I love this game. Well, it would be more correct to say "loved". I truly loved it in 2018, and decided to replay for nostalgic value, but the fact that it was abandoned really...didn't make the experience good. It's hard to move forward with the amount of tickets, coins are almost impossible to get without paying, and the fact that you just. Can't play event stories if you didn't catch them is in time is not the best. 2 stars for the nostalgia.
The gameplay is really interesting and fun, it would definitely leave you wanting more! My main problem is that the chapters are incredibly short, too short for each ticket, which is incredibly frustrating especially when all the tickets only refill after 24 hours. There's also a problem with lagging which usually happens when you open the app and get stuck at the main menu for who knows how long.
The ads available in exchange for coins don't work, making it a pay to play game. It requires ridiculous permissions to start. During the investigation bits, the game forces the script and it's impossible to play on your own. Unless the player is lucky to have their favorite character not be one of the liars, every other ending feels rushed. The main route MC is extremely unlikeable and I had to change routes, which was a big waste of time. The concept of the game is cool, though.
I love this game! It's free for the most part and the amount of tickets you get per day is generous! I absolutely adore how the heroine has an actual personality and the interactions with the other characters are so fun since I also have to keep a lookout for potential evidences. I have some issues with it though. As the game progresses around the 7th liar, it's harder to get the savvy points needed to get an S ranking since the beginner boost of tickets was done. But overall, I recommend it! :)
Really fun game, but a little glitchy. Prizes will occasionally disappear from the mail box and sometimes the app will hang on the loading screen, but it is easily fixed by restarting the game. I did have one issue where I purchased coins and they didn't show up. Customer service was responsive, polite and worked with me to resolve the issue. It's nice to play a game that has a good support staff behind it.
If you get stuck on the news screen, just click play movie, and immediately click close. That works for me every time. This game is unique, interesting, and fun if you like visual novel/otome games. You will have to have a lot of patience to progress if you dont pay. You only get a few tickets a day, and the chapters can be so short, you can only spend ~5 mins a day playing most times. Would not recommend paying, as it costs $1 for 3 tickets. I paid that and got only 1 minute of gameplay.
It's a much different formula and the 'mystery solving' aspect is surprisingly fun! Sadly some of the free coin videos freeze up or don't work, if you leave the app while reading an Ending, it starts it over? Weird bug. The dialogue can be cheesy sometimes but it's fine. Now, the good stuff. I appreciate how refreshing the first main character is! The plot lines are zany, drama filled and HILARIOUS at times. This game will have you checking in every five hours for Cool Points 💖
It's a good game. The tickets are expensive, considerring how short a chapter (which they buy) is, but you can get 5 day for free, and more as rewards and events come and go. To debunk some of the negative reviews I saw, I am reinstalling from playing on iPad, and only had to complete the tutorial again before switching to Office Deception story. I had the connection issue, but then rememberred my security blocks new apps till I "Allow" them, and then it was fine... So, it's all good.
This app is so unexpected and takes a fun turn on a visual novel thingy. The graphics, the animation, how its constructed by the developers is so beyond amazing! The plot of this game is so amazing and its in a way you wont expect it to be. This is just wow! And its painful how things end on one of the stories, very painful. This will really take you on an emotional ride! I highly recommend this to those who want a break on a traditional visual novel.
This game is amazing! From the art, to the story, to the music, and the characters! As long as you're patient with waiting for and saving up tickets, you can complete this game entirely for free. However, my main gripe is that it seems that the EN team basically abandoned this app? There are no more events, and although the JP version is up to season 5, the EN version has been stuck at season 3 for almost 2 years now. Please update the app, devs!!
So my interest in this game are on and off. The story line is on point and the routes are just amazing. But what bugs me is that I have to wait for a day to just get my tickets. Yea sure its a good plot and all but each scene is quite short after you finish the prologue and after you finish your first liar. The next few liars will cost you alot of tickets. I recommend you playing this at night, mostly around 10-2 am if you can't really stay up late. Or 4 am for better experience.
