This is the best for people with a SD card and move alot of folders/files around.Select the "show two windows after run" in settings and your good to go.Its an excellent folder/file manager.Easy to use and puts the info you want right up front. It worked well until I got a new device with Android 11R and and no longer creates a shortcut for folders/ files so use another manager for just that and still go to MK Explorer for everything else.

Wow! When I saw that is app hasn't been updated since 2006, I was ready to give it one star, but WOW. This is a great TWO-WINDOW explorer and it is very, very FAST! So if you're tired of slowness of, say, Solid Explorer, you must try this app. The app's footprint is small (only 35 MB), but unfortunately you can't move it to the SD card. Also, the app does not give access to any cloud storage. I'm still giving it 5 stars for its speed, simplicity, two-windows, and comprehensive operations.

Really good app with beautiful UI, customisable. I would give it five stars, but one issue: if the file's name starts with the author's last name, and you write it in the search box with the first name followed by the last name, or vice versa, the app search results will be "0". This is an important issue that should be fixed. I work with books, so, this issue is of first priority. The only File Manager that does it correctly is the Samsung My Files app. Please fix this issue. Really great app!

Clean and lean implementation. No BS, no wasting of resource, no background process and can handle most file formats, even ZIP files. The UI is clean and very easy to use. One can even define shortcuts for quick access in the library. MK Explorer doesn't have the ability to connect network devices, though. Maybe an plugin for connect network devices would be a nice addition for users who need it.

This has all the features I'm looking for (scrollbar, bookmarking of folders, access to bookmarked folder links while copying and pasting, and unexpurgated display of all files in folders containing more than 1000 files). Some aspects of of the UI are very unintuitive though. It took me a while to figure out how to access the bookmarks and also how to access the filepath

Great app. Easy to use. Neat interface. My favourite feature: it let's you see at a glance the largest files taking up space on your device. Also shows root memory (for those who like that kinda stuff). However, thumbnails seem to remain on the device after deleting them from the app. I often have to go through my phone's default storage management app (settings) to delete thumbnails.

The app works well for me, with no issues, to do standard file functions such as search, copy, paste, move and so on. I have not used the other functions such as cloud backup, so I cannot comment on those. I have used it on two phones and a few alternative Android like operating systems.

Used to be one of the best. Extremely lightweight and clean, with all the basic functionalities. Unfortunately can't install APKs in the latest versions of Android. And doesn't have a consistent dark theme.

1. Nice color options. 2. Cannot grant permissions to move or paste files to extSD card in Android 10 (only Android 9). 3. If I open any photo internally FROM WITHIN MK Explorer, then Gallery will NOT let me edit it or rename it, but if I open it EXTERNALLY using Gallery, I can. 4. Developer does not respond to feedback or suggestions. 5. InShot File Manager seems to have everything that MK cannot handle. I'm Using Galaxy 10s, 10e, and Moto G7 Plus, on Android 10.0.

The best file manager of 35 that i checked . BTW that its just the Android File Manager, it doesn't support any remoting, but has every feature that it should . Would be good to change the move and compress icons to more default/recognizable ones . _ _ _ _ And would be awesome to have NTFS support for OTG X) .

This used to be the absolute best file manager. But it hasn't been updated for 3 years and OTG doesn't work with Android 9 or 10. It's too bad because this File manager used to be my alltime 5 star favorite. But it's now pattially useless without access to usb. I guess its abandoned since the developer doesn't answer support requests, if its opem dource perhaps sell it, so someone else can update it.

Best file manager of all and so many that I have tried. Smat display, simple and easy to use. One thing I would like to have added is a percentage progress bar when copying/moving files and not just the plain progress bar. Well done developers 😀

Not my favorite file manager but it does what it says, and the dual pane, open in right window features are excellent. I think the reboot warning is totally unnecessary, it seems some users that commented below have completely misunderstood this warning.

A solid file manager. The only issue I've had is that it always fails to gain access to anything not native to my device. It's a huge flaw in an otherwise excellent file manager.

Excellent File root file manager and file editor. Probably needs an update. I really wish the dev would open source this (so the community could work on it and keep it maintained. I also like ZArchiver, but it doesn't have a file editor like this does.

Overall a great app design-wise, and it is full of features, but one bug made it unusable for me: It could not move files from my phone's internal memory to the external SD card.

Could not open two windows on LG even through settings. Tried setting home page to either side but no matter what when I select "open in right" it simply doesn't. Works fine on my tablet though.

I LOVED IT!!! Easy to use, wonderful customization options, really lite, intuitive and fast with NO ADS! Excellent work guys! Keep it up please.

DANGER! It falsely says that some folders (which actually contain non-hidden files) are empty. And, in general, it's too simple: you cannot enable even critical things like "always show folder/file sizes" etc.

Hi sir i would like to say your app is so good in use i love it but there is some bugs need to fix it. First one order view is not correct when we select by name. Another bug is please provide skip replace option as well so that when know we have already copied the same files i hope you will fix these.thanks and best regards

All the idiots that gave 1 star for not being able to move system files, (root add-on, to protect the autists from themselves). No cloud storage ( Addon download I won't assume you are seeing a theme). Unable to open compressed files archives etc, ( addon download ). Not be able to make file shortcuts, ( autist cont.). But you'll toss those 1 stars out quick not like the rating system is based on averages. Should lose the privilege of downloading apps. Please just go play on the highway. ⛹️🚚

Sleek but functional design, easy to navigate yet still powerful. Light, fast, and with no ads, this app might just be the best file manager yet for personal use. Truly recommended.

Kel. M. Jun 19, 2019

well, it works on oreo, not very many features; but you can, with some effort, apply a fully dark theme, although I wish it were easier. At least copy to sd works.

Man. C. Jul 29, 2020

It's a very simple and a good file explorer. Sometimes it becomes unresponsive like when I was deleting files in a bulk but overall it's good.

Use to love this app but recently switched to Samsung S20+ and can no longer properly rename files with text selection slider. Please fix the for Samsung's One UI -Android Q.

Very fast, but no shortcuts to video, APK, audio, etc. These shortcuts make access easy.

Works good, allows me access otg file on my old galaxy tablet and my tab a 10.1 128gb tablet too. I give it 5 stars because works better than the es file explorer pro which is out of the market. I don't know what happened but now this app does not display the otg in the latest version of galaxy tab 10.1 but it does on the older version.
