thing that's let's it down is it doesn't remember your playback. Somethimes the Audio randomly cuts out as the app seems to stop.

If there's an auto-play button to continue listening I haven't found it. Will driving it would be great to not have to press the next arrow. Otherwise, I've hopefully donated my upgrade fee to the cause and appreciate the app.

Same app under different name, having all stuff in one app made it worth getting rid of adds with one time payment. Because all speaker material is available elsewhere, lost a star. Still, nice way to access it all in one place.

I love Joe & Charlie! This is a great app. Helps the newbies (like myself) understand the big book and helps to put a personal touch to studying it. Everytime I listen I get something new from them. Awesome tool! Thanks, I wouldn't be this far in my recovery without my higher power and the program of AA.

I love listening to Joe and charlie. Their story sounds so much like mine and their explanations/suggestions are always non-intrusive, open-minded, and humble. They really helped break down some of the most difficult concepts from the literature. I am really glad somebody took the time to put this together and maintain it. Thank you for all that you do and thank you for your service.

Has ALOT of helpful tools that I use every day. I especially like the way Joe and Charlie went through the big book, with their no nonsense take on the content. I have 7 recovery apps and this is the one that I use every day.

The adds could really stall a study group. Which brings me to the point of an ad web site!!! None the less lots of variety and very very helpful topics. Thankyou thankyou thankyou.. ps: It was on my last phone and I did pay...

I really enjoy this app especially being able to read along as you listen to Joe and Charlie talk about the big book. It would be great if you could put they're sheets that they used in their conferences on the 4th step so that we could use as a sponsorship tool.

Storys are great. Speakers are informative yet still humorous. Helps me get through the big book and understand it while working. It's 3 stars because for some reason when I phone rotates it resets the spot of the talk I'm in and it is annoying when it does that

A MUST Have LOVE JOE AND CHARLIE...they can take you out of yourself and actually make you laugh they are my favorite go to for peace of mind. This app has definitely helped me understand the big book better. With the recorded readings i can better follow along with each chapter and have more of an image about the stories.

Definitely worth the extra few dollars to get the lifetime app. This app has EVERYTHING you could ever want for AA recovery! I've been using it for awhile and have not had any major issues work it ever. Thank you!!

Being that I have Macular Degeneration, I thoroughly enjoy listening to Joe and Charlie's masculine voices. Better yet, the contents being read. It helps,keeping me on the straight and narrow, healing passageway through my journey of RECOVERY during my lifetime. Thank you app developer, Google, &U2; for giving a-poots-butt for other's Sobriety enough to share your gifted talents. In all the while, under- standing that you have done your services to help stay sober and retain recovery yourself.

I listened to & read & reread Joe & Charlie's discussion on, the BB chapter: "We Agnostics" & pge 45 para 2 "...Well that's what this book is about. It's main object is to enable you to find a Power greater than yourself which will solve your problem." Not help me or enable me but a Power greater than myself to actually solve my problem. A spiritual awakening...I cried. Thank you developers of this app.

The seriously playful way these guys look at and describe the big book and alcoholism is amazing! I smile every time right before opening this app because it gives me peace and comfort that other people also find humor in everything. It's very refreshing. Thank you
