I LOVE it. At first the advertisements were annoying. But after purchasing for ad free it was great. If you buy ad free and still get adds, unstall then reinstall, and they should go away. At least it worked for me. And check it out, Messenger Facebook-139 MB, Facebook-466 MB, Messenger Lite-1.75. A lot less space and just as good as Facebook & Messenger. No, the lot less space makes it better.

It's simple and light. Use for facebook but not messenger What led me to uninstall it is that navigating throught conversations is pretty slow. No scrolling, only "next page" buttons. I also can't see photos like in the screenshots. Not sure if they are outdated, the app is in development or my tablet is just incompatible

Excellent alternative to storage hogging Messenger Facebook tries to mandate people to use just to check their messages when denied via browser. Can't go wrong with this - installs with only a few megabytes, works wonderfully to check and reply to messages, simple, easy to navigate, overall interface well designed!

I was so pleased to have found a good alternative to the bloated Messenger app but that was short lived as this app is complete unusable since the tiny text box is completely covered by an ad that you can't get rid of, making typing anything impossible. Pointless app, got rid.

I would have given it 5 stars but I don't know what you did but the layout changes that happened this weekend are horrible. I like to scroll through the stories not have to wait and load more every few post then not be able to go back. Please change it back

Annoying adverts pop up every time you are typing, so you cant even see what you are doing. Then once you finish the darn thing, it takes you to yet another ad, and makes you watch it. I understand advertising is needed for free apps, but when it interferes with the main function of the app in a significant way, that is what makes a bad app.

The new design is absolutely garbage. Revert back to how it was before, it wasn't pretty but it was usable. Now it's both ugly and useless.

Pops up an ad every time you switch between the feed and the messenger. On top of that, I downloaded this hoping it'd be a MESSENGER replacement, I'm not trying to replace the Facebook app because I don't use it. Misleading.

It would be great if the adds from Google didn't cover up my typing view box. It's constant , it won't go away, and it covers every word. Annoying ! And why can't I have an option to delete old archived messages? It has messages as far back as 10 years ago. Fix these issues and I'll give 5 stars.

This is a pretty good app. If the adds annoy you, just pay the nominal fee for ad-free and should be cool. Like it a lot so far. Love how little memory it take up. That was a big draw for me.

It's a little inconvenient having to log in into my fb account in order to use this app.

Seems like a decent app but would not let me take/add a photo to post on my wall. Like they forgot to program that button. Uninstalled.

its nice, but sometimes some apps, if they update, cant open. but anyway this is good for now.

Had to return after discovering that notifications are either all on, or all off. Can't turn off notifications for Facebook notifications, but continue to receive Facebook message notifications, taking app all the way from potentially-amazing down to pointless or disruptive.

Adverts lag even my S7 whilst using it... Every time it reloads a new advert, it will cause the entire phone to hang for several seconds.

Love the things the app let's you do, and appreciate the'lite' application. Would be nice to save photos & videos. Would be nice to make messenger phone calls & video calls. I'm still learning the app, but I'm really pleased with it's capabilities so far. Good job!

I hate too many ads. I can't see anything properly.

Too much junk. Not really interested in folks knowing color of my scivvie if you get the drift.

It works, but sometimes the ADs covers up the area you get to type in. It hard to type a message in with stubby fingers and you keep hitting the AD. Just deleted the official Facebook app in order to use this lightweight (in memory used) app to access Facebook.

It does the job. It usually would scroll all the way up when you exit a post. Otherwise, a generally good app. Certainly good for the space it takes up, which is less than 15 megabytes.

Would be great if ads didn't block part of the app! Try to message someone and it blocks u from seeing last line of message... Needs improvement/fixed.

To do the Copy option on in-app messenger is impossible! Can't even forward a message!

Great app Messenger and Facebook in one It save our MB as well as space also Really fantastic.

Notifications RE-notify me of same notification about every 2mins until I click or check it when connected to WiFi. VERY ANNPOYING! Messenger part won't load either. I'm using a RCA tablet with great WiFi conn.
