The gameplay is good, but the music lacks motivation to me, but the cartoon graphics is what kept me playing. The tower upgrades, tower skills, spells and hero are also well detailed. One of the frustrating things i found was the "quit" button having no warning to quit, it immediately quits and not save progress, some heroes requiring you to pay to obtain, no option to adjust resolution or make the game 2x faster. I would like to recommend this to others. It's a great game but hope you fix it.
Extremely enjoyable tower defense game with somewhat of a plot line and loads of unique characters. However, on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus touchscreen, points across the top in landscape mode seem a little insensitive to touch and cause me to lose lives/points. It is not a problem with my touchscreen because it tests fine with other troubleshooting tools.
Awesome game! The graphics are perfect, the enemies and heroes are very detailed and interesting, and this games take on tower defense is different. It's pretty tough, but thats fine, because if I could master it in a day, it would cease to be fun! The only thing I would recommend is more levels, but since there are a fewore kingdom rush games, that's not a major concern.
Played this game multiple times before, both app and PC version (slightly prefer the latter). Literally just downloaded again to leave this review. This is the absolute king of tower defense games. By a huge margin. Not even close. You're never gonna look at other games of this genre the same. Everything from concept to visual design to sound is just excellent. I actually really enjoy the more playful, innocent optics. This game has character! Whoever came up with this is an absolute genius
Not a game I expected to play. A friend bought the whole computer version for Kingdom Rush games & Iron Marines, so I decided to try the mobile version. Even though it's a bit daunting & frantic-inducing with the difficulty levels, it's a cute strategy game that includes some easter eggs which adds to it's charm~ I also like that someone provided the full story for the kingdom rush saga.
I really like tower defense games and this one is ok. It's not as immediately addicting to me as Tactical Defense was and I'm not entirely sure why. I like that thus far ads have not been a problem. The graphics are nice and the game play is decent but for some reason I feel that it's lacking something that I can't put my finger on to hook me. One suggestion would be to allow pausing of the game without a menu blocking view of the map so visual planning can occur without interference.
It is a great game, at least it was a great game from what I remember, unfortunately it has been while since I have played it and I noticed that all my save files disappeared which is really frustrating for a game I spent hours on. Will definitely change to 5 stars if this problem can be solved! (I have done the steps below but it did not solve my problem, have also opened a ticket to see if I can solve the problem, thanks for the fast reply anyways)
This is nearly one of the best strategy games I have ever seen. I love the detail, lots of bosses and enemies, lots of upgrades for towers, packed with levels, the only thing is that I think you made heroes too expensive. I know, you need money but 4.99 for a SINGLE hero is way too much i recommend putting it for at least 4.50 so more people buy it Thanks for reading 👍
This game is very fun as other people have described. My complaint is that in some of the levels had unique bosses with abilities that weren't fun to play against. Some bosses have the ability to lock down your towers unless you tap on them quickly, this isn't the kind of thing I'm playing this game for and it makes it easy to miss click and waste your abilities. Another boss unexpectedly turned into a dragon right at the last moment and caused me to lose a game I was about to win.
A fun game, used to it on the website back in the day and then after that I bought it for my iPod touch and I am now coming back it ten years later, don't appreciate the added mirco transactions and some of the bonus stages are a bit too extreme but still a really great game that has held up to the test of time, I look forward to replaying it and frontiers and then I will play the other 2 for the first time.
This is a fun, enjoyable game that you can lose many hours on. The campaign provides a nice challenge and is satisfying to beat. The post-campaign missions however, rise sharply in difficulty. Though not impossibly unbeatable, they are so hard that they aren't even fun. Sure, they have walkthrough videos on their website showing how to beat them. But, those are done with all upgrades maxed out. So even if you follow them, your results may vary. Main campaign 5/5 Everything else 2/5
If you use gems you breeze through the game without a challenge no matter the difficulty. If you don't use gems than you basically just trial and error until you find the one exact tower layout that beats the level. Definitely one of the better tower defense games out there but I prefer a little more strategy in my strategy games.
