This app does not support streaming since the discontinuation of Groove Music Pass. Any playlists/songs you add to your account do not show up in you library.
Come on how many ways do we need 4 us older foks. Think KISS programs 2 many menus & submenus, no thanks. If your that smart then group them to complete task in one c kick or two.
awesome app, can play downloaded songs easily. way more user friendly than spotify. don't have to pay to play songs offline, either.
I still have this installed despite the app being reduced to a "Go Away" sign because even /that/ is better local playback than Spotify.
I miss Grove, it was the best. The interface, the recommendations... RIP
Please don't delete this app from store just make it offline music player. This Will help you take feedback
Why doesn't it support casting?! Key feature for any Android entertainment app. Can't recommend.
Please reinstate this app. I loved it so much on W10M...
It was good while it lasted
It don't work for a long of time.
Seems they're killing the app off -_- Cloudplayer by double twist can do onedrive playback. Orig review: while it works great for playing your music off your onedrive, it's lacking a key feature. It needs to allow us to set artist artworkt. They also need to set it to read album art from files that don't have it set as "front cover".
I like the convenience of playing songs from onedrive but since they are killing off the app I might as well delete it now. Microsoft did this with the Kinect also. Really annoying. Might as well boycott Microsoft because they never have a good reason for discontinuing their products.
The poorest music app got poorer yet when MSFT canned their service. Sad & pathetic - deleted.
It wouldnt let me ad music to my playlist or anything and whatever I looked up it says "sorry couldn't find that"
It is appalling that Microsoft is abandoning this app on android after December 1, 2018. Give me a break! Why? It works fine, what is the problem to keep updated? I uploaded all my songs from Groove on my PC with the Google music manager to Google Play. I'm uninstalling Groove from now, good riddance Microsoft!
I downloaded this app because I was able to stream all the music I have stored in my OneDrive fluidly. Now it's going to be shut down this coming December 2018. Tragic.
Poor news to hear the app will be discontinued 1st December, could have at least dropped support but kept the app up for those of us who use it for onedrive integration, nothing else can do that, thanks MS
I wont recommend this on Android. The Windows Phone version is fundamentally different and much better. You are literally better off with Google Play Music on Android. Or, if you actually care about audio quality; NeutronMP!
Please don't discontinue this! I use Samsung galaxy s2 and it is the best music player/music streamer. It is the lightest I have seen
It's good to be able to play music from my computer and save space on phone. I like it. Simple yet useful. I don't want to see this service leave for mobile phones. :(
A shame to see Microsoft concede and give up support of this app come December. Cloudplay is an app available which syncs to your onedrive allowing you to play your files. It also plays flac and alac files and attaches album art. Takes ages to sync but works well when it has.
App will be discontinued from Dec. Great move morons! I will be soon stop using One Drive. Why does it want to update from inside the app and not from Google play store? Why "Shuffle all" in same colour, font and size as "Songs".
Please, please add support for SD cards. I would love to use this app over Google's but all of my music is stored locally - I never stream.
Decent music player thanks. Just need to upgrade my headphones to some rig 800s and I'll be golden👍👍
Nothing close to the Win10 / W10M app. I have tried it on and off for the last few months and no matter what I do, there is no way for me to get it to find any songs on my device, regardless if they're on the internal or SD. That alone renders the app useless. Now they're going to kill off the app in Dec. Somehow I am not surprised.
I really enjoyed this app and used it across multiple devices... Uploaded my music to onedrive and paid for the storage. Decent app and worked well for streaming local and online music. I cannot see why Ms are killing, sorry retiring this app. Just leave the thing. If you don't want to keep updating it on the store, fine, leave it but don't force me to remove it from MY device
