I don't mind watching ads, when I choose to watch ads. Ads hinder game play! Every time you finish a round an ad pops up, with no option to close or mute it. It's loud and obnoxious. Graphics and line art is excellent. You can play offline to avoid ads. Will change my review if the ad situation changes.
Overall, the game is just fine. It looks good, it's a fun time waster that makes you work your mind a little bit. No complaints there. But good lord the ads! In between every single puzzle is a bit much and you have to wait to skip them, on top of that they are 2 layer adds, you have to watch a video clip and then it tries to get you interact with it. That's absolutely too much, the levels aren't long enough to make you feel ok with the ads. It's like being pelted every few seconds.
This is a cute game, but the ads are too much. Not only do I get the option for add after each game, but there are ad-walls, levels you can only unlock by ads, there are random add when you finish a level, random ads in the middle of the level, if you tab out you get an ad when you come back, when the graphics glitch, ad, and these are not simple picture ads. I'm talking 30 second video ads. I spend more time searching for the tiny X in ads than I do playing this game. Absolutely nothing like it. I've never seen a game this bad. Great game, but too many ads ruins it. Might as well just go watch ads on YouTube, it's the same.
Would be 5 stars but the ads are really excessive. Most of the time you get an ad after two levels, which seems like a lot, then there are times you get them after EVERY level. I like this game a lot, but I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game. But the game is beautiful and when i actually can play a level it's smooth and responsive.
I am very much enjoying this game. Yes, it does have ads, it IS free after all. However, I wouldn't consider it too many ads. Every few puzzles/levels, you get an ad for about 5 seconds (then you can 'X' out of it. Each level/puzzle, upon completion, offers you a free hint for watching an ad. Those are longer (30 seconds) but they are totally optional. You start out the game with 3 free hints and you get hints throughout the game even if you don't watch the ads to get the free hints. So far, I've never had an ad interrupt any of my games *knocks on wood*
I like this game. This is a really good game. I uninstalled it though because after every single game I pass there are ads. Not after completing a level or every 5 games. EVERY SINGLE GAME! If you complete a game quickly, you could be seeing ads every 2 minutes or less. If you lock your phone, after unlocking it's ads again. TOO MUCH ADVERTISING! Wasn't sure if I was playing a game or watching TV.
Great game. It does have a HUGE drawback though...no pun intended. There are way too many ads!! Sometimes they occur after every level. And sometimes that's seconds apart. I get super aggravated with it and stop playing. I'm at the point now where I just want to uninstall it. But if there is a way to remedy this, I would keep playing. So please respond with a way to do so and I will change my review to 5 stars and share with my friends!
Yes, the ads are annoying as hell. If you spend more than a minute on a puzzle, you get an ad. Every 3 puzzles you get an ad. To top that off, it tends to take less than 10 seconds to solve a puzzle. It is WAY too easy! The game actually treats you like you are mentally retarded. If you have the audacity to spend more than five seconds on a puzzle or spend 2 seconds to figure out the next step the hint buttons "flashes" as I describe it. Don't flash the damn hint button, we aren't retarded!
I like the game, and I'm pretty sucked into it, but the amount of ads is completely ridiculous. I'm literally getting an ad after every level AND every time I switch back to the app while it's still open. Sometimes I even get an ad just from opening the app and loading a level! If I didn't like the game so much, the excessive ads would have driven me away long ago.
Good UI, good game. Too large. The in app ads are not only distracting but also intolerably too long. Other apps, when you click back buttons up to five times, the ads stop. Developers must realise that while it's OK to view adverts for them to make profits, people with mental health disorders and learning disabilities can not aways be patient. If I'm enjoying playing a game, I don't necessarily want to constantly watch 30 seconds long ads everything I win or lose a level. It's too much and very impractical. It's unfair to overload my senses like that. I'm deleting after leaving this feedback. Thank you for the free game.
This game is okay. The ads are excessive and the puzzles are incredibly easy. I've only given a 3 because of both of those things. With the levels being so easy, it only takes a few seconds to finish each level and then you have to sit and watch a 30 second advert just to play another few seconds of an easy game. Cute idea, that sadly has been taken hostage by the mobile gaming industry. Too many ads for little gameplay.
It's ok. Super easy time waster. But no challenge so far, I'm currently on level 54. Also, there's a short ad after most levels, but since the levels aren't very challenging, they don't take much time to solve and so I feel like I spent as much or even more time watching the ads as I did actually playing. Overall very meh.
I gave this puzzle game a fair go, but after 50 levels the challenge hadn't meaningfully increased beyond that of the tutorial. I felt like I was doing data entry rather than solving a puzzle. The clue to each puzzle is also the solution in a very direct way, It's not really possible to fail a level, so I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment when I completed one.
