I used to use this app all the time! It was great, so easy to chose my photos ahead of time and then go print them out. Now it's HORRIBLE! It won't load most of my photos I can't open my albums. I can't even get to the pictures I took today!
It's glitchy. More than once I've had to start over because the buttons to move forward are grayed out, or I couldn't finish my order - that sort of thing.
App is overall easy to use but delivery is the only option you have. I don't see the point in paying 3× what the photos are worth to get it delivered in the next 2 weeks when I can pay for it and pick it up myself the next day.
I've used this app for years, I've never had issues in the past. This month,, however I have been trying to place a print ahead order for Christmas Cards. The app kept stalling as I tried to add the card to the cart. I tried this process every day for a week and was finally able to order cards. It shouldn't have been this difficult. The same thing happened on their website as well. Please get this fixed soon.
Love picking up from my closest Kmart BUT, this app is painful - once your photos are done, there is a last option to "edit", more copies etc. It's not clear what functions are, like the briefcase thing on the left, I had spent an hour editing and then hit it once done, I thought it was an add to cart type but it was delete. I once chose over 100 photos and every time I was done editing, it took me back to the top - infuriating! The zoom is terrible! My advice? Edit first and smaller orders only
I don't like the app. I was trying to use promotion, it said not all conditions were met. The app didn't let me go back and modify any conditions. The only way was to start over. And then it showed that the promotion was applied, but the balance didn't change. The app is super basic 3-step app, variations are not supported, changes are not allowed, I was sent back to start over 2 times and ended up paying full price for the product although I had an active promotion code.
Broken by design as it requires you to connect to a special WiFi. Unfortunately, modern Android versions immediately detect it as broken and disconnect from it again. Even if it worked, usability is very poor, with having to manually to connect to the right WiFi and hoping it doesn't auto-connect to the machine you used last time. For additional insult, the stores already have properly working WiFi, which sure would be a far more convenient way to transfer data.
Needs improvement: 1. Scrolling through pictures is poor, doesn't seem to cache previous photos in the view and takes way too long to load them. Any other app (Google photos, local camera) loads at instantaneous speed while scrolling on my phone. 2. I can't submit from Google photos to a kiosk, but I can through the online ordering? It only allows from local picture storage. Seems clunky. 3. Viewing photos in cart to edit are in low resolution, just seems unfinished.
Horrible design, not user friendly. Should come with a warning to per-organise all photos you want to print into a single folder called "AAA PHOTOS TO PRINT" Only displays a limited number of folders, so those photos down in "Will's Birthday" are inaccessible. Change your mind and want to add some more photos to print? - well, time to start all over again. Be prepared to have people waiting behind you at the kiosk get impatient while you attempt to reconnect multiple times.
Glitchy App. Signs in to most services. Only able to scroll so far through your image library before it gets stuck and can't/won't load more. Not to mention if you use the Kodak computers in store they only load up some select photos from your libraries rather than all preventing an easy and simple experience and turning it into a frustrating one.
Placed order haven't picked up yet. So far much easier than I expected. I am visually impaired on your app if once you clicked to select photo you could make it full screen on your phone it would be very helpful. As it is I use magnifier but still just hope I picked out good picture. Just a thought. Thank you.
Really didn't like using this app, not very intuitive. I couldn't see all the folders on my phone even to choose the pictures. Also when it came time to select the pictures, I couldn't open up the thumbnail (which was really frustrating because I have multiple shots and wanted to pick the best one)
Not good at all. Been trying to order pictures on-line for over a year and haven't been able to do it. Guess I'll try someone else!
Waste of time every time I try to give it another go. I am able to the time consuming part of scrolling through and choosing my photos and then that's it - the app stops working EVERY TIME! once I managed to get to the part to confirm or add sizes and then the whole app shuts down and you have to start all over again. Uninstalled and will be going through someone else. SO frustrating!
terrible have wasted a whole weekend trying to get to the checkout. app continuously crashing. completely frustrated. once there are complete it would take a lot of free photos to get me back. Grrrrrr!!!!! update: you have now rebuily the app from ground up but still same frustrating problems. complete waste of time.
this app has some cool features, good in theory. unfortunately, the execution is really awful, it constantly displays a 'something went wrong' notification when you attempt to do anything on the app, making it super frustrating and non functional. it's more of a chore than a convenience to use:(
I'm disappointed as despite the convenience of ordering photos on your couch, the app encountered an error and me restart my selection of 400 photos which was a huge inconvenience. I reluctantly decided to try again and then was not able to send my order off using my phone - unless I was connected to a high speed wifi. Staff were very helpful but my order disappeared from my basket again. A lot of my time was wasted.
Was a pleasant experience, however i can't grab the albums created in google photos! If there is a way you could do this it would save a hell of a lot of time because we create an album on Google photos and woth all the photos to print and then we can't use them! And we have to go search for all of them again!
Have tried everything, cannot access the photos on my phone. It's just a blank page and nothing happens. Yes permissions have been granted. Samsung galaxy S20
Got there in the end but super glitchey. Firstly took forever to find the pics i wanted. Then added 51 prints of the same thing... for example the same pic was replicated as single '1 print' so had to manually delete back to just 1 print. It would not let me select matte- only stayed on glossy! Didnt matter which dot I picked. Frustrating experience. Don't recommend and won't use again. On the plus, my order ended up going through. But took WAY too long.
Spent about 2 hours adding pictures to print and creating collages. Every action I tried to do would take forever to load. Once I had everything on my cart, the app crashed. I tried to start from the beginning and it just wouldn't work. So much waisted time on this app!!!
App is very slow. It's took almost 2 hours to select, upload, and purchase my prints. Meanwhile the app almost crashed on me and I had to re-select all 600 pictures I wanted to order. I also tried to create a profile and the app will not load. I hope my pictures are correct in what I selected to be delivered.
Once I had finally got through the repeated freezing in the "crop" screen, the app confirmed my order, however it did not send an email confirmation. I received a push notification an hour later saying my order was ready for pickup (again no email). When I went to the store to pick up my order, they had no record of it and I needed to redo the order in store.
Why is it so hard to choose photos when it's the only purpose of it. There's no basic browser to select files. Even the album view only shows a few of the actual albums present in the phone. Old app was better and more reliable.
