Motorola Gallery

I use to love this app, but all of a sudden none of my pictures are showing. what the hell happened? no thumbnail on album cover and no pictures show inside the album.. only time i see the picture is of i click on the edit button. There is no"settings" area or feedback area... I love the camera but all of a sudden the gallery doesn't show pictures at all! And I notice there's no replies under all these other comments... why?

gallery is the only app (pre-installed) on moto turbo 2 that hangs the phone. everything is OK until the screen goes blank: timeout or turn off screen. if gallery is open & active when the screen blanks, when next try to use the phone: hangs for 30 to 60 seconds. sometimes 2 minutes depending on "freneticity" of reactivation attempts. it may be storage issue, i don't know. but i didn't expect this from a pre-installed app. or from a Motorola.

The Gallery and Photo Editor that came with it was a 5 star default app when I got the phone. I think with all new updates of Google Photos and so forth, the photo programs don't sync, and now when I open the default Gallery, some folders only have a blank screen on a lot of folders when I open some folders. Says cannot open. As with a lot of things, I wish the app worked like when I got the phone. I feel the updates in the play store often mess up the default apps!

This thing can tweak any picture just about any way you want, you can make negatives, change all the colors around, you can flip, rotate, crop, stretch, screw with the lighting---it isn't just a picture and photo editor---it creates ART---ANY art---and it has fabulous old skool effects that other apps don't have. It MAKES art and makes MORE art--- NEW art---then art out of THAT. It's been the gift that keeps on giving, the glorious rabbit hole keeping me up nights. Wish it worked on all phones💅

Pretty good basic functionality, but has some annoying glitches. When scrolling down, it often randomly jumps to somewhere else much farther down. And it somehow messes up the header data in edited files, so that they appear corrupted in other apps.

I had this app on my old Moto phone, but can't seem to get it on my new Moto g9 plus. Help! It was so easy to use and I never had a problem with it. Now I have Google picture and I hate it. It freezes if I try and edit a picture, I can't move photos to a folder & it's just showed me pictures of my dad from 4 years ago, this week, when he was alive. I've just cried my heart out as I lost my dad this year & I'm not ready to look at pictures of him yet. Please, how do I get this app on my G9 plus?

This gallery just deleted a group of images we took the other night, of floating lanterns in the night sky... NOT impressed... And i got some spammy email saying my enail doesn't exist, when i was trying to email those images to another account for sharing(from this gallery).. Now the pics are just gone.. I got some pictures i sent in that email, but the floating lantern pics didn't send, and are missing now too... i reported the spammy email..

On going problems of losing pics and crazy files jumping into my gallery that I have no clue of why. This started in February and all I can say is WTH? I am pretty sure I am going to have to do a factory reset.

unstable for the Moto E2: unfounded "full storage" notice and lost ALL fotos overnight. Very unhappy. Will try direct cloud storage, regardless of increased mobile data usage.

Could be faster and could have a private code in settings. Design is easy and kinda boring to look at. Unlike the 3D gallery app that has better options.

Just renamed an album, and the entire folder with all 58 images got deleted. Why? !!! Otherwise also, this app has been a pain to use for past 2 years.

This is the best app that is given by motorola. I used other apps for the gallery, but this is the best. I dont no why moto has stopped it to include in moto phones relesed after moto g3. this app is simply awesome. Motorola should give it to all the devices.

Lovely, except for the fact I can't locate or delete sent/received items, which are just eating up space. Only see them when texting.

This worked AWESOME on my G3. I now have an X4 and it says this is not compatible. Does anyone know what is compatible with the x4? It is not convenient to use google photos for everything.

it doesn't work anymore. my gallery just spoons & says it may take a minute to load, but never does. So I've disabled it and downloaded another gallery app

Works well, doesn't hang as Google photos when use zoom. Would be nice if it could manage photos in Google photo albums

if you like this Gallery app, don't get used to it. Motorola giveth, and Motorola take us away. Don't bother loving this app. Because if you upgrade to a new Motorola device they are taking it away from you. What are they replacing it with?

It is one of the best gallery app.....it's not just a gallery,it is also a great photo editor app...it is light,good and fast compared to all other gallery apps,i love moto

Now a days am unable to use it. Whenever i tap to open it , it does not work. Hope you guys will fix this and I reset my phone several time but same problem.

It'd be cool to have a "recently deleted" option as well as an ability to rotates screenshots.

What a pile of garbage, just like my Motorola phone (XT1080m). Lost functionality with the last major update. Takes forever to rotate a pic.

Love that i can select certain photos and move them to memory card or another gallery album quickly. havent found a app to do that yet on mynew phone.

Reliable performance several years running. Zero issues. Brilliant product, not over-engineered.

First it would show me pics but now can't take pics more than 5 and can't even take videos and this app is such a scrub that now it is not showing me my pics it says delete some files or images or turn off USB storage area but where the hell is USB storage area😢

It came with my phone. There are several functions to change or update the pictures. It does everything I need it to do. Except it doesn't update often.

Good app but only one ploblem is there that we can't move photo and video from internal storage to SD card. Hope that this might be possible in next update.

No way to organize photos in this thing. It decides what constitutes an album. Like my whole SD card. Seriously?

I copied images from pc. Gallery sorted the items by date modified. It should sort by date created. Please solve this issue.
