The free version has lots of features. Select the banner ads option. The ads are hardly noticable. Not sure why someone would pay for the paid version. This magnifier really does work. I didnt check out the microscope feature. Coin collectors, I was having difficulty distinguishing D's and P's mint on circ coins. Hold your phone about 6 inches above coins. Tap volume control bar. Walla! No need for an expensive mag glass. This app has way more features than I would ever need. Has light, too!

This is a great app I use it quite a bit. But it could use a little instruction or maybe some quick hints on how to focus in on subject. I was thinking that placing a small i next to the different ways one could magnify. When clicking on the i, it will give a quick hint on how that specific slider or gadget works best to ones advantage. Still learning, but I'd recommend the app.

Fantastic App for viewing fine prints on documents or contacts, even for ladies or men when doing sewing and you need to tread that cotton through the eyelid of the needle. Noticed the micro small writing on food containers and boxes and very difficult to read. Well, not anymore with this app in your hand, and, it even has a camera function so you can take a snap to review it for later on. For people who love viewing insects and butterflies, this App a also has a Microscope view. Check it out.

#1 app. There are 2 worthwhile in the same category. Both best 99% of any paid apps for magnifying/photography. I rotate between them depending on my needs Mostly I use for rocks, ancient artifacts/tools+fossils. I also use for looking at skin, hair and bone. Without a microscope there's nothing! Top 1/2 in magnifying with photo abilities. It's a model for Google's Cam to aspire to as Pixel App makes the Camera actually worse. I use for many photo opts. Allow users to CTR is my only advice.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything great due to the fact that most of these types of apps don't work. So I was pleasantly surprised and excited to have found one that actually magnifies. Although, ×4 is a bit rough to get used to and it doesn't have a whole lot of setting choices. But it's filters are neat, and it actually works lol.

Very useful. I use this when I have small writing to read, for example the tiny print on some instruction manuals, or medicine ingredients/dosage. It's great for those of us with failing eyesight. It's easy to use, just aim it at what you want to look at zoom in and out to focus, perfect.

This app is top knotch. I tried this app because I'm getting into microsoldering electronics. I have purchased all the equipment to do it. However the microscope I ordered turned out to be on back order for a month. This app will work as good as your camera phone is I tried it on an 8mp and it looked good. I used my 64mp camera and wow. The detail of very very small components came out and made an impossible task possible. There are adds but they are not intrusive to using the app. A++++

I am very happy with this app very user-friendly it has features you didn't expect to get the other site don't have this when your magnifying your subject you can turn on a microscope at the same time and enhance that even better, it has Auto focusing which is great you can move your subject come back in and it will automatically Focus that picture for you, need to come check this app out I think you'll really like it.

I have used several different magnifying apps over the years, always with some annoying problem that made me dread having to use it, but certain any replacement would only be worse. Miraculously, while restoring my phone, I stumbled across the Magnifier & Microscope (Cozy). It is the best, and last Magnifier I will ever use. Thank you.

Ok this is the first and only magnifier app I've used, but I can't imagine needing more features or performance. To start with, it makes a printed page look bright and crisp even in dim lighting, without using the phone's LED. You adjust magnification, it autofocuses, and you're reading! (Or viewing whatever you point at.) You can freeze the screen image, change its colors, brightness, exposure, and contrast, capture and save it, share it, review previous captures.... and probably more.

The best magnifier I have ever downloaded. Easy to use. Always in focus. The invert color option allows you to see objects in a different way, brings out things you may have otherwise missed. The freeze option allows you to view the picture then you can download it. The microscope allows you to observe objects in great detail without distortion. Thank you for this app

Can't see how anyone could give this app less than five stars? So much better then I thought it would be and does a lot more than I thought it would! If you need a magnifier (microscope) and filly adjustable, with light for subject, brightness adjustable, subject photo and save, plus more, this is the balls. A good camera on your device makes a difference, for me it's not intrusive in any way. Great job developers! Just what I've been looking for. 🤩

Really useful app. Have used this to see tiny print on little drill bits, looking for splinters in my fingers and checking the solder joints on printed circuit boards. Has a light, photo mode and can switch from magnifier to microscope with various power adjustments on both. A must have app for me especially now that I'm getting older and the eyes aren't what they used to be. Fun too for the kids to look at bugs and such. And the ads are not annoying like some apps can have.

Tried many of the top-ranked "Free" Mag apps, and all (really) of the paid ones that had a free version, and THIS is the BEST one. Many of the others are copies of themselves under 3 different names; same for the paid apps, a few are the same under different names. And almost all have the same bug: They increase screen brightness to MAX and do NOT return it to what it was when you exit the app. Cozy Mag has no such issue, you can pick the brightness, and it returns correctly to what it was when you exit. And the Mag Level slider is custom - not the standard Material Design slider with the tiny tiny blue dot that you cannot for the life of you "grab" and move; no such problem with Cozy Mag. Has all the features of the best Mag apps, like Freeze and Color Adjustments. Even has an unusual one: Exposure (suggest you leave that alone, or you will not be able to put it back to 50% exactly.) Free version lets you pick a banner Ad at the bottom or a full-screen Ad when the app starts. I just purchased the pro version.

