Brought to you by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., Meeting Guide is a free of charge app that provides meeting information from A.A. service entities in an easy-to-access format.
Over 100,000 A.A. meetings are currently listed. The information is refreshed twice daily by relaying meeting information from more than 300 A.A. service entities; area, district, intergroup/central offices and international General Service Office websites (some of which are listed on (A.A. Near You).

Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. respects your privacy.
• If you choose to share your location with the app, your geographic coordinates will be transmitted, so that we can provide you the list of meetings near you when you are actively using the app.
• If you choose not to share your location, you can still find meetings by entering a location in the search bar, in which case you will receive a list of meetings near the location you entered.
•You can change your option for sharing location data by going into your Settings Privacy Location on iOS, or long-pressing the app and going to App Info > Permissions on Android.
•The app does not keep your geolocation or search information.
•Your IP address, searches, and other usage information are collected by Matomo analytics, but only to generate aggregate data to help us improve the app.
•There is no ad-tracking on this app.

So simple to use. It sorts meetings by time and distance from gps location, so you can find the most practical results first. Links seamlessly with Google Maps to get you there.
This app is great! Really helps find meetings around anyone's schedule so you can keep the commitment going.
Easy to use, just have tp keep at it. It wont take long before it is second nature. I have only been using the app for a couple of weeks but I already find it neccesary.
Great app to have if your looking for a meeting. Also explains what kind of group, location which fellowship represents.
Overall this app has been very helpful. Its search options have improved. I think a few recent negative reviews are because of confusion how to change preferred settings. For example if you want to search for meeting in a town you are not in, change "current location" to city of choice after tapping search (the location is below the search bar at least it is on Android app v3.0.28). To see week list instead of 1 day change filter to Any Day, then you can scroll thru whole week.
Not as good as the central office guide online or in print guide.. But as always, it's more convenient to just tap and look. Depends on what you seek..It's hard to prove to app fans that the old way is more thorough. I handle 2 central offices.. Volunteers aren't always reliable.. But a hard copy physical meeting guide is just cooler..
The new version broke the calendar function, so i went to apkpure to get the previous version. We'll get this one day at a time.
Wouldn't ever open on my phone. It sounds good in concept though.
It is useful sometimes, but since the pandemic started, a year and a half ago, it has been a roll of the dice as to whether the meetings actually exist or not. So many times I have driven to a location only to find there is no meeting. I had this problem in metro Atlanta and now in metro Nashville.They aren't being updated. Also, many times there is no information as to where inside the building, church, etc. to go. No contact info to verify either.
This app is easy to use and an essential tool to my sobriety. I would love it if it were possible to "favorite" a location, in addition to being able to favorite a particular meeting. It would be useful to be able to filter the list by favorite locations, instead of scrolling and scanning.
I had this app on my phone for years.I accidentally deleted it deleting some old files and when I reinstalled it it cannot find locationthe location it just spins and spins and spins. Nothing has changed on my phone as far as the location permissions the app just is not loading correctly. I have Wi-Fi and I have data it's not either of those issues.
I just started attending AA meetings a couple of weeks ago. This app really helps. As another person mentioned, it would be awesome if it also told us which building and entrance, etc. (i.e., a church with multiple buildings on the property), where to park, and direct contact info if needed. All in all, good app.
3/9/21 - it appears the bugs have been worked out and it was nice to get an update from the developer to try it again. I love this app when it works properly! I've been trying to use this app for 3 days without success. The "stability" in this app was supposedly fixed. I uninstalled and reinstalled just 2 minutes ago and still not working. I've used it before with no issues.
This is a perfect marriage between technology and up-to-date information related to finding relevant meetings or any meetings for that matter in a specific area. It is user-friendly, concise and affords the user the ability to set favorite meetings among some other features. This is a wonderful app to have in general and an even better tool to use on the go. Noone can say they "couldn't find a meeting" if they have this in their arsenal of self-help apps!
Has almost every meeting all over the city. 99% of the time the meaningless are accurate and on point. They also have Incorporated zoom meetings as well very helpful and it's not only for alcoholics Anonymous but for all the anonymous programs it allows you to search date time zip code City very specific very helpful.
Update: Great work, the easiest and most reliable way to stay connected and share the program. Serenity, service, not self. Blessings. Still useless app; it's been over a week and this is not fixed. Really???? This is NOT helping to carry the message to those in need. When it works it's great. Update: Glad to see the application is running again, why it took so long for it to work again is a mystery. Thank you for keeping it going.
Loved it since it came out. Newcomers can't say they didn't have a where & When. So handy when I'm traveling!
It's not correctly latching on to my GPS signal ....... Still says I'm in Portland, when I've been in Salem 5 weeks now
Sober 32 years. The availability of this app is great. Thank you AA W.S. ! Ive had a couple probs - loading time & crashes. Called the NY office to share & ALL were related to my phone, not the app. Space & phone memory. Once I installed SD card, no problems. Discouraging reading the few criticisms. Then I remembered: probably from alcoholics w/"contempt prior to investigation". If I were sponsoring them, Id suggest they get some gratitude for this 100% FREE app designed & made by volunteers.
One of the best apps ever made, get local meetings and times and for the areas around you!!
Great interface, very usable and intuitive. Helps me get to meetings, and the Reflections "quotes" part is an added bonus. I find areas that DON'T use this app (cough cough, Kern County) need to get with the program (no pun intended.) Seriously though, superb app.
Great app, but the accuracy depends on your local area. I don't know how they get information to the app but I guess it's up to your local intergroup or larger region to make sure the info is up to date. Other than that the app itself is super functional and easy to use!
I like this app pretty well except that the two meetings I attend aren't listed. I can find them in the Area 22 website's meeting guide but they don't show up in this app. Also it would be a huge bonus to have a distance filter added to narrow results. I'm usually looking for a meeting no more than 10-15 miles from my location. I would appreciate some help getting the two meetings listed on this app.
This App is great! Install it on your phone and allow location sync and it shows you meeting in your area, a schedule for the day and time. I was visiting in another state when I found out about this App and it saved me from picking-up. Great tool and I'm passing the word here in SC.
Useful for sure, but suffers frequent outages and doesn't allow filtering of meetings by distance. That said, I'm incredibly grateful for this app as it has allowed me to find many meetings in my area, both in person and remote.
The best AA meeting app. Much better than the old paper listings because this guide is always up to date. So much better than the old paper listings: more information, always up to date, easier to correct, easier to find (you always have your phone).
This app is a true lifesaver! Strange place, need a meeting? Boom, meeting app will tell you how far away, directions. I like that now there is a daily meditation link. Only drawback is that not all major metro areas are on board with listings........yet.
I have REALLY enjoyed this app. However, I am having the same issue as Frederick noted below. It will not load the meeting information. I just emailed their support address. This is a wonderful app that really helped me when I was a newcomer and I now show it to every meeting newcomer that I meet. I hope it is fixed soon. My rating will be 5 stars when it is fixed.
Exactly what it says it is and it's amazing at it. Also it's free and add free. Or if it wasn't as free it was really cheap too upgrade, don't remember. Kept up to date with meeting closures during the quarantine. Wish it included meetings for other fellowships too, CA, CMA, MA etc.
App is not properly updating all meetings. App is not updating meetings on Samsung Galaxy S20 phones. On Galaxy S10+ phones App has to be removed and reinstalled before it properly displays all meetings. Several of my friends are having the same issue. App developer needs to corre t this issue as soon as possible please.