It's fun, I guess, but there are WAY TOO MANY ads. Levels are really short, and there is an ad before every. single. one. And not even the ones you can just exit out of quickly, it's the kind that makes you wait several seconds first. It throws off my rhythm, and makes the game much more frustrating than entertaining.
Nice puzzle game. Great value (if you don't need any hints and just want the ad-free version) Update: Current version (1.3.32) freezes on the main menu. You can only close it by removing it from memory. Update 2: Current version fixes freezing menu. Update 3: Current version adds extra levels (nice!) and a "bonus spinner". The spinner has 8 possibilities of which 2 ("10x" and "string") NEVER occur.
Tons of ads. Don't go in with any unrealistic expectations because let me tell you, it's literally more ads than game time. Every 2 levels that you do, which takes about 10 seconds total, if that... You then get an ads that runs... It's terrible. I've never uninstalled an app because of ads I've always though people were over dramatic about that stuff... I've now met The One... 😳
I love the game it's very addictive and quite challenging in the higher levels. I gave this low stars because bitmango's support is beyond horrible. My phone was damaged so I had to reinstall the game on my new phone. I had it synced with Facebook to save progress. But it wouldn't sync back, I lost all my progress and the hints I got when I paid for ad free. I emailed Bitmango and got no response, week goes by I email again, no response. Thanks for stealing my money Bitmango! And now that the app was updated yesterday it won't even open. They steal your money then break the app so it can't be played.
Potential to be a great challenging game. However, the adverts are relentless. The puzzles are very easy, you spend more time watching the adverts rather than doing the puzzle. You get one / two puzzles then it's advert. If you accidentally press the button to go out, before you can continue it's an advert. Any slight action, you play it goes to advert. Far too many adverts , you should have at least ten puzzles before an advert pops up. If you like easy puzzles and don't mind the adverts (and goodness there is a lot of them). Install, if you have a life, avoid.
I first got this app on my iPad. Great app, great fun, and gives the "Little Grey Cells" a damned good workout. HOWEVER... ads after every single game? TOO MUCH! Alas by the time I felt like dumping it, I was already addicted. So I purchased the ads-free version. It is now on iPad, and phone. Unfortunately, if you want ads-free you have to pay on every device you install it. Unfortunately I just happen to love playing it. Grrrrrrr! :-)
I like puzzle games. This is not a puzzle game, or at least not a remotely challenging one. The intro levels are completely braindead-easy-- maybe there's some mechanic introduced later to make it harder than "copy a simple shape with no constraints," but I'm not going to pay to unlock level packs when it may just be more of the same, and I'm definitely not sitting through 50 or 60 levels that an average kindergartener would find trivial.
It was going great until your recent update with the art levels "watch a video to play the level and then watch and as after you finish. Watch an ad every 2 levels but watch this video to play this one level otherwise you can't progress farther. Yeah I loved it it was a great time waster and didn't mind the ads but now it's just not worth it, there is a line and you crossed it.
Strangely addicting. There are lots of levels (some of them are challenging) and the game makes for a great pastime, however, it's riddled with adds: like every two levels there is an add. But, some of the adds are also playable demos for other games, so it didn't make me want to take a hammer to my phone.
Great little logic puzzle game, starts super easy and gradually gets challenging. Can be played off-line. Good Ads not obnoxious. For small cost can pay for ads to be removed. I love the undo button! But this game is just that: a logic puzzle game. So tho it is nice, it's not addictive. Some rewards or sideline goals would maybe make it more addictive eg, have to achieve a timelimit to get points to unlock levels or get hints, free moves etc. something.
The game is really fun and easy to play, and though it starts off really simple the levels get harder and harder. The only problems are the lag when you try to switch between apps and the popup ads. It's also a little annoying that the level automatically skips when you complete it, and there should be a "Done" button.
I love this game. It is easy and complex at the same time. Perfect time waster. BUT. While i know commercials are needed to make games free. The sheer amout of commercials in ratio to game play.....makes it not worth playing at all. A guaranteed comercial after 3 - 4 puzzles. I recommend dont dont download. Youll love it, but just get frustrated in the end.
Holy hell is this game fun. But honestly, skip the first 2 puzzle packs. I think you'd need some serious brain damage not to finish the first 120 puzzles in a second or two each. That sounds a little pretentious and believe me I'm a little embarrassed to write it but it's true. It's painfully easy, and I even skipped the tutorial. I love this game, but if you're just getting into it play the tutorial and skip the first 120 puzzles
Very interesting - took a while to become challenging, but now that it is, it's an incredible mindbender! Update 8th April '22 Major gripe: being told I'm not online when I am. Therefore game refuses to give me second turn at daily challenge(s). This happened just a moment ago - if I weren't online, writing this review would not be possible! Sort this out! It's f*#king frustrating!
