Magnifier & Microscope+ [Cozy]

Tried many of the top-ranked "Free" Mag apps, and all (really) of the paid ones that had a free version, and THIS is the BEST one. Many of the others are copies of themselves under 3 different names; same for the paid apps, a few are the same under different names. And almost all have the same bug: They increase screen brightness to MAX and do NOT return it to what it was when you exit the app. Cozy Mag has no such issue, you can pick the brightness, and it returns correctly to what it was when you exit. And the Mag Level slider is custom - not the standard Material Design slider with the tiny tiny blue dot that you cannot for the life of you "grab" and move; no such problem with Cozy Mag. Has all the features of the best Mag apps, like Freeze and Color Adjustments. Even has an unusual one: Exposure (suggest you leave that alone, or you will not be able to put it back to 50% exactly.) Oh, and it saves the pictures in a folder inside DCIM, unlike some others that dump their pictures outside of the image gallery. 5/5.

Easy to use, enables a 6X magnification. The Freeze feature allows the object to be viewed without holding my phone over the object. Works as a telescope too. However, if there were a 'Steady-Cam' stabiliser the frozen image would be less blurry. I have yet to try it out on my Compact Oxford English Dictionary as I am away on holiday, if it is able to resolve the microscopic print then I would urge the developers to have a QR code included with the next COED edition (or form an affiliate relationship of some sort). Good luck, a neat app to have.

I tried a number of magnifier apps, but this one has proven the best so far. It is reliable and has the critical freeze button as well as the ability to use the flash while magnifying. I use it to get the small serial number label information off of the back of computers that are typically at an odd angle. I'm very pleased.

Works well for me. I sometimes take notes from reference books and even newspaper ads and brochures of interest, and this gets sharp clear photos of type as well as other objects, and I can see the sharpness of the object when I tap rhe snowflake. If it is right, I tap the download button and that saves the picture. No guessing and suprises when I look it up 2 days and 500 miles away.

This is the greatest fun I've had with an app in a long while. The app works quite well and it is multifunctional, not just a magnifying glass. I was playing around, using the "microscope" feature for about an hour when I first opened the app. Great job! But as a reviewer stated, an image stabilizer would be appreciated.

I love this app! Like a powerful macro lens on your phone. Obviously not the same quality as a professional macro lens, but for free and in your phone, I can't complain, it's great! Has excellent detail capture! Like all macros, it requires a steady hand. Puts the pics into a new Cozy album within the pictures app (on Android anyway). And can switch from about 10x to about 30x magnification, highly recommended if you are into macro photography, or if you just want a closer look at what's around!

This app is perhaps my most valued. I've used it for years and I use it frequently. I minored in microscopy and histology. No this is not a microscope but for someone like me who continues to look at minutia it's a hobbyists friend. I am hoping this app will continue to be upgraded and perfected. I would like to see a verbal trigger to snap a photo rather than needing touch. Under high magnification any touch blurs the picture.

I absolutely LOVE this app. At 1st I would use it if I was tryin to read something ans didn't have my glasses close by. Being a coin & dollar collector. You need to have a good quality microscope to be able to see all of the details. You can also photograph whatever it is your working on. I would have given a 5 Star but what kept me from doing so is the lack of the Anti-Shake option. So if your working without a tripod, your work will not be tack sharp.

This app is the best, from using it as a flash light to looking at things very very close up and clear. In fact it works so well just when you press the button for a photo you cant press too hard and cause it to shake. I make sure this is one app i keep from phone to phone. Also i payed once and i cant transfer it without paying again.👍👍

This app makes your camera have a SUPER ZOOM feature (using the microscope button) it allows those of us with eyesight that is a bit lacking, allows us to read all of the fine print on anything! Normal camera zoom is around 4.8% , the Microscope option cranks that up to 19.2%!!! Amazing quality and ability! Must Have for Macro Photography at Super quality!

