King of Avalon: Excalibur War

The game, pretty fun at first. but after a few years it's just really repetitive and boring. I've been stuck with the level 40 castle for I don't know how long with no chance of upgrading it. Those events that allow you a discount have gotten harder (I hate the new layout) I only get about 200/600 required. Also some of the things I liked about the game have been modified and ruined like dragon priests being so far away. annoying. one step forward two steps back, every update. Discouraged

I played a long time without spending actual money, but because of how slow I was progressing I decided to spend $$$ to see if it helped. Despite what they say, this is pretty much a pay to play game; you dont HAVE to spend money, but it's almost impossible to move forward after a certain point or stay safe from the mega spenders unless you spend $$$ or have 2+ accounts you can use to help your main account. It's a good game if you can spend the time &/or $$$ to keep moving forward.

Nees to Fix Bugs or Can't Advance New updates, some mandatory, introduce new features but also bugs. For example, When you can't get mire advanced armor because there's a new feature requiring you to aquire more of the previous armor resources you are stuck. The previous armor path locks you out and you are stuck. I've contacted customer service on the same bug seven times. I don't think they play the game or understand the bug . Your system is broken if you don't even know what the bugs are. No

The experience has been an awesome one. The tutorials has been very helpful.You will never get stuck in any level if you play way carefully and there is always room for a little break if you decide to play with that mode. It's not a stressful game if you strategize well enough.

When I start playing it was very fair and nice to play. Growing was very easy. Now they force you to spend real money to get stuffs. Some events are stupid and rewards very hard to get. It's changed in a bad way and I just keep playing for the relationship I build in game and friends I have there, not for the game...

Plenty to do and very fun, but there's WAY too much advertising for the in-game purchases and is not possible after a while to progress efficiently without paying for upgrades, resources etc. . I've been stuck trying to gather the materials to upgrade my base but keep getting raided, losing the resources I spend ages gathering. The only way I can defend myself from that is by constantly buying shields to defend my base. Resources gather too slowly and cost too much, on top of that issue.

(Solar player) This IS a spending game to win. You will get attacked constantly if you don't have literal thousands of dollars to spend to be powerful. It is rather repetitive in terms of events. Once the castle phase of the map is over, and you have done 2 or 3 Avalons and raids, everything is the same and it's boring. However, you meet some awesome people globally (and some terrible ones too). Fun to goof around socially but better not to invest if you don't love your kingdom.

I really like this game,but some parts are unfair. For 1 thing some castles from other alliances can steal your hard! I understand that it is competitive and everyone has worked for their materials of needs. Maybe the powers that be could maybe make a certain has to be ranked like 25 or bigger before he or she can be attacked. Because to be honest there are some things that we can't touch until we're a certain rank? So why not make it fair?? But this game is still my favorite it's challenging .

At one point this game was awsome. There was a good balance between non spenders and spenders. I was a spender. But over time too many updates and upgrades that require money changed the balance. You have to spend THOUSANDS of dollars just to be able to compete in the game. It is now a game of competing credit cards.

Only just started the game it is a good idea but I do find the game very small and difficult to see. Unable to expand and turn the tablet sides to increase field and size of vision. May be easier to play on a PC. Time will tell for other information. I will update in the future once I have learnt more of the game.

The game is complicated fpg. The tutorial is immensely helpful and very informative. There is no end of things to do. I played a similar game, but was constantly reduced to ashes and got tired of the rebuild costs in money and time. The alliance was great and I enjoyed the chats. I look forward to my first alliance.

Right now I can't access my main account, and that's really annoying. There's also way too many Kingdoms, and you guys need some sort of system for deleting inactive accounts and Alliances. At a certain level it's almost impossible to upgrade and anybody bigger than you wipes you out with no limits and way too many options to do so. I get it, it's a war game but it's just ridiculous. So many people don't even get the chance to start enjoying the actual game. Let me back into my account.

A really nice mixture of kingdom development strategy and hero collector. It would be really cool to see more heroes in time but even if we don't, I understand why: because of lore and gameplay limitations. For example heroes should be based on real-life historical legends and bonus types can only be so much.

The real game is nothing like the photos and videos advertised. Expect to spend a lot of money to be able to keep up with the Chinese alliances who buy resources from 3rd parties (nothing is done to stop it). Use a shield, cost of healing is HIGH. They mark bundles as "on sale" but don't change the price. I reported it, they did nothing. Private chat, is the same as mail. Messages disappear often when sent. The tutorial should be able to be skipped or give the option to sign in. Work is needed.

If I had to sum this game up in one word, it would be NEEDY. Holy hell, the UI is so cluttered, the tutorial doesn't let you stray for a second, and the quest has a constant pointing hand above it. Incredibly annoying and you can't change any of it.

Once you get past the initial shield for being a new player and join an alliance, you are forced to pay $$$ to keep a shield up to prevent a large opponent from wiping out your resources and your army after spending hours of gameplay to build up, which is frustrating and a waste. I can understand spending a few dollars to boost items and watching an ad now and then, but you have to spend hundreds of dollars at the least to be competitive enough to sustain your resources and army.

This game is a rip off and people get weird on it. It's addictive for some and very expensive, you could put your whole paycheck into this game and it wouldn't make a difference. There are some who have put the amount of a brand new vehicle into their "castles" which will end up useless if they don't continue to put hundreds or even thousands a month into it. Stay clear of this game

Event descriptions aren't clear enough, they forcing you to spend money... I've bought a few pack then something was missing, when I've contacted the customer service they wasn't helpful... This is a cool game but think about twice before you buy anything...

Originally I would have given this game 5 stars because it was genuinely brilliant. Now after almost 2 years it has just become the biggest money grab going. New content is just releasing new equipment every few weeks so people have to spend to stay relevant. Matchmaking is "random" but more often than not puts you with old strong kingdoms to try to make you rage spend. And don't even bother talking to customer service, even when they admit there was a glitch they won't compensate you properly!

Definitely a pay to play game, if you want to get anywhere ,you must pay big money! Otherwise I really love it, it's an awesome game. Only other complaint is the tutorial last forever!! Come guys we are smart enough to figure this out before chapter 8 lol.
