Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour

The game used to be great but in 2019 with all the competition it falls flat. Controls are a bit too tight, on a big screen device, enemies are difficult to spot and overall it isn't as much fun. The story is classic 2014 repertoire bad guy tries to take over the world, and you must protect USA and it's president. There are some futuristic elements added as well so that's good. There are not many ads and stuff making the whole experience a bit better.

I bought this game years ago and I remember really enjoying it. I feel like the last time I played it would have been pre meltdown and I have to say I think I enjoyed the original better. I don't remember it being so easy, or taking so little time to finish the campaign. It's still a decent short story, good for killing a few hours. Shame that they could do this meltdown update and not add gamepad control.

Just purchased the game 3 weeks ago and completed within one week and have experience the game very well. Game has a good storyline with every detail and good graphics. It was a great experience to play the game. Overall the controls are not so good and feels awkward. But leaving the controls everything in the game is good enough to play the game.

Used to be one of the greatest fps shooter games now is a broken mess. Lost all my Facebook data that had 5 years of gameplay put into, signed in with my Google games account and whenever I join a game and the loadout screen shows up it crashes the game and suddenly logs me out. Campaign and story is a masterpiece but overshadowed by multi-player faults. Broken game mechanics, hard grinding aspect, compakt has been the meta for 6 years and there's almost nothing redeeming anymore. Upsetting.

This is the best part of the Modern combat series. The controls are very smooth and storyline is best in class, but the problem is in multiplayer matchmaking I am ranked 8 in the game but my opponents are of level 41 and 50. That is the only thing which I don't like about this game. I bought this game just for 20 INR.

The game itself is a great game and probably has the best single player campaign of just about any game on the playstore. However, this game absolutely deserves full gamepad compatibility. When I saw it was up for update I was convinced it was going to get the treatment it deserves. I know Gameloft either won't read this or don't care, but, it is extremely disappointing and frustrating that they refuse to take on board many others' complaints. A real disservice to an otherwise excellent game.

Good game but I have to say the controls are somewhat awful to laggy when using iron sight or scope so its not responsive enough as it should be! Another problem is shots not registering to well like if an enemy is hiding behind an object but you can see the top of their head you can shoot their head but shots don't register very annoying and another issue is running which should be added to the move forward control instead of having to press a separate button. Please sort these problems out!

This game is fun. P.s. For those who are stuck during Mission 8 (Terminus) where the game constantly crashes, just stay there and let the NPC Walker do all the shooting until all of the enemies are defeated, this might avoid the crashing; hope this helps

One of the last top quality production non-F2P mobile games. This game has very engaging story mode with heart pounding action akin to the Call of Duty franchise. The multiplayer mode is also still active but I would recommend it for the story mode with impressive voice acting and motion capture in cutscenes. An off putting part is the unnecessary addition of microtransactions but luckily they don't get in the players way as much as in current games.

Fantastic and fabulous game. controls graphics look and the interface all are above excellent. but in multiplayer ot takes very long to connect and even if it gets connected to a server it shows no player or only 1 or 2 player in game. please fix this issue. and one request please make fallen nation free or make discount on it since i long to play it. thank you.

Don't buy this game if you have the honour huawei 8 + doesn't seem to work for the device. Even though it's got a big processor. The game download perfectly then i click on the game is on a black screen for say 30 seconds then the game closes. Modern combat 4 and modern combat 3 done seem to work on the new devices modern combat 5 works perfectly. This needs to be changed.

I think the gameplay is overall good, though the graphics could be much better, especially for the price of the game, so graphics should definitely improve, controls are not perfect, but overallgood, the sights button for example is hard to reach...but I liked the game.

Uninspired story, lacklustre characters and just 12 missions about 6 mins long each. This has to be a really bad idea that I played this game. I could somehow ignore the bad dialogue for a good gameplay, which it shows during the initial stages, but hits you with a bummer when you realise it only has 12 missions, that too not too long! This is nothing more but a cash-grab attempt on the modern combat name which really makes it a disappointing game

I really loved MC 3, it played so smoothly. I tried to change all the settings to make the controls easier and movement more sensitive but it still does not change the way it feels... please do the same with the controls and sensitivity as you did with MC3... it plays great... but this new one is so disappointing!

Initially the game was just crashing on the poading screen, but somehow i can play now. It is good game, but I really dont like the idea of not having the health bar like they have in most other shooter games. Makes the game a lot easier when you can get your health back just by taking cover, fix that and this game is huge.

Another stunning fps from gameloft. Compared to MC3 it's more of an action shooter than a real world one (if that makes sense) , also seems to have a few minor bugs, still a 5 star game nonetheless. I just wish they kept making offline —no in app purchases— ones like these, but obviously there not as profitable , but still would be nice if they did !

Pretty bummed out. I purchased your game about a year and a half ago. It has been sitting on my device ever since along with a backlog of other games I want to play, but as of today I come to find out that it no longer works. Upon opening it flashes black and white with a loading icon in the middle of the screen. Very disappointed and waste of money. Android 11.

Best Game Ever. Hands down most realistic and action packed gameplay I have ever seen, sounds dramatic but I am serious. Was so happy to see Gameloft made an update and again the multiplayer is on! I miss the good ol days when you get connected into a match and it's full of people. Thank you Gameloft. This is what we want. Not Pay To win content.

This game is a one of kind action game made for Android phones, I love it so much. . .the graphics,the background,the accuracy there is amazing, it's mind blowing 🤯🤯 So my advice to everyone reading this...you should go for it and experience what I experienced👌👍. And I have a complain, whenever i reach up to level 8 the game automatically shortdown and boom am back to my home screen (very annoying 😤) so work on it,I love Gameloft, I love your games... peace 😎.

Surprisingly good. Very cheesy but decent campaign. Good shooter machanics, plenty of action. Some variety on missions. Gets 4 stars for lack of controller support, given its price there is no excuse for that. And bugs, lots of them. Probably should go to 3, but this was first fps campaign that i actually enjoyed on mobile game.

MC4 is by far the best FPS I have played on smartphones so far. It is amazingly good. The gameplay is wonderful in the Single Player campaign. and the enemies and friendlies behave authentically. They utilise cover well and act as a squad. The graphics and sound are good too. Longer missions and more outdoor and rural maps would have made this game even better. Please add more such new maps and missions for SP. MC4 is much better than MC5.

I remember playing and loving this game back on my galaxy s2, however, now it doesn't seem to be working on the latest one and after the terms and conditions screens it just goes to black and force quits. I would love for the game to get fixed so I can buy it again.

no havok physics. i played this game about 3 or four years ago on an ipod touch 5th gen and was amazed by the ragdoll physics and perfectly transitioned animations. I bought this game again for android because i was looking forward to the nostalgia and unparrelleled gamepley and physics/animations, only to find that there were none, havok physics appear to be totally removed from the game. i cant imagine why in four years this game would be stripped down to a way less advanced state. Ludicrous

Gameloft, this game has the same bug it did last year, my physical controller (GameSir G4s) works with it, with the exception of my right stick. I mean, your support for controllers is already implemented, all I'm asking is for you to fix it. Thank you.