The stories are good, but the chapters are WAY too short so it feels like you've just wasted tickets, especially in the questioning portion. This does not change when you choose to support the app by spending money. It's isn't worth spending money, just wait for the next day. Hopefully I can finish the stories before I lose interest in this app.
This game is absolutely amazing. I adore having to find out who is lying. The game glitches and crashes sometimes, but the gameplay is so fantastic I continue playing. This game is very unique. Your results are based upon your actions, and you can get very different results. Very based on player selection, the player determines you the liar is. In my experience, it seems to always be the one I think isn't lying! >_<
I use to play this game back in 2013, (its been un/reinstalled multiple times since then, so my data has never saved) and I loved it. Now in 2022, its hella outdated for the newer phones. I realllly hope the company thinks about rebooting this app because I really loved the whole concept of it. It would be nice to see it again with better graphics, more stories, saveable date plz lolol, and just more things to do in general.
i really like this game, its so unique and very intimidating, but i am very disappointed by the bug at the "menu" button. whenever i tap it, it bring me back on the front screen, then it says that i have to redownload the file to play, so i did as it says, but then it keeps saying the same thing everytime i tap the "menu" button. So i try and reinstall this app thrice, but the results is still the same. Now I can't even play it. It is so sad and very unsatisfying...
concept is great, but it is a very glitchy game. just like a few of the other reviews, I experienced no connection glitch and lost tickets because of it. it's an inconvenience because the tickets take a long time to get. customer support is also unhelpful, they send an automated message saying a representative will help with the issue, but they just send another automated message refusing to admit it's a glitch, and instead blaming the the app was not downloaded properly or bad connection.
The only problem with this game is that each time the news window opens I can't click the close button unless I choose certain news. It worked few times like this without a problem but right now it's not closing at all. It's very annoying and it just makes me want to drop it but I'll try a few times more. Could you please fix it?
Absolutely amazing game... But its really hard to get the tickets... What i like the best, is that there are three different stories. It's really funny btw.. loved it absolutely. EDIT i just can't get the S rank, even if cool points i collect are much much more than the required amount. And the tickets are reduced to just 5 per day from 10.
This game is pretty good when it loads, but that's pretty rare. Despite other apps working at the exact same time, this app frequently reported a poor connection and took upwards of a minute to load between less-than-a-minute-long scenes- and each of these scenes, which mostly consist of lots of filler, cost a ticket. After the beginning promotional period, you are given five of these tickets per day. One full "episode" is on average 25 to 30 tickets worth. Most of the time the game crashes.
I love this game, i truly do. But its never been updated since 2018, does the dev have abandoned this game completely? My God that would be a shame, this is a fresh idea otome, i've never seen any like this before, and definitely still has many potentials to unbox. I hope you guys would do a recampaign or something!! Oh yeah also, i've done the first route without spending any bucks fellas, so don't worry, if you are smart enough to calculate your tickets you actually can play it for free!! 😌
I loved it, not just as an otome game but the whole detective side of it too! I rated 3 stars however as when changing phones I lost ALL my progress, and I had gotten pretty damn far. Going through it all again when you know who's lying just isn't fun. Really needs a sign in feature so you don't lose progress, because now I'm kinda unwilling to get back into it.
A really well made otome game mixed with a detective-esque vibe.. Some are fairly challenging to solve which makes it more fun, I love these types of investigating games and I almost perfectly got everything right. The characters are good looking, the arts are superb as for all Voltage otoges. They have three routes so its really worth your time. If they ever make another route, I'd download this again 😍💕
THE MOST UNIQUE OTOME YOU'LL EVER FIND! Really good scenario, even though it sometimes progresses in an unnatural way. Great characters and development. MC is loveable, and her search for the perfect honest man while pretending to be herself perfect is great for plot development. Gives a lot of food for thoughts as well. The fortuneteller is a pretty funny character too. Been playing for a long time and I hope to play for more! The support is quick to answer and gives good and useful solutions.
