This application has glitches with transmission of the characters during the listening test, and I have to keep pressing the play button to finally get the correct number of dots, and dashes. All the tones; with the exception of #10 sound like an obnoxious cellphone tone.
The "listening" training is like using audio flash cards, I find it really helpful in learning to recognize characters by sound rather than by reconstructing them from dahs and dits. Sometimes the audio isn't perfect, but it isn't on a radio either. Nice work folks!
First play of a character from alphanumeric list is cut short. Same in other areas duch as single line text play. Settings option for speed is more senseless than a slider bar. I.e., 35 is faster than 100. And those numbers obviously having nothing to do with words per minute. Im a developer too and have written and havr been paid for my share of android and iphone apps. (Not an ad for me, rather to say i appreciate how hard this is.) If those issues were fixed plus more features, you could sell
Dictionary and training sections are very useful once codes have been learned but could be better graded so as to make it harder as one improves filling blanks and choosing from three options encourages guessing more than learning. Nice app.
Delete button is much too close to where the text is entered. sometimes trying to delete the last character deletes the entire line. Otherwise very good.
Nice app to play around with, but there seems to be some kind of bug that cuts off the first tone when a set of tones is played.
It's the best learning app I've ever tried and I've tried a few. I find my self practicing every day since I downloaded Morse code generator and I've improved better than I ever expected, I find that I can not put it down. I would definitely recommend this app. Super.
Hi. In which folder are the generated audio files saved to ? While waiting, I have to give 3 stars. Finally found how to retrieve .wav file. Would appreciate more tones.
the tones don't sound anything like a standard Morse generator, what, the devs can't generate a variable pitch square wave? too annoying sounding to use
Amazing! Lots of training modes, I love it! I'd advise newcomers to use Tone #10 at Speed #150.
I am a RADIO-AMATUER. I used the morse code generator to make custom tones for my phone. The tones are RING & NOTIFICATION. 😀
Excellent educational tool. My compliments to folks responsible for develope..great.
No manual Morse code sending. Tones are terrible.
Very good. But could work on tones a bit.
Cannot locate audio files on android.
Crashes upon starting on Android 12. Pleas correct and I will review again.
I am just starting back on Morse code for Ham qualification and I am really pleased with the performance of the app.
I'm reviewing my work and it seems to be correct. But the app doesnt say.
Where does it save the files on my phone?
The best morse code app!!!
Why can't I download this?!
The best Morse Code apps
I return to iked
The dictionary mimicks how you may have to guess letters you don't know or correct mistakes, listening test, this app has useful parts. Would give five stars if a toner/keyer was added in, where you could practice beeping the code.
I think it's pretty decent iv tried a few but this only one I like. I do wish it had more speeds though. THANKS
It would be a good app if you could adjust minimum speed word per minute to 5w.p.m. or 10 wpm,and so forth and so just slow which is 35 to the hell's going to learn this at 35 words per minute starting out.
You can use the alphabeth to cast audible Morse beeps. I just miss: Writing then click to Reproduce Morse Code and /or small characters on the alphabet in order to produce real time typing Morse code.
Tried the app. don't care for it. not very accurate with the individual characters. I'm not real proficient in the code but do know it .been a ham for about 20 years WB4HTQ
Would give it 5 stars if I could set the speed faster than 35.
One thing I want to try to to create a different Morse Code ringtone for each of my contacts to help audibly learn the alphabet, but when trying to save the file, even with permissions enabled, the file does not appear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Edit: the file saving issue has been fixed, nice job!
