Lime Player

I got this in order to work with showbox's update. It wasn't able to stream to my TV so that was a big minus. Just using it to play on my phone was great. You can control the brightness by scrolling the left side of the screen and adjust the volume by scrolling the right side. And for the first time since using showbox I could leave the app and come back to the same spot in what I was watching w/o it starting over. Now showbox has a another update and I can stream to my TV. It works perfect now!

As a video player I was forced to use, it's ok. But either the site I'm using to stream videos from, or this app has way too many ads. Pause your video, got to watch a 15 second ad before it plays again. Go back to the main menu? Watch this ad first. Again, might be the streaming service itself, but they do run ads in the top of the player, when you aren't watching something full screen. The player works good. No frills basic player. Not a lot of extension playable options though.

it actually works on my phone. it does what it says it does, and it makes alot of things play faster and i enjoy being able to switch the brightness and volume by swiping up and down. the new showbox update wasnt that bad. i didnt like the idea of getting it first but i gave it a try and it actually has made my experience with showbox alot better. I however cant speak for those users who use chromecast, i heard they are having major issues with it. maybe they can fix it. other than that its good

This app works for showbox, and it's cool, but I prefer MX Player because it's a lot more accurate with choosing a part of the video you want to go into. Also you can also flip the screen to both sides left and right. Does anybody know how to get back to using MX Player for Showbox cuz it keeps saying it's going to come out soon but it's said that for a long time and it hasn't came out.

No longer allows showbox to function properly as it says you require this app to watch anything, however it just loops round in a circle and you cannot get past the install page. Very disappointed as I use showbox all the time (or at least used to). Don't see how this will work going forward and seems there is no solution at this stage so will have to stop using the app. Was a great app before for its variety and ease of access. Shame this was ruined by these changes. Wouldn't recommend this app.

So so I'd rather do without. I'm not having a problem watching tv shows or movies except you have to lock the player because if you touch the screen whatever you're watching will either fast forward or rewind, or the volume goes up or down, or the lighting goes up or down. There's no easy way to adjust the lighting or the sound. It's a royal pain! Using showbox the way it was before was fine. It worked great without problems. If it isn't broke don't fix it. However, lime player needs fixing.

Lime player does not work well with Showbox. It appears to be the only option for me to view shows. It causes you to waste a lot of time trying to watch movies also. Frequently tells me to select another server. I guess I need to select another app to have a good experience. Anyone know a good app to recommend for watching shows and movies to replace this?

Never had an issue with this app. It plays everything very well, with almost no errors. My previous player would error out all of the time, especially if I tried to pause for longer than a minute or if I had to pause multiple times. No such issues with the Lime Player. My only complaint is when I go back to the app I'm getting programs streamed from and select the next episode, the Lime Player is still engaged with cast but doesn't automatically start the next episode.

It sort of works, but a lot of issues. needs major improvements when casting from phone to TV. never had an issue before. The picture is good but sound quality gets very choppy. And having to pause alot to let the films stream download to watch a movie. I am looking forward to an improved quality app. Hopefully sooner then later I hope. I will rewrite once improved.

I've started using this app a month ago and at first it seems alright. i change my mind. Although you can watch movies in hd, when you pause the screen to look at something, there's always an ad that pops up infront of the screen and you can't close it. Also, the scrubbing rate is way too sensitive. it's hard to skip to the exact number/time you want. also the skip back 5 seconds button sometimes doesn't work and it frustrates me. Limeplayer you better make some new updates.

Stops at least 3 times during a 42 minute program. It might play a whole movie then not play another movie. If I just try to start the program again "Sorry, can't play this video". Have to close app and open again; then, try and find where it left off. Very annoying! Should have enough ads to at least pay to make the app work properly. Maybe a five dollar one-time purchase for ad free? But, at least fix the app from randomly stopping.

