finished quality is poor. The effects are clear but photo and text in the uploaded photo are rendered flat and fuzzy. A great way to add something fun though. Very easy to use. If they bumped up the quality of the finished image (as it looked when uploading) this would be great. It also doesn't save exactly where you put the effect. I have to do it maybe 3 or 4 times because it always save the effect above where I put it.
3/16/19 nice app. great animation. I did buy the pro version. I can only have 2 animations so far on one image. it would be nice to have a text box option. 7/20/19 not sure why this app is 2.76G. it just keeps getting bigger and hate that i can't store it on my sd card like my other apps. they really need to fix the search part of this because every time it starts you back at the beginning of all the options and it is so time-consuming to do that.
Exceptional App. Easy to use. Sure, you pay extra but nothing is free. Yes, they do add additional effects. Only problem I have is some of the effects don't necessarily stay squared on say people's faces. Bit of playing around but nothing major. Maybe a little glitch that could be looked into. Please keep adding more effects. I'm hoping that in the future you are able to add more than just 2 effects.
This app is horrible. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for taking people's money. I remembered that I loved the quality of it when it was offered for free, so I looked it up again and downloaded it. I bought an effect for a photo and what I saved is not what you get as an end result. The position changes. I did it several times and still.. way off! I want my money back. The app is an incomplete piece of junk!! Go back to the drawing board before you offer effects that need purchase
the picture adjustments are great and I would rate them with 5 stars, but the application is more often than not stopping and crashing.... so cannot really use it. Also if I manage to open picture and apply the "tricks" after I save it it is misplaced on the picture:-( So basically I have heard about it amazing things, spend money on it but cannot really use it which is pretty upsetting.
Free version is too limited to evaluate. There are maybe 10-15 free filters but they're so buried in with paid stuff finding them is extremely frustrating. The paid ones are each a 1$ usually. The menus are clunky and confusing (buttons overlap in one place). There is a 10$ pro purchase but i cant find anywhere that explains what you get with that. There's no way to stack effects or mask them. The daily push notifications have convinced me to uninstall. It has potential.
A year later and still no improvement. There are zero effects that you can add for free, they make you pay .99 everytime you want to add an effect. You have to crop ypur picture to a square, so you have an umage that is much smaller than ypu want. Wont try this app again. They should say something to people, so they know ahead of time that this isnt a free version. Most apps at least have limited functions for free.
they offer good effects. and the effects are rather great! something worth using instead of always going online. problem is... NOTHING is free so I don't even know if ANY of it is trustworthy. how am I supposed to know its good and viable for editing if I cant even try anything? at least offer some samples first. instantly uninstalled, there are better things I could be paying for. (EDIT) Okay, some things are free, but the ones that are free is not really what I want.
i had this app many moons back & it was totally free with great styles to choose from. for free. i just downloaded it & you have to pay for everything! sorry but i'll create my own edits that look good without having to pay ¢99 for each filter. waste of time. change it back to free (most at least) & i will gladly give 5 stars.
I found this app to be totally useless! there is no effects that you can trial on your photo you want to use? everything has to be purchased before you can supposedly use them?? no ability to change to video or edit. not able to find lumyer pro of which by the looks of your reviews is worse! i am not sure what edition my trainer is user but it is nothing like what you are installing now her main screen has lots of editting buttons for text etc. extremely disappointed
I actually installed the app for the "white-smoke" effect I saw in a Youtube video. I wanted to use it for a cup of coffee / tea, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't find the effect. It is very difficult to find what you need as the app does not have a search field option. Navigation is not intuitive.
I used this app for about two years, it WAS great and I had good use from it. Now after an update it won't open at all so I've lost all the effects that I purchased. Apparently my phone is no longer supported which is odd because other than Lumyer it works perfectly. Not impressed.
I love it, the effects are amazing but it's too expensive to buy all the effects! There should be a one off price or they should be cheaper for each set! Quality wise though I love it, I use it for my business and it takes my photos to the next level.
Could have rated 5 star but it still needs some major improvement... 1) the app is too slow 2) the cropping feature shouldn't b there, so that a full selfie can be used for editing 3) one major issue with the app is the downloading & selection of a AR... Once U download or select a AR & go back to choose or saarch more options, it takes u back to the start of the gallery. Eg. I'm on the end of the scrolled gallery to the right most & I come out of a album, it takes me back to the first album...
