Mi Remote controller for TV/AC

Its not working. First your remote stops working. I googled for solution, it suggested to download the app and use the app as remote. I followed, but the app is not moving ahead from the first page. Its not searching for anything. The stick and my mobile are in the same wifi network, the stick is working via chrome cast. But the app and remote are not.

UI Is clean and simple, no annoying ads whatsoever, it works most of the time, overall it's good, but sometimes, some buttons won't work correctly and it can't be fixed. And now im facing issues with LG TV where the input is being registered twice when i press a button. Please fix it ASAP, Thanks

I have a Philips TV at home which was working perfectly on my Redmi Note 7. After switching to a 10 Pro and receiving the latest update of this app the configuration has disappeared and I can't control my TV anymore. I tried to re-add it to my Redmi Note 7 as well but after receiving the update on that phone too, it stopped working. My actual remote is long gone so currently I can't use my TV at all. Very frustrating, once present TV config is now gone from the app.

The app is good, you need to upgrade the app to some smart boxes, Chinese satellite, set top box, FTA ( Free To Air decoder) is mainly use around the world particularly in Africa as well. the likes of DigiSat, Q-box and more. there are names of tvs also which the app has, but the Mi Remote app can't respond to those product the likes of NU-TEC tv and others. I like you use app. It's ads free and supports almost all kind of devices. But I really wish if you add option to configure button using inferred. While configuration, you just select the the category of device, select button which you want to configure and press from physical remote.. So we don't need worry about remotes

Earlier the app used to function properly but few days back it has started malfunctioning. It is unable to pair with any of the device. It's showing error. I have re-installed and tried again but there is no change either.

Very bad app! Bcoz it have a lot of bugs and also some keys does not work properly ... Like if i try to press 4 key it does work , not only many other key,s does not work properly ......, I got a very bad exp. With this application and i recomended all do not install this app. Untill they fixed their bugs !

They delete devices that are still in use. With previous install on my old phone,I could use many more devices like my Hisense TV, a receiver... ++ Not any more. PLEASE: Bring them back. Add a way to program from the original remote control. Add a way to keep, export and import device's setup info.

This stupid, where the hell is the old Sony TV remote with back button? All the 5 options for the Sony TV remotedon't have it like it used to. The old setup from my other phones have it. Why the hell would you remove the options of the complete functions for certain Sony TV? You guys are making app the worse.

Pathetic App.. I've purchased the Redmi phone due to availability of the IR Blaster as I required it. This app doesn't even support my Dishtv HD Box/ Panasonic 55 inch 4k tv. Even, it also don't have learn function?? Which is truly surprising. My old phone Huawei Honor View 10 was way better in handling the IR Blaster (it had Learn Function for unsupported remotes. it was 4 yrs old). Now you're making me feel like I have chosen the wrong phone 😕😐

Doesn't work with many of my devices that supported older versions . Such an option should be given so that the buttons of the remote can be changed among themselves. Because the name of the button is different and that function is different.

Latest app version makes touble taps when trying to manually input a tv channel. E.g. press "1" makes "11". Still the same! Not fixed after the last update few days ago! Ruined the app! No changes with the new version. Again.

Older versions worked correctly with LG TVs and the PocoF3. Now it's doubling button presses, has less remote codes and less options, making it almost unusable entirely.

It used to work fine, but now it only works with very limited options even on TV where it previously had full functionality. Tested on several phones with the same result

It's was working very well. To be honest it was the best app for all the MI products. But I don't why it has been 3 4 months this app is not working. It doesn't list any mi products though they are connected in same WiFi. Please fix this App, it would be great help for all other MI product fans.

I've been using this app for years since my Mi A1 device. But now on my Poco X3 Pro and Poco X3 NFC, this feature is not working at all. Even on my TV and AC on which I had been using this remote for years. Completely useless App for me now.

Nice app!! It works great with IR. I have used it for many TV, AC and settop boxes. It works great. My only concern is it's remote function sometimes provide only basic features. Like for my hot and cold AC, it controls only temp. I cannot change modes in it. But it's good for what it provides and I think it best suited for TVs.

Doesn't work at all. It says the device will be detected if on the same wifi. My Mibox 3 is on the same wifi as my phone and I chromecast to it. But this app doesn't detect it at all.

Incompatible with 95% devices. Earlier MiRemote use to be one stop solution, but now it can't even detect Mi products as well let alone other brands. Very disappointed, now I am using third party IR remote apps. I have multiple Mi phone problem in all of them.

It used to work. But for the last year even after updates it will not detect the mii box. Not sure if it's because I have Google fiber or if it's the update. I have the Galaxy S9 Plus. But it will not work anymore

Easy connection, more than 1 meter distances, user friendly interface. Most importantly no such ads. Keep it up.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD No option for home theater.. Only volume and on/off no sound, pictures options, just few simple buttons.. there are other free remote apps with more advanced future...

I can't give the app 5 stars because it only works as a volume. If the developer needs my 5 stars he/she must add more buttons on the app to make it to work 95% as the original remote control.

All IR remotes are not working properly and also there is no option to add required selecting options. Eg. SCV set top box remote and setting option for Mi TV remote not at all there.

This is the best remote app I've ever use. I have struggled so much to find a remote app without ads. That's the one. The only thing is that the smart box remote doesn't have numbers. I cannot change channel to a particular number. There are like 200 channels and having to push up and down to change channel is quite annoying.

It has no additional smart features for Android TVs. And now it's not even detecting my android TV. It just remains on the page which says 'connect your phone and TV.....blah...same network...blah...blah...' and that's it. Doesn't matter how many times I try to reconnect or reboot, nothing works. It's a shame that one and only app you have to control your device won't work at all.

I give this app 5 stars. It's very useful. As a short feedback, the app has an issue where it skips channels. It jumps 2 channels when I press either the up or down channel button and the same happens with the volume button. Updating the app to the latest version did not fixed that issue. There is no fix to this on the web neither. It would be great an update that solves this. Anyways the app is quite good.

Good app, works well with most appliances k use used in my area. I could imagine that this app may be problematic in other countries but I have only used this in my current country, where all the brands seem to match up well. There are some minor translation errors in the app. But that is to be expected as this is a Chinese app intended for use in China.