I've used this app for a little over a year. It's top notch. I paid for premium however and I had it until i switched phones. Not sure why it didn't transfer to the new phone as premium. The app itself works great!

At first I was skeptical about this app, thinking that this app wasn't what I hoped or what I was looking for, but it exceeds everything I thought or even hoped it would be. It magnifies beyond what some apps do,it does microscope,flashlight,you can snap pictures and magnify up to 20X if you use the microscope icon. Very useful!!! Highly recommend and for $2 it's a really good app.

This app is incredible, I use it on a note10+5g and get up to 30× zoom with well respectable clarity. Not perfect, a little noisy, but compared to the standard camera app its a huge improvement and it also allows you to use the flash as constant illumination, i couldn't do half fine wiring i do without it or a quite expensive microscope!

Having problem with the upgraded version. Everytime I open the app...the old unpaid version opens up. Then I have to click on upgrade tab to go to playstore and open the app from there. Its a long and annoying process. Should open directly to the paid version. Also, pictures are still grainy and not very clear. Bad decision to purchase the app.

I don't need this often, but when I do it is invaluable. All the manual options to get the magnified image just right, including color, inversion, and flashlight control. No ads means your screen is just for the image. Absolutely worth it!

By far the best magnifier I have found and I have tried them all. One thing I have an issue with is where controls are located. Frustrating as heck trying to capture images and hold phone. Better placement of controls 5 stars all the way.

I wouldn't be without this magnifier app! It is So effective and efficient creating stunning images, while zooming in far beyond what my modern phone camera can achieve...and performs with consistently excellent clarity. I paid for the pro version long ago and glad for it! My hat's off to the developers!!!

I have used many magnifying apps over 30 that I can count and this one by far has been the best I don't like the ad at the beginning since I did pay for it but it only occurs once and it's not a problem and this app is amazing in the way that it magnifies and I like that if you kill the app it doesn't leave the light on I can't think of any changes I would make except get rid of the adds

Love this app. Maybe love it too much as I find myself magnifying anything & everything. It's not always pleasant to see, lol. Maybe we aren't meant to see the tiniest little things on a whim? Idk but it's too late for me. Zoomer Beware. This app WORKS & it's easy to use. Useful tools incl. I paid the $1.99 after using free several months as a nod & courtesy to the developer. The ads are non-intrusive if you're just wanting to test it. Works great on both Galaxies S9+ & Note10+.

I don't like that this app puts its icon PERMANENTLY in my notification bar, even when its notifications are blocked. Please fix!!!!.....(Edit follows): The developer kindly responded to an email. Turns out the notification problem was not caused by Cozy, but another app, which I uninstalled. My apologies. Five stars!

In my opinion this app is very poor quality. It magnifies things, but the magnified image is so blurry you can't identify what you're looking at. The camera on my phone can zoom to 10x. Since my phone has a really good camera and ultra high-def-resolution, 10x produces a VERY large and crystal clear image, even at maximum magnification. I uninstalled this app, got a refund, and have gone back to using my camera as a magnifier when needed.

I love the app. The perfect companion for reading resistor codes or tiny low-contrast lables. Its additional options (zoom/magnification level, color inversion, lighting switch, et cet.) are utterly useful. The icon design looks a bit cheapo and would enjoy an updrade, I guess.

Excellent app. Been a happy user for a while, however it is unable to use my phone's macro lens. The regular lens is all it uses and it is hard to focus on nearby objects. The macro lens is clearer and easy to focus nearby. Hopefully the app gets updated with the ability to use other lenses.

Focus after zoom in is not visible. I have yet to figure out how to take more than 1 photo without exit and restart of the app. lots of good features but no mouse overs to get you going.

spent hours researching microscopes to be able to read IC chips and other small components was about to spend between 100 and 300 dollars and take a chance on the quality of picture production. Decided to check out play store and found this. This app does the majority of what I need. The angles need to be adjusted sometimes to read numbers, but then I decided to sleep on it and brought test piece and camera to bed and started shooting in the dark and the results were 100 x better.