After the showbox update and reading the reviews, I was hesitant to download this at first but gave it a try anyway—and it worked on the first try! Glad that it did. Showbox is my go to app for downloading and streaming TV shows. Maybe it doesn't play to others the same way it did to mine because of the phone updates and stuff. Hope this gets fixed soon. 💕

Don't take this the wrong way but I think Showbox would be better without this app, the old Showbox is fine and while this app isn't all bad, it took away the feature to adjust the brightness on the left hand side of the screen. In fact, this app has also taken away the feature to select times in the movie simply by wiping your finger across the screen. Please put it into consideration to remove the WRAP and 4 x 3 screen sizes because, let's be honest, nobody uses them and it is a waste of time.

I was really nervous downloading this as needed by showbox. I saw the bad reviews and was worried it wouldn't work, especially since I literally use showbox on a daily basis! But, to my surprise, it works really well for me! It does take some getting use to the way you touch your phone it turns up the volume or brightness, but overall I am very pleased and have had no problems with it! (I did not need to download shows to watch on app, haven't tried watching a movie yet)

At first the app was really good and I was able to watch videos with no problem at all, in fact I thought it was a much better upgrade than the basic video player Showbox used. It was all good until the video and audio started to become out of sync, I was unable to fix it because we forced to use only this player. If there is a fix to this PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

I downloaded this because of Showbox. So far it works fine. It hasn't crashed or anything. I didn't grant the app any permission and it still works as well. I don't see why Showbox linked up with this player when the previous one was fine without another 3rd party app. I'm clearly in the minority as many others are having issues. I'm using an S9 if that helps.

Not too sure why showbox have decided to change what was a great app. but given the fact i had no choice in the matter I gave it a try...... after a few attempts i managed to get it hooked up to my smart tv and i was impressed with the playback. no lag and audio in sync with the video. i had accepted it into my life until inexplicably my phone disconnected from my tv.so i hooked it back up to the tv loaded the movie i was watching. UNABLE TO FAST FORWARD!! why?? how has this not been tested?

I was forced to download this player to view showbox and it worked great at first. I didn't have issues with videos restarting in the middle of a show or movie with this app but it went so dark I could hardly see the show and can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. it definitely has some issues that need to be addressed and hopefully will be soon. clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't seem to fix this issue.

This app is terrible. I literally only have it for Showbox and half of the shows/movies don't play with. And it's the only player that Showbox uses!! I just keep getting "sorry, can't play this video(". Showbox was way better before they were forced to use this trash. Edit: Now it won't load anything on there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and it still won't work. I know it's not my phone because I have the Razer phone 2 and it has better specs than most Android phones.

only downloaded this player because showbox is forcing me to do so .Worst video player ever. It's so sensitive if you accidentally touch the screen during the video you will be fast forwarded to an hour or something with just a single touch. don't even have a lock option. cant go backwards to 5 or 10 seconds if you want to see something again you will have touch the screen and bammm you are at the start of the video !

This app is great one when it comes on to movies, it even load back your movie to the previous scene that you left off. The problems I have with it is that t first the would start playing the movie as soon as you hit the play button, but now it's taking about 2 to 3 minutes sometimes a little lest to start. And it's very upsetting to be watching your movie and have ad just break your concentration on the movie. Plus I think other than what I explained their is room for improvement.

I always do the updates for showbox. This time it said to install this app after completing update. However, after updating and installing this app I could no longer watch anything. Also, it took away option for subtitles. I love that feature! I couldn't view anything. It didn't work. So I'm following the advice from previous comments of uninstalling showbox in order to continue enjoying my shows and movies. I don't like that now everything shows that I never watched it.

works perfectly to me. I was a bit disappointed to see the message to download this app to see movies in showbox but it's actually pretty good. I love the subtitles system you guys have, it works perfectly and well. I feel like things also load even better but the only problem i have is the sensitivity to skip to a different time. I've skipped parts of the movie everytime I touch the bottom part. I reccomend being forced to click the center of the screen to be able to interact with everything.

Just, really bad. Swiping in different parts of the screen performs a random function that it doesn't tell you in the begining. It is incredibly sensitive and can't be turned off. It also overrides the settings of the phone itself. The skip forward and backward feature makes the video buffer until you kill the app or restart your phone. If there was an option to turn off all the swiping on the screen features it would be just fine but there's not. It works for a specific app though so I'll us it
