measureQuick HVAC

The app works great on my old tablet. However my fieldpiece probes don't show up when I try to add them to the app on my Google Pixel 4. And I can't find any solution to the issue. I'd rather use my phone to get my readings, rather than having to carry my tablet around with me. If there was a way to make it work that would be fantastic. (Update) after messing with every setting imaginable, I finally got everything to work on my Pixel 4 XL

I've been a HVAC tech for 24 years and this app is amazing!!!! Connects and works very smooth with my Feildpeice Joblink probes. MeasureQuick has so many more features than the actual feildpeice app which was very slow and lagged alot. I deleted the feildpeice app and only use MeasureQuick now. I can not wait to buy more tools that will connect with this app like the redfish multimeter and the testo bluetooth manometer for static pressure testing in conjunction with the joblink probes.

I love the app concept in general. Seems to work great for the a/c side of things, though i wish i could find info on how it does some of the calculations like estimated airflow. Currently i have trouble getting my bluflame analyzer to connect and when it does the app doesn't transfer any of the numbers.

For some reason, app gets caught in infinite "checking for updates" loops. And if an update comes out, it tries to push it before you can get into the app. Super frustrating to throw on bluetooth gauges in front of a customer and fiddle for 25 minutes trying to get a reading, looking like an idiot. Update: deleted, re-download app. Same thing. Why would a freshly downloaded version still be force updating and stuck in update? App flat out is broken currently. (Samsung s20 Ultra - AT&T)

Can't register, can't sign in, keeps giving an error message. Can't use the app at all. Shouldn't have to register or sign in to be able to use. Uninstalled. Reinstalled and entered in information yet again. Connected to WiFi so there's no internet connection issues. Still giving the same error message and still can't use the app. Uninstalled again. Nice try MQ but it's a no from me.

So much for measuring quick. The process to set up and get this app working is long and arduous. It does not work with testo 550s so don't waste your time if that's what you are using. They have a video of pairing with a 557s but 550s does not work the same way. I have spent at least an hour trying to figure this out. So much for quick.

As a fairly new tech in the field this app has been a huge source of knowledge. I, like many other techs, just got thrown into the field with a lack of fantastic training. This app has really propelled me into being a better tech. I'm very confidant in my diagnosis and I feel great about the solutions I offer to customers. I'm working on management at my company to make the app a standards for all of our techs.

Question. I was using this at school and there was no target high side pressure for the things we were working on. The little triangle that shows what the pressure should be. It was there for low side. But not high side? I'm assuming it's something I am doing.

Update: Thank you for the quick response and clarification. Look forward to learning with your app. In videos it appeared that this app could be a great learning as well as diagnostic tool. As a DIY guy currently, possibly looking at HVAC as a second career I was looking forward to downloading only to find in their terms of use, non-techs are not welcome. A poor policy, but one I will abide by. Guess students in trade schools aren't welcome either according to their terms. Too bad.

Literally locked out of the app due to software gore. Upon attempting to create an account through the app interface it shows a prompt stating that a field was left unfilled. All fields were filled. This app is unusable until this issue is resolved

I absolutely love this set it really helps me with the home warranty companies it does a whole lot of information and one screenshot however I am having some problems with someone please get in contact with me cuz I can't get my probes to come back on the screen the Bluetooth setting on my phone does not see the tool box anymore it's like I can't get them to attach back to my phone by Bluetooth

There's no reason this app shouldn't be 5 stars. There's a little bit of a learning curve but the feature set, tool integration and absolute utility for HVACR techs is unparalleled.

Another great app to link up to the smart probes. As with the Testo app itself...please make it available on the Microsoft store so it can be used on the Surface Pro

Works with testo smartprobes but only gives a 1 time measurement. Does not give live information that changes in real time. Would be nice if the new fieldpiece 480s were compatible

Does good with fieldpiece probes. Unfortunately it will not connect to the new 480s. Other than that it does fine.

I've been using this for a while now and its awesome. It works great as a trainer for green hires or even showing me something I wouldn't normally think about during a service call. It's a great tool to have on a truck.

I like the app. but is there a way i can record the graphs? Also, i am using my manifold for a lot of refrigeration applications such as parallel. multiple circuit connections would be great.

Unusable, caught in an error loop at sign-up. Says it can't log me in after registration, to go back to log in screen. Then log-in screen doesn't recognize me.

Just got fieldpiece smart probes, can use fieldpiece app to use them, was hoping to try measure quick but for some reason even with all probes on, I cannot find them when I search for new tools

Great app .. makes it you can link different brands of tools together.. Just need a multiple equipment option under the project button ..

Will you be adding the options to use this for refrigeration systems anytime in the near future? Perhaps you might recommend an alternative version that has that function?

Excellent app when used properly. Must have good tools for collecting accurate field data. Sound understanding of HVAC/Electrical principles are needed to comprehend and assess.

I needed to use it, and it spent two hours checking for updates. The software developers need to keep in mind that this is a tool, and needs to work regardless of any stupid updates.

This app has saved me so much time and helped me diagnose problems I might have missed otherwise. The reports generated really impressed my employer.

Can't use app. Installed multiple times and finally got to my profile but can't go any further. Worked great until the update
