This is now the app on my phone that has not got an update in the longest time. 4 years without a update, I'm uninstalling it. One should bump target API and build tools once a while at least, both for performance and security.
Basically working terminal. The favourite command editor is a bit clunky but essential for avoiding the on screen keyboard.
Like that you can save often used words as favourites. Saves time. Cutting two stars because sometimes it just loads without giving option to type anything. Frustrating
Blocks Gboard's suggestion/controls bar. Missing option for ignoring the back button. "Word mode" restores the Gboard bar but changes input text color to black on black.
Can't stop pinging! I run the ping command. How do I type ctrl+c to stop it? 1. Go to favorites, type ctrl+c, click on it, it only lets me edit. 2. Go to special keys. Ok, volume down is ctrl. Vol down+c. Nothing. 3. ok under the hamburger menu i can execute comands i typed. Selecting ctrl+c types a literal "ctrl+c" instead of issuing the command. 4. Reset terminal. Does nothing, still pinging. 5. Go to the apps list and close terminal. Has it stopped pinging? No. I open the app and it's still pinging again.
Hard to find what is the equivalent to apt or apt-get. ping6 is slow. haven't been able to use the shortcuts for doing ctrl commands. For what I'm able to do, it works well, but some stuff are missing to really consider it a workhouse terminal.
This app is amazing. I will note that it does not work on Chromebooks, so you must install it on a tablet. My only issue is that on my tablet, the clear command does not exist.
you've done the imposible, you made the ugliest computer interface ever to exist look good. I've never donated to an app dev before, but you made me change that today, nice job and keep up the good work.
BEST hands down. Has a history which is so helpful. It's fast and easy to exit your windows. Highly recommend this app.
Very convinient and useful. After a bit of training, I'm almost as fast as using desktop terminal.
Similar to the jackpal emulator but if the current directory is /sdcard the ls command gives "Permission denied". With jackpal emulator the ls command lists the contents of the directory. Android 8 A52DL phone.
Everything I asked for and easy to use. Much easier for you rooted android user who need a terminal to run your magisk modules.
this terminal emulator work the first time moving the contents of One Directory to another directory after hours of trying to get another app to work this one got it in one go happy camper :-)
Installed on ASUS ME301T Android 4.2.1 . Excellent and very usefull app, especially the multi-window feature.
The console hides my commands once I I press space, I don't think it would be useful for Git. Otherwise untested, so you should try it out yourself.
Loved the look, but the special keys dont work. Also, after a reboot, I couldnt open any terminal windows.
They say you can't polish a turd, but this guy sure did a great job of making a terminal look great. Keep up the good work.
Please add the custom font option, after i changed the font on my device and the app doesn't use monospace font anymore.
Doesn't work correctly, constantly left with a keyboard displayed and no cursor to type with.
Can't get the special key to works. Tested on several devices and rom.
Your app is so fanatastic. I moved your app to my system! Because it was so helpful and android needs command line. Thank you. And thank you very much you haven't ads. Very thanks.
I cannot run any commands because on the keyboard there is no enter key, instead it is a search key which does nothing.
Not updated since 2016; volume down modifier doesn't work
I've never gotten special keys to work but everything else is fantastic.
This need an update asap. Not working properly on Android 10
Should improve the app by adding features like keyboard with ctrl, tab, etc
Simple and can reall your imputs at a swipe from the side.
Does what it's designed to do with a nice and clean UI.
I love the clean interface, but there are few aspects that bother me a lot: 1. unmaintained for too long (yeah, if it works don't fix it, but software must keep up with current needs), and, branching from the previous: 2. lack of history purging. Not happy with that AT ALL.
