It seems I, and others, have been charged for services not rendered. I was charged after the app changed to this useless waste of programming. I suggest the developers of this app reimburse every subscriber immediately! Please explain to us in detail what service is being provided in return for our money. Explain how this app still provides the service to which it originally justified said subscription. At this current time the the statements above provide data that correlates to Fraud and Theft
Disgraceful! I paid for an entire year's subsciption, only to be told that they suddenly discontinued this program while I tried to use it at the airport. Whether it's the individual airport or the whole program itself, there has been zero communication (or offers for a refund) about the cancellation. Was great while it worked, that's why I thought spending a significant amount on it was a good investment. Don't bother!
The app worked great and saved our family time at the airport. What could be more clear is that, unlike the paper form, every person in the household needs to download and complete the app. Also, airport staff were doing their best, but were overwhelmed with trying to explain the app benefits to hundreds of people in line. Improved signage at the airport would help! For example, there were so many signs directing people to not use their phones in line, which sent a conflicting message.
I installed the app while taxiing to the airport gate and was all registered and checked in by the time my row got up to leave the plane. I was in the back half of the plane but among the first on my flight to baggage claim. I still had to wait with everyone else for the bag to come off the belt, but the time saved and hassle reduction made the app worthwhile. I'm going to stick with the free version; if I traveled enough to warrant the paid version I'd probably look into Global Entry instead.
I have used this app for several years with great success. I frequently travel out of the country as cheaply as possible so this app is especially helpful. When I have a connecting flight, instead of stressing out on a line for thirty minutes or more, I literally swan past the hundreds of people waiting for the kiosks and go directly to a customs agent, who scans the bar code and I'm out! It's been a life saver at big international airports like JFK, EWR, MIA, and FLL.
Free version will help speed up returning trips. It will prompt you for paid version when first opening, just skip this part, and the free version will allow you easy entry. You have to re-enter your info each time with free version, but still worth it to skip ahead lines. I have used it twice this year, and both times I was able to get through much faster then parties traveling with me going through normal process.
That was a poorly thought out upgrade. Instead of finding additional value-add features to charge for, they essentially took away the core featutes and made it paid only. Even if I could pay for it, I wouldn't. It is just poor form to do this kind of an upgrade. Update: several ways this could have been done better. Could have given a grace period of 1 year. It could have been listed as a feature being offered for free temporarily. Now, it feels like a sudden bait and switch.
This was such faster than using the electronic kiosks in the airport, and I got through customs even quicker than the line of people who had global entry. This second fact will likely change as more people use this app, but even still I was able to complete my declaration in the plane, and submit it once the plane touched down, making the need to complete a form in the airport unnecessary. Great time saver.
super easy. getting luggage is now what slows things down. I used the app for the second time in Seattle. It's great! 12 minutes from announcement on plane that doors were being opened to waiting for luggage -- and I was sitting in the back of a 777. Awesome. I didn't opt for paying for the upgrade to allow you to save your data, but uploading it again was simple, taking all of a minute or two.
This app is no longer supported. It simply redirects you to download the official one. Old review: Works really well. Way better than you would expect it to, supporting fingerprint verification and letting you skip the lines. Every US citizen who is travelling internationally, even once, absolutely should download this app. It saves you hours of time for free.