I always come back to kingdom rush. I've been playing this game since it was released and I've even downloaded moded apks in the past haha. Now that I'm in a better place I'm happy to support the game and actually play it the way it's ment to be played. Art is amazing, gameplay is wonderful, and the level design never makes it feel too easy. Must play for anyone with a phone. I've deleted it in the past and I just re-downloaded it and it's still as amazing as I remember. Thank you Devs!
Definitely one of the best tower defense game I've ever played love the game studio too. But I've got a pretty anyoing problem tho, the "one time offer" heroes pack for my account literally doesn't change for weeks now, I don't mind paying for a good game but the offer is just garbage, it price is like 9 times more than the og value of the heroes I haven't bought yet, and it's just sit there every time I login to a save account, or even a new one, anoying.
Fun game, provides a decent challenge on the first levels to allow you to figure out how to play. I am sure later levels get very difficult based on current play and the first few levels being 11 waves of monsters. Clean game simple design, neat animations. Enjoyable for my down time
This would be a five star game but for one annoying feature. Certain levels require you to tap your units to prevent them from getting locked up by spells. This turns an otherwise peaceful and enjoyable game into just trying to tap your phone 200 times a minute. Pointless and frustrating feature
Game was really cool but extremely difficult to beat. Barely got into the game before I got stuck. If you like playing a level dozens of times looking for the right placements then this is the game for you. I find that frustrating and grindy.
Kingdom Rush is by far the best tower defense game I've ever played. I think one of the reasons for this is because of the unique levels and storyline. Also, even after beating the regular campaign, there are still extra level and the two different challenges for each level. I love this game!
Don't get me wrong, I really love the game and I have played it since its first release. I redownloaded it on my new phone and its still fun to play. I gave 3 stars because of my problem with the ads. I'm a player who's willing to watch ads when it gives me benefits. BUT what I hated about their ads is that after I watch an ad for 100 diamonds, it would keep on saying "Processing Request" which oftentimes take so longggg. Please fix that so I would change my rating to 5 stars
The game is fine enough, but the difficulty curve is way too extreme. Even with all the items I got to a level that just couldn't be beat it wasn't even that far in. I guess they expect you to pay real money to even have a chance at playing this for very long.
It's entertaining. After grinding on lower levels, collect enough to buy gold enough to complete the later levels. It takes a lot of grinding or you could just pay cash. Better than other pay to win games where later levels are impossible without the use of a credit card.
The game is great! I really loved my experience from the game, you really need to focus on strategy, every level you play it gets harder and harder, basically this is the game you really would expect to be a real strategy, sometimes as the levels on the game rises, it gets harder, so yeah I really like this one, Big respect to the Ironhide games 🌟🌟🌟 the story line of the game is REALLY GOOD Im impressed, this is probably the best TD game I have ever played...
Good game but the controls don't always work. It's really frustrating when playing the higher battles and the fireball won't activate or you keep pressing on a tower without a response and lose because it's a 1 heart match.
Used to play this when I was in middle school and high school. Probably the best tower defense game out there in my opinion! The quirky designs and the silly voices make for a high quality experience that makes it worth every pe- well, ok, not pennies since its free, but you get what I mean!
My brother bought the Hero 3 pack thing without my permission so I requested a refund since I didn't want to purchase them, the customer service team was so kind and understanding. And this game is so amazing and free, buying the heros would be worth it too! You should also check out the other games, though they aren't all free, considering this is Ironhide Games, they'd be worth it. I'm buying all of their games after I have the spare cash. But fr thank you all. <3 You really are too kind. :3
Awesome game. I find most app games to be cheap lazy advertising grabs where i lose interest in minutes. This game is far from that. After getting 5 or 6 levels into the game, the tower level up options and enemy complexity is fantastic. I finished the campaign and was upset, only to find there are many more levels, some of which took at least an hour to figure out exactly how i needed to spend my skill points, arange my towers, use my abilities and more. Virtually no adds. 10/10
