If you're looking for a very good posing app to draw characters from, this is the one. With effort, you can easily pose anyone however you want with accurate proportions and details. The colour presets and shadows make it easy to colour and shade from with much less guess work. I recommend this to anyone who is beginning to draw for a hobby or commissions. There is a feature I'd like to see in the future. A means to edit the proportions of the models individually.
Definitely helpful if you're using for art references, however you have to pay for things which isn't a huge issue but it's kinda a bummer. When you try to scale something it only moves by x-axis even when if you try messing with the other axis. And lastly I wish there was an easier way to position fingers for hand poses, but other then that it's great
Stopped working all of a sudden, sadly :(. I used this app all the time, uploaded a few poses, and used a lot of poses, I'm now no longer able to see other poses made by others, it constantly says, "unable to download. Check your internet connections and try again.", And I can't do anything about it, I'm on a stable Internet connection as well, Hopefully this gets fixed!
It has no way to lock something in or together so since you use touch for almost everything, you go to adjust the screen or zoom out and will grab something and move or distort it making it very frustrating. Other than that, and the fact that you have to spend money to clothe them and theres an option to wear underwear is kind of suspect, I think it's a great app! Thanks.
Overall great app. A variety of models, objects, and clothing to bring scenes to life even if some are locked behind inapp currency which can be gained via a check in system. I unfortunately have a problem suddenly. I cant check the pose cloud, nor restore any possible purchases I would have made. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as cleared the catche but nothing works.
The posing controls are really good and intuitive. This is countered by terrible camera controls and object selection. It's easy to inadvertently move objects when trying to rotate the camera. Would be nice to have a pose mode and camera mode to solve this issue. A list of objects would also be nice to make object selection easier and to provide a way to make some objects unselectable.
Excellent at allowing me to have a general idea of a pose in which i can incorporate my own style and dynamic into. Not to mention easy posing and it comes with a range of presets. It's the perfect app for dynamic poses. Maybe not the best for drawing over, but that doesn't bother me as I don't draw over. Still an overall 5 star for great performance!
Wonderful for artists! It helps with pose references, lighting, and more! You can make whole scenes with multiple characters. You can access the workshop where other people post their work, it's great! I just wish there were more body types to choose from, but it's not a terrible selection!
Wonderful! My experience on this app is wonderful, that's why I rate it 5 stars, because I can try pose and make poses then save it, and there are some free stuffs too, and I didn't problem getting wombat coins, but there is some problems; I wish I can change expressions because it will look more good!, and more features like backgrounds so it will look good, and I wish there was a way to create clothes too!, but overall still 5 stars! I love this app ❤️
This is really great if you do this style of art, or just need a GENERAL reference. I wish they had more realistic body types and options other than just the anime style and basic body. I think it would be perfect if we could adjust the figure ourselves and make it what we want and then pose it. But still helpful
With the exception of a few minor bugs, this is an amazing reference tool for both novice and veteran artists. The only thing to keep in mind is so SAVE YOUR SCENES, especially if you're working with intricate poses (hands grasping objects, etc) The clothing and hair options are limited for some models, but the fidelity you get posing and lighting in a free app is incredible. I've got $30 in digital content, and I still do most of my work with the free models. Bar-none, this is an essential.
Easy to pick up, but there doesnt seem to be an option to lock anything which makes it frustrating to use. Get something perfectly aligned in the hand and need the adjust it and youre moving everything instead of just locking the item (s) to the hand, and moving them as one unit, like with the fingers to the hand. This makes a simple adjustment take much much longer. Needs a way to parent or lock certain aspects like above, or just certain rotations and pieces from being changed at all
This is honestly a really good app and helps me with poses for my sketches but I hate how most of the good stuff cost coins. Not to mention you barely get coins, you can only get them through checking in and it doesn't show up you just have to remind yourself to check in so you might forget to and won't get the coins that day. I'm not sure if you can get coins any other way but that's the only way I've seen. Other than that this is very helpful and I enjoy it!
It's very good overall but my problem is the body motion sensitivity, whenever I move the legs and especially the hips, the character distorts very loosely and the flow is a bit unstable for my liking. I wish there was a easier way to find and edit fingers individually, I took me like an hour to figure out how to move the fingers. And finally is resetting poses ( I don't know if it's there or I haven't looked properly).
A little hard to use at first, but I understand more and more I use it. Also, people struggling to use hands, click and highlight the whole body, then in the list of the options click the 'hand' icon. That will open the points of movement of the hands regardless of what model you have open. I hoped this helped someone :).
This app is a must have for artists, especially those who are still trying to get a feel for the human body and how it moves. You can create your own custom poses, and while they do not have a ton of body-kun/chan figures, they have basic figures that are pretty easy to manipulate. The addition of light to get an idea of shading is a godsend. Most any part of the figure can be moved, turned, rotated, and more. All in all, a great download.
First off, I wanna say that this an amazing tool. However, I'm currently having an issue where I go to look at the pose menu to see all the poses and scenes people have done, and it tells me I have a bad connection. I can still search and find things, but not in the actual categories. If there's a fix, please let me know! Other than that, I use this app every single day, it is so incredibly helpful. Please, keep up the great work, and I hope to see some new features!
For whatever reason, the entire app is busted. Half the time the app crashes when I open it, he public works page isn't loading (I'm aware posecloud is down for review, but the issue is much worse than that), I can barely access my own poses, and god forbid I try to buy anything with my coins- the app just crashes. I have no idea what happened, but it's made the app basically unusable. In the past though, it's been a very good pose app and I reccomend it after whatever is happening gets fixed
The coin system is strange, and it is a bit difficult to make the actor do something very precisely sometimes, and I wish the actor select options worked a little differently. But it is a good tool and it doesn't have ads. Would recommend for artists.
HIGHLY generous supply of assets. Unfortunately, no ads for coins, and i would do ads for coins if i only got ONE coin per add!! This app is THAT good! I wish we were given a set amount of coins to buy items with, (just enough to buy the same amount of pre-provided assets or three less) even if no ads allowed. I want certain models and don't need certain models and I would be happy if i could choose.