Oh my God this app is a nightmare, it took me twenty attempts to start the app without it crashing (it literally WOULDN'T STOP CRASHING) and once I was in there and finally able to use it guess what!? within a minute it did it again, either way for what I saw its not worth the time effects and stickers are completely UNREALISTIC and on top of everything you have to BUY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM
App no longer works on my android. Switched over to another phone and now want to charge for every effect that I try to use. Already paid one time and downloaded all...now can't even use the ones that I previously downloaded. Developer now trying to RIP people off. Was a great app, now not good at all. 🙄🤔🤨🙄😯 Still not working. Customer contact, re-installed, updated and still not working. 11/30/2021
I totally love this app. So easy to use, and unbelievable images can be created with ease. I definitely recommend if you want something a bit different for your Social Media posts, Instagram Reels , tiktok or YouTube shorts.
I used to absolutely love this app on my iPhone but it doesn't work very well on my android phone. The main problem is that I position the effect where I want it on the editing screen but when I save it the effect appears below where I wanted it to be, meaning the only way to create the effect I want is to guess where the effect needs to be on the edit screen for it to be correctly positioned on the finished photo. It makes the app unusable.
So I thought this was an app where you import or take an photo and edit it so I imported a photo then I pressed save but it said you have to have a filter first I wanted to animate without a filter!only 2 of them where free the rest if the filters costed money.then when I presse it wouldn't let me animate!its more like a photo editor than a photo animator. Please fix these things
HEY TECH DEPARTMENT!! I have used this app for some time now within the restrictions you have set.... (meaning there is no choice but to crop photos to your specs, I cant use more than 2 effects even though I have paid for almost all of them and you claim 3 are possible), and I still enjoy using the app. However, the app is now "unavailable" when I try to use. I have a brand new Samsung Note phone, I have uninstalled the app several times and reinstalled. What is the problem??
WORST app EVERRRRR!!!!! THEY do NOT fix ANYTHING! Example " Sorry We're working on vertical ratio improvements. We'll be back soon" Do you KNOW how long they have not had the VERTICAL usage? Not all photos are SQUARE...well that broken issue has been like that for MONTHS. AND they don't answer questions about WHY one doesn't have the pen function. They are just taking money and not delivering as promised. I may contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU cause this is not right.
I had gotten this app for my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note8 and I was NOT pleased when I found that there were ONLY maybe 8 or so free effects!!!! The description of the app makes it sound as if there are PLENTY of free effects and such BUT... THERE ARE NOT!!!! Soooo... I WILL NOT BE PAYING .99¢ FOR EACH EXTRA ONE I'D LIKE TO HAVE AND USE WHEN PHOTO LAB PICTURE EDITOR BY VicMan LLC HAS MAAANNNYYYY THAT ARE FREE THAT ARE FABULOUS AND MANY I CAN PURCHASE IF I CHOOSE!!!! THANKS BUT NO THANKS!!!!!
Overpriced!!! I've looked at the App and some are good but I think that it's effects are overpriced and not worth it . maybe you should give the option to buy and choose from any of them and give the customers a reduced price for a bulk by of 10 which would be more appealing to them!!!
Could not even download. It wants all permissions on phone. I gave what it needed but would not download without access to the pictures and record on microphone. I never use the live camera or microphone on my animation creations and I have other apps that allow you to download with just denying those permissions. Tried several ines would not download just a blank screen
When it opens its fantastic, but mostly the app freezes. I have uninstalled and installed again to no avail. I have purchased several fx features and have used or not used yet only to be prompted to purchase again. Frustrated and disappointed is the result of this app.
Just blank screen. After they asked permission to access my data (what data, btw, it is very unclear. I get it that you need access to my photo and video, but it juat stated "data" so I assume it can be anything) and the app told me that they downloaded som stuffs like sky or something. Just don't download it.
I had this app a good while ago and recently downloaded it to my new phone. Its changed so much and not for the better. They have made it so hard to find the free effects and it was so simple before. I thought I had it sussed the other day and I go back in and it seems to be back to square one!!! I feel they have done this so that you'll buy more which is fair enough from their stand point but why is it so difficult to navigate. It's like a maze. I wouldn't recommend this app at all now.
I paid for the watermark to be removed because I do love the program and wanted to support. I used to get a lot of the effects included but now all of the ones I used to use I can no longer use anymore because now they cost money. All the new effects should cost money (you are in the business of making money so I get it) but not the ones that I used prior. It's like I'm being locked out of a program I paid for 🤦🏾♀️
The app offers a great selection of FX. I rate two stars for 2 reasons: 1) when you start the app for the first time, the loading screen appears to freeze. In fact, the app is working just fine: it's downloading the handful of FX that ARE actually free. My problem is, it doesn't warn you, it doesn't ask for permission. It just does it. And if you are not on WiFi, it means it will eat your mobile data. Annoying start. 2) there's a smorgasbord of FX, but <10 are free. Sorry, no deal.