This app provides many levels of magnification and lighting options. Even after taking a picture, you can apply different filters and different magnification levels. It really gives the ability to get a detailed look at whatever your shooting. I'm definitely buying the professional version. The only thing bad about the free version is that it takes a lot of time in between each picture or I'd give it 5 stars.

I like how it lightens the image and I can have a functional magnifying glass ready on my smartphone. But I don't like having to watch an ad or two for who knows how long before I can make quick use like when in a store. It would be better to have ads optional in the margins or something. It also works sort of as a telescope but time delays mean lost photos.

Love it. Am still figuring it out but the option to photograph the enhanced image is super cool. Keep up the good work. I've been in Arizona and have gotten some cool rocks. What a great application to not only check em out but also send pics home. Plus theres a certain almost negative print but it's real cool and I may use it for an album cover for my band. We'll see.

Mic. B. Dec 2, 2020

It has more controls than the 1st magnifier I tried, but it's not as useful as it could be with a rotatable ruler one could be position where needed (better: click 2 points on ruler to get a copy-able number). The 1st-time query asking one to choose between banner ads or startup ads must be answered "blind", since one has no idea what either will look like without first trying them. Adding a button to the question to let one preview examples would allow one to feel confidence in one's choice.

As a scientist I use both the magnification and the microscope. The magnification for reading the small print on labels (things they don't want you to see). The microscope for looking at textures. Saves me from carrying around equipment when I go out. Using the is very straight forward, picture is clear.

Please add gestures. Tapping an icon then changing the setting is slow and awkward compared to using simple gestures like swiping one way to magnify/zoom and another to adjust brightness. Holding down on the screen to freeze the picture and tap to auto focus. Others do this but this one does not. If it wasn't for this issue it would be the best magnifier of all.

Instead of needing glasses or having a tiny mag. glass hang off ur key ring, it's a win win. The app opens right up to it, even tho u can get similar results using the camera, this takes less steps and I forget to delete the pic out of camera roll ...so it becomes a "whole" other chore just deleting unnecessary photos.

Great app for super close up electronic repairs...IF....if you have the following: A large screen A stable, movable stand or support I for your phone or android device. A strong battery because it works best with the light from camera on. And a steady hand for use in super magnification! All that said it's a great app. Has worked for me to successfully see CPU pins on a motherboard to align them after misuse. And to take puctures during the procedure. Although only at camera resolutions.

Nice first experience. I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a go. I'm impressed with it after trying it out once and will definitely use it more when I get into better light. I usually use a 10x hand lens from university in the 1990s but these have much more in the way of versatility. So now I carry both to suit my needs. Like a map and compass and countless other things that used to quickly fill all of pockets. Good job, Dev's; keep up the good work. Bring on some more cool stuff.

This app is pperfect. Best part it's Free thanks creators of cozy magnifying.I recommend this app to anyone looking for some extra magnification. This app is easy to use. I have tried many free magnifying apps for years and in my opinion this is by far the best one. It's super simple and has not let me down yet. It doesn't glitch or stall or pause for ads it's perfect DOWNLOAD IT AND GIVE IT A LOOK. DON'T WASTE TIME LOOKING any further I am a real person just giving my honest opinion

This app is so cool - loaded it on both my bf's & my phone. Its very easy but requires a steady hand or a base, tripod or something stable for viewing or photographing really close-up. Bf made a hands free device from a block of styrofoam by just cutting 2 slits on top to hold the phone. We like looking at close-ups of different places on our body.😁 Or playing a game to see if the other person can guess the picture! Think cherry poptarts! Ooh! 🤤 Having a blast with this app! So fun! Thank you!

Amy. C. Jan 20, 2020

Changed my rating 3 to a 5! Due to the help of the developer of app, I was able 2 fix my zoom issue. Works GREAT! There are ads but this is the 1st time i have ever seen it ask if i want a banner ad or a start up ad! That is A HUGE plus! If imma be forced to watch ads cuz the developers are forced to put them there (Hey we get it free, hence the ads.) Then having a choice of how they appear is a wonderful convenience! Ty so much i love this app! (I hate doing reviews but u guys did a great job!

Okay i needed to play a bit with this but got it working perfectly as a macro camera for close up on the fly product photos. It does the job well, but I did discover i needed a tripod for it to focus faster and for more intense closeups. I'll take some more photos to test it before i decide to purchase the app or not.
