It's ridiculous that Kaiser has you install 2 different apps, and half the time it still redirects you to a browser to do what you're trying to do. Of course, since they're all different, you have to log in each time, even if you're being redirected from one, to the other, to the other. How about some continuity to simplify things? I don't mind an app or doing things online, but this is ridiculous.
Absolutely love this app! Allows me to schedule appointments, change doctors and facilities, even prepare the prescribed medicine through the app while you're still waiting to be discharged. It's very convenient and saves you time for check-ins as well. There's a lot more to this app but I highly recommend it
This used to work great, but recently I've been having a lot of issues. I can't check-in for appointments (when I try to just takes me to a blank page that says "appointments" with nothing else), and I get an error and then blank screen when I try to do some pre appointment questions.
If I could get into the app the rating would be significantly higher. Used to use this app a good bit, but since the latest update I can't sign in, just get an ever spinning circle. From these reviews it seems KP expects users to find and report the bugs for them. Not good, but if that's the case why aren't the bugs being FIXED?? Absolutely no point in having an app that doesn't work. UPDATE: HAVE THIS APP ON ANOTHER PHONE AND IT OFFERS BIOMETRIC LOGIN RIGHT UNDER SIGN IN. AND IT WORKS! HMMM...
Comvenient but don't depend on it... It was occasionally buggy but useful. I can comment on the most recent update because I haven't been able to log on consistently since it was updated. When I can log in, the most useful features are "temporarily" unavailable. Very frustrating. One seldom uses a health care app for fun; when you need it, you NEED it and technical problems are not welcome
Works great for access to services, scheduling visits, reviewing medical records. Reasonably handy as the ID card. Express check in currently not working for me, takes me to a page blank except for a link to make a new appointment.
It was working fine.. I'm not sure if there was an update but I can no longer check-in for my appointments through the app. Which was a great feature, cause lines at Kaiser for check-in are never fun. The page just doesn't load at all.
The app crashes every time I try to enable fingerprint login, and frequently when I'm doing anything else. It also doesn't allow me to search for doctors as easily as the website, and loads messages slower.
Fairly easy to use, with a few areas needing improvement. Overall a great way to communicate with doctors, get quick lab reaults, schedule and review appointments and other specifics to my health care.
Fingerprint feature doesn't and won't ever work for several months even when I've already had my fingerprint on this and used successfully. They keep saying they will fix it and nothing is fixed. All it does is as soon as I press the fingerprint button and it's checked, it'll ask if I want to use the feature and then kick me out of the app so I have to keep signing in with no fingerprint being used and since you can't save a password with this stupid af app, it's a complete piece of $#&@...
Pretty worthless. Constant error messages whenever trying to use any of the functions of the app. I find myself going to the desk top site because I can't get anything done in the app.
I like having acess to all my Kaiser info in one go to place and acessable where ever I go. The only problem I've had is figuring out how to navigate, but perserverance has payed off. Still I havn't always been able to share medical documents easily through the app. Thete may have been other places I could send them grom but O didn't know where to go to to be able to have that option. However One way or another I did manage to do so, even if I had to take a picture of the document to share it.
Cannot complete check-in's. It takes forever to load and then it doesn't state questionnaire to complete the check in process. It used to work. And have emailed about 3-4 times and no response.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. Update doesn't work at ALL on my Samsung note 8. Forced me to update to a version that crashes when TRYING to logon. Now have to go to my PC, very inconvenient.
What is the point of the finger print reader login ID it disables after a week of not using the app? Either get rid of it or keep it enabled after setting it up. Same issue even after updates
Horrible app, I'm unable to pay my bill. The app doesn't do anything after you type in your payment it just keeps giving errors plus it doesn't load correctly the zip code shows up overlapping, cut off on top you can't even see what you type in the box. The site is just as useless so when you get a bill sent to collections you can thank kaiser for not fixing the payment section. Don't bother replying asking me to send an email to solve this issue because I already did and nothing has changed.
Always errors and loading failures. I can never check my upcoming appointments, never. Error loading every time. App is up to date phone is up to date. The app would be good if it worked. If I use my Chrome browser for the Kaiser website it works fine. Gaajillllion dollar medical empire and your app is trash smh
I really dislike this app. I can't check in , it's always glitches and the most important problem I have is when you took away the option to screenshot things I need to send to work. Like negative covid test or letter from my doctor taking me out of work for a day or 2 or my order doctor giving me a letter for fmla. I feel the app is going downhill in the last 3 years.
The functionality of this app is really poor. It either crashes, sits on loading, or says the feature you're trying to access is unavailable. This happens every single time I use the app. It is just a frustrating experience--use the web page and avoid the frustration.
Clunky. Seems like it was written by the lawyers more than the doctors. Certainly a lot of the communication is one way, one size fits all. For example, you get lectured to get a flu vaccine, but the app can not tell you when your last one was, nor can it point you quickly as to where to get it.
New to this app, it coughs up your medical info to Google per warning/disclaimer when you opt to receive and email of QR code vs. not being able to screenshot it due to "security" BS. How secure is this app if you can't backtrack to remove the option with your email addy vs. using my other phone to take a pic of what I can't screenshot? App is set on a timer to auto send!! No, I don't wanna use an app if I have to print from my laptop like it was an O'Reillys Auto discount coupon #SMH
The app used to work fine but since the update I can't use the biometric feature. It just crashes. Even though I can still login manually, by entering my password, this feature being broken is irritating. They need to fix this. * Update* So they fixed it. It stopped crashing and biometric sign in was working. But a few months ago it stopped working again. (though at least this time it isn't crashing)
