Sometimes chat works, mostly it does not. It's a coin toss at this point. There's always an error when I'm trying to message someone in game from mobile. Sometimes I recieve chat notifications many hours after they are sent. It's extremely frustrating. Please fix the issue.
The friend list and online people does not refresh as soon as I open the app and I need to close it and open again for it to refresh. Sometimes it shows no internet connection and again needs to close and open to be fixed. Messages arrive late and the the changes my friends make to their name does not show as soon.
good for looking up schedule and scores. Playback if VOD doesn't have language settings that work. Chats don't update properly. There are many bugs that need fixing but the potential is great.
Would be nice to watch games from the app.. but the way the meta is headed to faster and faster games is not even worth watching or playing really. Every champion is now an assassin and the og assassins kill you before you see them. Every new champion is op, and older balanced champions are reworked to be in the same level as the new op champions. Overall, cool app! Even cooler that it was made by riot themselves! But, the main section (and the only section) that I use has A LOT of bugs and issues!! Section I'm talking about, is the social section. I have 5 friends playing and the mobile app says I have only 1 friend who stopped playing (and I'm not friends with anymore) online. And everyone else who is offline is apparently not friends with me anymore according to the app. There is also about three more bugs with that section! Fix this!!
The experience has been terrible for me the app never opens always a blackscreen with news, esport, social and profile tabs visible but never able to interact with the tabs.. very disappointing, better off using your PC.
Literally the worst app. Doesn't refresh properly and makes it impossibly difficult to see wether or not a friend is online. Messages don't send and takes forever to be up to date
It is convenient having the vods easily available, but you cannot stream them to your tv, which is a big letdown. Plus, I think it is ridiculous that the only way to watch LEC live is with the Hungarian stream.. I'm Dutch! English is fine
I rate this a 1 because every time I try to open it, It closes! And it won't work every time it does open the app it's glitchy and does work properly. And this upsets me.
Even after the update, you cannot watch videos on full screen on this because they limit the buttons on the YouTube player and if you try and use the buttons the app provides it crashes
There is no remember me option, you'll have to write your info everytime you leave the application, it gets annoying really quick, and why have a sing out in the sittings to begin with, just exit.
Please fix the log-in. I select the 30 day option and it always logs me out. It'll say something about not being able to load the news and then log me out. It's so frustrating to log-in each time especially when you have the 2fn on. 😑 Yes I did put it on but I also thought it would work across all the apps that requested it...
I've been using the app for several years now. There were some issues previously, but they have sinced reworked the app and now combined all of the news and much of the content for their suite of games. Responsiveness is much better. Highly recommend the app if you like to stay plugged into news happening with LoL, LoR, WR, and Valorant.
Used to be good and when winter comes i cant even use it anymore. Wont pull up friends list and even chat feature or profile. Kept on updating and still havent fixed it yet. Got a Note 9 (update) 2 years have passed and i got S22 Ultra and still having issues. Cant login now it says all the time server login issue
Pretty good app the thing that I would love if there was a system where you could buy in game credits with money on your phone. Would make me love this one thousand times more. Please do it
The only useful feature for me, the friend list, is very laggy, sometimes doesn't update at all.
Need more features and it still buggy and don't have a feature to unblock someone wow Riot well done need a proper optimization to the app have potential
Not working properly. The perfomance of the app is terrible, doesn't update your friend list, occasionally shows that you have no internet connection, takes multipile log ins and refreshes to show who is online etc. It's as bad as their client was when it first came out
Whenever I open the app, I must login always!!!!!!!!! This is soooo much worse, please fix so that once login is enough
It would have been nice if i could change the icon and search for a friend. Options like these make the app better
Doesn't even load news, social friend list. Why there is a feature that doesn't work and doesn't get fixed?
App has bugs with chat where message wont send sometimes, and a friend that is online on the client on pc is sometimes offline on riot mobile, pls fix
I love this app. Since my laptop is pretty weak I close my client during the game but I still can message people using my phone. The only problem with messages is that sometimes they don't appear right after recieving. Also, it takes some time to load active friends. Same with game history. Sometimes it doesn't load at all and shows only older games. But it happens rarely so it's not bad. Overall as I said I love this app. It's useful. My suggestion is to expand the app. Like, allow us to view our collections. What champs, skins, icons, wards etc. we have. Also, viewing store would be amazing too. Sometimes it would be so useful to just go and check something without having to open computer and log in to the client especially when you don't have opportunity to do that because you're not at home. I know that many people might find it useless but I think it's really worth a try especially in smartphone era.
Before the update, this app worked great. It allowed for me to stay in contact with the many friends I have made in LoL without actually being on the client. After the update, something went terribly wrong. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice, my plentiful friends list was empty. To add insult to injury, when I tried to add my friends, the app said, "Something broke. Try again later." Messages written to me while on the client would pop up on my phone but be unreadable.
It's literally non-functional. Absolutely everything but external links have been broken for over a month - last update says it has made some improvements, but nothing has changed - viewing who's online and friends list straight up doesn't work, and for an app who's main purpose is to have the ability to talk to your friends is literally impossible: you can't read any messages nor send any. Don't bother.
The app doesnt really work. The concept is cool but most of the features do not work. It doesnt show if your friends are online in League only the friends that have league+. When you try to send a message it doesnt send you only can receive a message. The timetable for the pro matches is broken and you have to restart the app atleast once to be able to see a live match. Some of the bugs get fixed but with every fix there comes a new bug.
It used to be a great app, I used it on two accounts because I had different friends on both and I could chat with all of them since the friend list of my first account is full. Now it says it doesn't support multiple account. My profile is now a question mark called analyzing. I have a dark blue screen for all functionality. I can't see any chat, nor people, nor streams or news. Well it's simply an unusable app that needs to be uninstalled until they completely fix it or change it. Disappointed
