This app has great promise, but it far to difficult to set up and keep working properly. I will update my review if the issues raised here are addressed. The valuable features are all part of the paid "Gold" tier. That's fine, but the payment and referral processes are misleading and cumbersome. I used my referral code for a free month trial, could not activate my trial without supplying payment information. The Google pay option generated an "An external error occurred." message, with no explanation. Entering a Citibank Mastercard number caused the app to hang. So there was no way to subscribe. Even if it had taken my method, it charges you today for the remaining 11 months if you chose the annual plan--forcing you to the much more expensive per-month "monthly plan" to enjoy your free trial. Bottom line: I'd love to try the Gold tier of the app, but the signup process was in my case both broken and misleading
Disappointed because the app won't even open. I click on the app and it does nothing. Was really looking forward to using this app. Have deleted and reinstalled 5 times with no success. I will try again in a couple months, and hopefully it will work.
Could be great. Been looking for what this app COULD provide. UI is great. Unfortunately, can't go a day without a problem with this app. The features would be awesome if it ever worked all at once. Consistently fails to update on half of the accounts, which it seems to choose at random, even after verification. Now it won't sync any account at all. Tried deleting and reading the accounts with no success even when the status icons are green. Been holding out hoping but near cancelling.
Can't give it any stars as I only downloaded the app and started the "process"... but I stopped when it asks for your usernames and passwords for each card..... I just can't see doing that. In theory it seems like a good app, the things it provides, but not trusting to give some other company unfettered access to usernames and passwords.
I'm impressed with the detail each card has, trackers, categories, and card comparison. All free tools! For me trusting a free app with your personal finances can be unsettling. I'd like to know how my data is secured/used before committing everything. That said, you don't have to log into your bank(s). You can simply 'add a card' to use the card compare tool.
Should probably give lower star score but let's see in a few months. App does not properly working, lots of IT issues. Very disappointed, doesn't auto sync most of the time, not always accurate with certain % of rewards in certain places. Premium features which is gold membership for money is okay to pay when app functions are working properly. Let's see in a few months if any progress will be made.
I just downloaded program, just crashes before it opens. Hello support? Still 2 weeks later 5-31-2022, still crashes when you try and open with an android phone.
Before signing up, I wanted to see what the terms of use and privacy policy were. They both show up as blank, which is pretty bad.
App crashes & looses ability to sync accounts - not sure why. Support is nowhere to be found on wkends😐
Everyone should have this! Its been very easy to keep track of my credit cards all in one place and its secure. I can check my rewards, credit limits, usage etc. This App is amazing. Try it out!
So much potential. Love what it is supposed to do, but it keeps losing connection with BofA, Capital One, and Chase. Those are some pretty major banks to con lose functionality on. Fairly useless as a result. I hope they fix it soon!
Even the free version is good enough and saves me time to manually check all my credit card balances. For the premium version, you pay what you think its worth it with a minimum which is nice.
I like the aspect that tells you which card is best for which category, but 9 times out of 10 whenever I sync my cards it requests me to reauthorize all of them. Going through this for 5 different cards Everytime I want to update information is taxing and I'd rather just open up all 5 separate card apps since they won't require me to verify my identity with my phone number 5 times in a row every single time I'd like to see my balance.
This app crashes a lot. Unable to add every account I have which defeats the purpose in having this app.
Free version upgraded now, shows cards' temporary offers and deals. Venmo is also listed, which is awesome. One doesn't have to connect bank accounts, only credit cards. So far, it's awesome.
This app has saved me lots of money by automatically opting in to my credit card rewards. It's also great at putting all my credit info on one place so I can keep track of everything at once.
Horrible app. Everyday you have to sync your cards. Always a issue. Aways needs you to log in each card all the time. Can't even cancel subscription And can't get ahold of them via email.
Installed, tried to open, and it immediately crashed with no error message.
Most of my cards I couldn't add, either errors when I tried linking or not a option at all... And when did add a account a few weeks later they unsynced and had to re sync
Full stop when asked for log ins. This app is way to new and unknown to entrust the keys to the kingdom. If they partner with a bank I might return but you're just begging to have everything compromised by one bad actor.
4 credit cards arent available to add-- kinda defeats the purpose to keep track in one place. They are the 4 I need to keep an eye on balances & bonus categories. :(
I added a couple of my cards and Discover immediately warned me that my account was accessed from the Dominican Republic, and is now requiring me to set travel dates to keep using my card. I'm in the US and not on a VPN. What is this app doing with my banking credentials that triggers logins from outside the country?
Meh, has potential. The app interface is cumbersome, home screen non customizable. Over use of referrals. At this time, not for me.
As a seasoned rewards credit card user, this is exactly the app that I've been looking for. It consolidates all linked cards and shows all sorts of information including card utilization, payment due dates, best card to use, offers and as of the last update, card benefits. The only complaint is that the connection to Chase has been hit or miss, and has been giving error messages when trying to reconnect. Citi and Amex don't seem to have the same sync issues. Hoping this issue can be addressed.
Updated: I ended up canceling my subscription. It feels like the app us still in beta and hasn't Really been QA'd properly. I like the idea of tracking my rewards and having the best card suggested to me based on location and the category. In some ways the app performs really well, but I have a few issues with it. - Sync isn't working well - even though I keep hitting the "Sync" button, and the app is telling me that the data has been sync'd, I still only see the transactions from 3 days ago.
Buggy and freezes a lot. I'm able to connect my accounts, but now it isn't letting me remove any of them (which is super annoying as the app created duplicates of several cards). App also doesn't allow the "sign-up bonus tracker" to be hidden (it's completely useless because I'm well past that period with all of my cards) -- yet it takes up a lot of prime screen real estate. Love the app's concept, design and features -- but its bugginess makes it unusable.
Completely Disappointing I don't understand how this is touted as some great app. I've had difficulty with syncing since I downloaded it. I check back every so often to see if it's been remedied, but it never works better. Like, stop sending push notifications for the premium version if the basic one doesn't even work properly.
Does exactly what it says, it allows you to keep track of all the reward categories available on your cards. During the pandemic a lot of things changed (i.e. some cards included Groceries for travel rewards) and keeping track of the frequent changes was difficult until I found this app. What I love the most is that you can change the valuation of the points so that you get personalized suggestions.
Update 10/28: I was finally able to start my account. Unfortunately it's not what I was looking for. This looks geared towards churners and people who just need some uncommon recommendations. It didn't seem to give a solid roadmap as most of my "matches" were airline cards that I won't use beyond the sign up bonus, even when I said I don't spend much on travel Original: Won't even sign up. The app crashes after the first tap
Update 3: once again the app crashes before opening. So much potential if the app wasn't riddled with bugs. review after android issue: I've been using MaxRewards for the past 3 months and it has proved to be an excellent tool for tracking purposes, such as due dates, rewards, sign up bonuses, etc. If you enjoy optimizing credit cards for points, miles, and benefits, then I highly recommend MaxRewards. 5 stars!
