it works great, uses Wi-Fi. I wish it can also work with blue tooth. if YouTube button can be added on the panel would possibly make it more better remote. but still it does what it needs to. thank you. Great app
All of the reviews here are just complaints about no instructions and whatever, when the app works perfectly fine! You dont even need instructions! If your TV is compatible, and both your TV and mobile are on the same wifi network, then the second you open the app, it will instantly show your TV and all you have to do is tap on it, and it connects instantly! If that doesnt work, then make sure that you turn off mobile data as the app cant find your TV if youre using mobile data on your phone!
Took the code and make of my tv and this remote came up. I was sceptical at first as I've tried endless other remotes for my phone that have failed to work.This one however is fantastic it does everything I need it to to except turn my tv on but that's not a problem . Would recommend this for any one who has a JVC tv as it works perfectly . Finally I found one that works .
Your TV must be on to connect. Bit of an issue if you can't get it on in the first place. App works fine only can't get onto Netflix with this remote.
Opened the app and there are no TVs available to choose from, i tried this a few times, tv off and on etc nothing. I have a JVC tv. Uninstall.
Works at first then starts to fail, says pick a tv , nothing comes up , refresh it still nothing , have deleted this app 4 times so far to try and get it to work but just left it now.
Edit: After fully disconnecting my tv and phone from my wifi (fully forget the network dont just turn it off) and reconnecting again at the same time it seems to find the tv and work properly.
OMG this is literally the best app like no cap it automatically does the imput stuff for you you only need WiFi on your TV and home im really grateful for this app and.. guess what? It even works better than my TV remote and even the new one we bought this app us soo good and it takes so little battery and if your on a Samsung like OMG JUST DONT PLS DONT GET NE STARTED THERE.
Well I downloaded the app. That's where the fun ended. It took me into settings. That's it. Thrilling. After 2 years I tried again. No change. Pathetic.
First was ok....after 1 month is not working. i dont know why..... i have android 8.1 now. Everytime i tried to connect to tv on wifi is not finding and i tried with the cable also, the tv is on internet on wifi and cable.
Useful to have this app on your phone because you are less likely to misplace your phone and you can just call your phone of you so lose it. Never lose your remote again with jvc smart remote Haha! Would definitely recommend, just keep connected to the internet and it will work
dont like the ui, but it connected instantly and works perfectly. my go to of peel did not work at all. very surprised how quickly this connected
Great working app that bypassed the remote bug/glitch as long as you have it connected to the same WiFi as your phone.
Great app and easy to use very handy if your tv remote control is on the blink r in way out etc and you are waiting on a brand new 1 from your tv providers etc &most if not all well ones in my home don't wrk without the correct tv remotecontrol so this jvc smart tv remotecontrol app is 100%exellent app I would recommend to any1 stuck wile waiting as I said above on tv remote
Beautiful interphase, just unfortunate that there are no instructions of how to use the App. can't seem to locate my Smart TV. Doesn't explain how to pair.
Doesn't work. It can't see the TV, and there are no settings in the TV menu or the manual stopping it.
Wouldn't connect to tv despite tv already being connected to with Google home app. (Wish that app could do more than adjust volume)
like most of the other reviewers, i was unable to connect to my TV with this application. I have a JVC SL47B-C, and the app never found it. Shame.
Jvc 65" 4k App that Works!! I've tried a few app and to cut it short just use this it work. My only niggle is the layout is so spaced out. But It work and so far I think it's ad free so thanks
I find it very useful app but in the voice comand menu is so poor you can add more comands for ex. turn on or youtube . I dont understand there is a voice comand for turn off but WHERE IS TURN ON? Please make some changes.
As someone else reviewed. It connected the first time. Next time it didn't connect anymore, can't find the TV.
No instructions AT ALL. And would not locate my TV. Chromecast finds it immediately, but this stupid app never does!
Except that we can't power on the tv (it has logic, because the tv has the network also turned off), the app is the best!
No ads at all great controls no delay input only problem Is u cant turn it on if the TVs off but apart from that 5 stars would use instead of my actual remote.
Fabulous. Actually works! My wonderful children lost the tv remote so this is our replacement until we get a new one. Good thing is that now only mum has control of the tv. 😉🤣
Worked in first attempt. Very good app. Allow the wifi to detect the TV automatically.
I can't even get past the page where where I'm meant to choose which TV to control. There's just nothing. It buffs and buffs and buffs till nothing
Worked well for a few hours, then started to respond slowly to the buttons I pressed. Now it is not working👍🏼.
Worked First Time Installed and working within 10 seconds. Simply clicked on my JVC LT-48C780 that appeared when it started up. Both mob and TV on the same wifi as a note. Controls are a bit awkward but you are up and running in a minute or so. Just flick up, down, left and right from the keys menu (bottom left) and you will find everything. Tricky to find source initially but all the keys work. Great app.
