Media Converter

On the technical side, it worked fine (.wma to .ogg), but on the UX one, the UI is such an unintuitive mess that it took me quite some time to figure out which icons to click after selecting my files. Trust me, I'm an engineer :P Still, it worked for me so it was worth wasting some time in the end

It used to be really good. I used it to convert all my music to a m4a for my device because it worked out really well. But for the last month (As of April 23rd, 2019), it refuses to trim audio files. I have files that have up to, but not limited in excess to, 10 seconds of silence. I need to trim that. And I have not been able to. Frankly, I'm very disappointed. It used to work so well! What happened!? Had I written a review before this issue, I would have rated the app 5/5. Right now, I'm only giving it a 2, because it still works, it still converts filetypes, but it doesn't trim audio/video for me anymore, like it used to.

I would've rate 5 stars for previous version. This update makes the App worse. After deleting a completed task, the App closes suddenly. This was not experienced in the previous version. please do something about it. Also you cannot convert a file from half way to the end. If you make range from a point to the end of the file, it will convert the full length which wasn't so in the previous version.

Problem when using dark theme. Unable to see options on the right side. On the the left side options are faint and do not contrast well. Needs a little work. Have yet to complete a conversion. Would be nice to have the ability to select target audience and quality. I do an expert mode will investigate whether this has the option.

Previously, this Media Converter works pretty well and don't worry about GUI. But now, it not working like before. I have video want to convert. So I pressed the convert button and the converter didn't run and it show "Convert finished. Click to watch" in notification and the queue screen it say "0 B" and I play it, it didn't work. So please fix this. Thank you

music quality is everything to me and I wanted to convert some mp3's to flac to see if i could get a better output quality and this app proved itself up to the task. There was a vast improvement in the sound quality. although I had to use my file browser to create a folder for each album converted as it didnt keep it that way. I also had to convert the file extension to .flac so that Poweramp would recognize it in the scan for music folders. But the nuts and bolts of it were flalless 👍

Can barely even multitask. i have to open my screen for 30 minutes in the app for it to convert into an mp4 file. otherwise if i just leave it in recents it's just gonna lose progress. same thing even if i just turn it off, it's annoying. plus the theme of the app looks like it's been made a decade ago. it probably was i won't bother to check though.

Works great. Make sure to go into settings first and change the output path, as the default writes to a folder you usually can't access without root. Also download the ScanMediaPlease app because this one doesn't trigger a media scan after creating the file, which makes you think they're not there

The user interface is ugly and clumsy, and I wish there was a pro version without ads... but hey, it's the only converter I've found so far that properly converts local M3U8 containers to a single MP4 file with the original parameters and without shuffling the TS fragments. This deserves 4 stars.

Its really work. I have this m3u8 files for 2 hour long. Its need 40min to convert to mp4. But sadly i have to repeat 4 times to have mp4 file, I dont know its bugs or what but converting to mp4 its really painfully using the apps.

Very clunky app. Unresponsive at times, seems to get stuck in certain menu sections. Then, couldn't find the converted help in the file system. Uninstalled.

Excellent conversion app. After trying several of them, this is the only one I would consider "professional" quality. I can choose from a number of export formats, bit rates, change output path, and even do batch conversion. Great work!

Unable to convert one video format to another. My real intention was to reduce the size of the video captured on my Android phone camera but it will just indicate "conversion finished", and you'll get a zero byte output file. I'm converting an mp4(h264) file. Tried all possible conversion formats. The only one with result was when I converted to mp3 (audio only).

Getting from bad to worst. previously u can choose where to trim the video. after a few updates, no matter what time u choose, it will always convert everything.

I'm disappointed. Whenever I cut the music clip as limiting duration but it wasn't successfully cutted. A song that I've limited the duration to convert stays in an original duration. I hope in the next update will be fixed it and I'll set again this app into 5 stars.

Great FLAC converter, works fast and has a good amount of options. UI could use improving, but it does what it says and I haven't found a free alternative with close to as many settings to choose from (but it's simple to use without messing around with extra stuff too)

Whoah, I don't know about why it has one star or two star reviews but from my experience this app truly deserve a five star. If you're looking for an app that can convert .m3u8 file extension to .mp4 this is the right app for you and after converting it can be found in your phone's android data, look for media converter folder. Just downloaded it and I am so happy it worked for me😊 So easy to use just click convert to mp4, wait a few minutes and ta-da!Thank you very much for developing this app

It's a perfect and handy app for video conversion. Just love it. I had an m3u8 download video file, and I was worried that I won't be able to watch it on my local media player, thanks to this app, I converted the whole video into mp4, and it works perfect.

does its job aside from the many many many issues it has... it puts files being converted on bottom of list, you cant scroll to bottom of list cuz page refreshes every second which prevents you from checking progress, pausing or canceling a conversion. Clearing list deletes converted file unless you move file first. cant run multiple conversions on same file at same time, so if tou want a MP3 file in 40000hz and in 48000hz you have to do them 1 at a time.

The app is great for file conversation, good UI, quick and easy. Only problem is source file and destination have to be on the installed drive. Which limits the amount of files or the size of rendering on mobile device. Very good though !!!

The only problems are that you can't scroll the list when it is working, it bumps you back to the top instantly. It also won't keep your place when you are browsing folders. Makes it hard if you have a lot of folders.

Ok, didn't try converting, doesn't show my file! I used ClearRecord, saved as AAC. Used Switch, but didn't want pay for Pro as I feel coercion to limit output to MP3 and choose other and ad for Pro. Also, incredibly slow MP3 conversion, my Pentium MMX 200 Mhz take as long. So I thought this seemed awesome, and maybe it is with non AAC source. Had to add acc (audio/aac) to types, does it have AAC support? Also, the UI was very confusing, especially directory browsers. Figured by trial&error.

Well. I was looking for ways to convert mp4 video to any format that my samsung dvd player could read via usb. Tried on few apps but the video were corrupted when played. Not until i tried this apps and it works! Thank you. Just convert mp4 to mpeg and then transfer it to pendrive and im all good with it the dvd player can play the video

Yeah. This didn't work. Like, not at all. Very disappointed, despite that it was FREE. Why don't these apps come with INSTRUCTIONS????? Once my file had been "CONVERTED," it went nowhere. No folder, no downloads... Nothing. I am so over the digital age.

Nice App. Very handy for managing media files. One thing tho; it seems to ignore start time editing in Expert Mode. You set it, and it still starts from the beginning of the captured file..... Please fix this!!🙏
