LetterSchool Free - write abc

The app was unresponsive: clicking on the shapes & letters did nothing except make them wiggle w/ music. Still not sure how you get to practice a letter. At first I thought it was because I hadn't subscribed. I subscribed. Same issue. I unsuscribed. For less than 5 USD one time fee, there are some fantastic letter tracing apps. At this price, the expectation is higher. Basic issues like this are a no no. I'm open to coming back if value can be demonstrated above and beyond the 5 USD apps.

This app is one of the better ones out there for android. WHAT I LIKE: * that it offers the font I want * that it provides multiple practices for each letter. * that it makes you stay close to the guidelines. * that there is immediate feedback. * that tne last try is from memory * that the graphics are fun and appealing. WHAT WOULD MAKE IT BETTER: It needs a top line, a base line and a mid-line so that kids can practice proper placelent, tall and short letters, and letters that extend below.

Kids love app so we purchased full version. Every time app starts the purchase disappears and it tries to make me buy the full $9.99 version again and again. I contacted support & they haven't been much help yet... The graphics are good, the animation keeps kids involved but if they can't go past E or 5 it gets frustrating for them & thus mom & dad. The sensitivity for tracing letters is very exact, it might be better to have a bit more tolerance based on child's age & skill level?

I never actually subscribed for the full version of this app, I downloaded a part version a long time ago. 2 days ago money was taken from my account for a yearly subscription. It is not useful to me, I never use, I tried to go in to it today to see how I can unsubscribe and then uninstall, but it doesn't even open. Dodgey.

Nice app! I see a lot of effort to make it, however I think it could be even better. 1. in the games where you have to find a letter, I would suggest to deduct a star not only if you click wrong letter but also if the right one leaves the screen (missed one). 2. A better rating what is good writing what is not. now with 2 star rating he will get 'good' which to my mind is a bit too good rating. Otherwise, thank you for good app!

I like the app because it has sounds and things to trace like the led lights train track and more and you can do different fonts and write in cursive. But the only problem is their is no other things to do like spell words with long vowels and the stuff that has not came out yet. So yea, that's the only problem.

It's a great app, but it will not load to my son's android tablet. It's loaded fine to my iphone. And if it does load to android, it auto orient's the letters upside down opposite from my son. So he can't play it and that's highly frustrating. Reinstalling or restarting it doesn't work so we can't consider purchasing anything. You don't need another email to support. There's enough feedback here about it. Just fix it!

App was great at first for the first 30 minutes. I intended on purchasing it to unlock the alphabet, but was soon disappointed when it started to freeze on the second portion for my child and I. When you go to tap and drag to form the letter it freezes and won't proceed.

This game could not be better. The guidance, gentle nudges and the animations make the experience truly engaging. My son loves writing letters for 30 minutes at a time. The fact that it includes different styles of letters is impressive. I have my son use a stylus pen so that he can get used to holding a pencil correctly. This is by far the most useful educational app we have. Fantastic job!

I like this app and so does my son. Hes been learning alot of letters. My concerns are I have emailed the support team about why we cannot use this on the family link and why its not working on a Samsung tablet that we have. I havent heard from anyone either. I would like to get a resolve for our issue.

The app is great but i paid for content and I can not access it without proving im an adult. I'm grateful for the security step but the main screen goes lateral on my phone and it cuts off all the numbers I need to press in order to access the settings or my profile. I can only see the top half of 1 to 5. When I select an activity the screen rotates so when I click on settings the same question appeares but I could see the whole question. Suggestions?

My son is 8 yrs old and has autism and my daughter is 4. They play this game together and love it. I think a stylo pen would be a great recommondation for this app so they can learn to write with a pencil and not there finger. They have learned so much from this app. It can be challenging at times but isnt that the point!. Love it! I wish the Virtual Schools had apps like this.

Zero stars for being charged twice ( £43 for yearly paid in November 21 and recently £4.59 monthly) . Support team have been ignoring my emails asking for refunds. I think it is a rip off for a parent to pay a subscription for the service as it is the same thing all year round . To make it interesting my 5yr old son who has ASD uses 2 phones . One of them has letterschool on YouTube and the other the actual game. Gave it 1 star so that it lets me post this.

Bad my son does exactly what it shows him. You shouldn't make it so hard for the child to draw. He start drawing like it shows him and what ever design is fallowing his finger will bounce back. Seriously, it just leaves him frustrated and he doesn't even want to do it.i don't blame him I was getting annoyed too.

I have tried installing this app on my sons tablet 4 times I even bought the full version. Just for the app to not work. Everytime I try to click on an letter it just flips or dosen't react at all. The strange thing is it works fine on my phone just not the tablet. please fix the problem.

I purchased this game several years ago. I am now unable to restore that original purchase because it's been converted to a subscription format. This is insulting beyond words to people who supported this app early in it's development. Why isn't there any option for me to use only what I've paid for?

The app doesn't work. It launches the title "letterschool" but then nothing happens. It freezes on the logo and my son can't play at all. Utterly disappointing.

Badly good. It reached my kids to write letters. But they like it too much that I can't take them out of it. They have to learn to write words and sentences. But they prefer it to anyother app. Wish it to teach words

I have paid full price for this app more than once. Why do I have to keep paying over and over to download on the same tablet and the same account? 10-23-19 I sent you an email 2 days ago and no one has chosen to respond. Paid €7.49 to open the letters only to find the special offer on the next part of the game to unlock all for €9.99. Please refund my payment and i will buy the full access. Also the testing stage there are some questions which dont have the correct answer as an option in the sequence section to choose. Please fix this

Does not load beyond the Letter School loading graphic. Waited about 4 minutes before my kid gave up. Unplayable. Restarting the app did not fix it. Too bad because he loves the gameplay videos on youtube.

The idea and implementation of the app is great. But why the hell my son is able to switch from learning Dutch to English in one click using "probeer in Engels" icon? I don't want my kid to switch language on his own!

Non-functional. The whole question to activate it does not show on screen, only a portion of the question. Also, there is no trial and we do not know what the cursive characters look like to even know if it's similar to what we are using for school.

Not easy to use and it's glitchy plus it's a subscription so it's a no from me as there sre better free and one off payment writing apps. The other letterschool app is awesome so I'm a bit disappointed.

It's an amazing app. My 6 year old has been using and loving it for years. It's one of the reasons he learned his ABC'S at an early age and now he enjoys using it to practice writing them! I'm impressed with how easy it has for him to learn writing his letters and now he's starting to write them in cursive!

Subscription only game. You gotta pay just for the kids to learn. There are other letters apps that you can choose.

This is the best game ever! I loved this when I was 6-7 now I am 8! The purchase makes me learn how to write different languages like Arabic and Japanese! Thank you for this lovely game!! (my name is Ertugrul and i'm not a parent or teacher, im a kid.)

I succesfully installed this from my laptop but it doesn't appear in 'My Apps' and I can't figure out how to access it or get it to play anything other than the demo video... annoying!

I found this app really good for my child. The child was really interested in the app, it supports in improve attention span and boosting confidence to achieve a task.

Barely functional. My large adult fingers had to press hard to get the app to write. My son's toddler fingers couldn't do anything in the app. Do not install, and certainly don't pay for it.
