Just downloaded this app . Did this according to the lottery website. Nothing comes up, just blank screens on EVERYTHING.
Downloaded app.....shows only white screen and can't navigate to another page.
Downloaded the new app...and it's just a white screen. Should had just left the old app alone!
The app work perfect on my other LG phone but for some reason it won't load on this LG phone.

Update: ok people at first I complained just like everybody else about it not scanning tickets anymore. So what I did was there's another kind of barcode looking thing above the bottom bar code, scan that and it worked it's just above the numbers that you have to log in manually on your ticket. I would give it 5 stars if I didn't have to manually login everytime I open the app
This is a great concept/idea, however I do feel as though it should have been in QA until it was more bug free. I'm dealing with an issue where I launch the app, and a white screen just appears. Hopefully, this is something on the host side of this application, however it would really be nice to have this fixed as I just purchased my Samsung Galaxy S6, and the app worked fine for all of maybe 2 weeks, and now I'm unable to scan from my phone due getting a white screen.
Apps need to be able to save your login, otherwise it's more convenient to just use the mobile website. On Winners > Game History, date picker doesn't work for filtering. I don't understand why most recent results are sorted to the bottom. If I get an email saying that a subscription entry just won, I want to be able to find out what won quickly, not page through multiple pages (why even bother with pagination - I can scroll quickly)
When I try to scan a Draw Ticket, there is a red cross that flashes, then nothing happens - no matter how close or far away the place the code in the screen. It does nothing. Droid Ultra user. Update - I apparently have some older tickets that don't have the newer barcode. The tickets that do have the proper barcode scanned perfectly! - mdm
Love scanning, no issues at all. I was on a roll of entering saved tickets because hated entering manually. Little did I realize there is a daily limit of 75 points...so I lost at least or more than 75 additional points. Thank goodness I saw the limit before scanning anymore!! My only dislike, otherwise would have rated 5!
At first it was great to be able to scan in tickets and enter additional contests. For the past month the app isn't accepting any scanned entries and malfunctions after I attempt to scan a ticket. I have contacted the NC Education Lottery and the customer support for the app which neither has taken the time to address the issue. Looking at past reviews it seems as is the problem isn't new. Please remedy this issue!!!
I want to rate this app highly but it seems really buggy. I tried to use the lottery purchase feature to no avail because its locating feature can't tell that I am actually in North Carolina. The scanner works most of the time, but there was a day when it refused to function for unknown reasons. And most recently I go to look at the winners of the drawings using the "view" button and nothing happens. I have used this feature in the past and it worked fine. What gives??? Thus my title: INCONSISTENT
I've lowered my rating because having to log in each and every time is really annoying. At least give us the option to save login data. Scanner works, even in low light. Make it remember user and password and will update to five stars.
The scan option will not come up. Unfortunately, this was the main reason I wanted to try the app. when contacting support they only reply with canned responses instead of acknowledging the information that was sent or that there is a known issue.
I love the concept, but...while scanning tickets, once i scan 1 & hit "Scan Another Ticket" to move to the next, the scanning screen shows up black with just the red scanning cross in it..so then I have to hit Cancel just to get out and hit "Scan a Ticket" again! EVERY. TIME. I thought that the point of having the "Scan Another Ticket" button was so we could continuously scan, but why have it if I have to repeatedly exit the scanning screen and start all over after each ticket??
I like the ability to scan in tickets. Could be my phone, but when I elect to scan another ticket, I get a black screen which I cancel and then I have to select scan again to get the scan view. Update 7/10/2016: The aforementioned problem disappeared with an upgrade from Photon Q to the S7. Thus, and otherwise site is a 5.
It wont let me sign in they don't have a help e mail or number to contact if all their "help" suggestions don't work and it absolutely wont allow you to sign in until that confirmation email is sent. Can not use this if I can not get in......Up date...i emailed the developer down below and it finally gave me my e mail. Now it works.
Does what it says on the tin, but I've seen it toss up some odd errors that suggests it's just a front end for your browser.
It was great at first for almost a year, now i get the white screen everyone else seems to be getting....typical stateys, the more people who complajn the less they do....NC State Gov motto:HURRY UP AND WAIT PEOPLE! They have been doing the exact same thing to our teachers when they ask about the money from the "edjucation lotory" as the kids still use text books from the 90's.....LOL xD
It's just all that a app should be and more can't get enough of it I give it 5 stars 6 of I could I encourage everybody to have this app
I like this app. I don't have to do a lot to it. sometimes you have to update it but its still fine. It shows me the winning number and you can also use your debit card to purchase your number.
Didn't work good with my old phone cause it didn't give me the option to turn a light on but my new phone does and it works great now but you must have a light to scan
app won't load on my new phone! used to love the app and use it all the time. It shows the option to scan tickets but the rest of the screen is white and doesn't do anything when u click in it. fix the problem and you will get 5 stars.
