Movie Collection & Inventory

Got to my 81st movie, and the movie server stopped working. Access has started working again. I now have 822 movies in my database. I would like to see a field added for year of the film and the ability to copy a movie. There also seems to be a disconnect between the UPC and some titles. I'd like to see the database cleaned of typos.

This seems great on the free side of things. Was considering paying for the upgrade so that I can add photos and export the data. It would be great if it linked to imdb and showed the movies score. It seemed to know a few box sets that I thought would definitely not be on there, like 'up the elephant and round the castle'. Presently surprised by this app.

I just recently started using this app but so far I LOVE IT!! I'd recommend this app to anyone who wants to organize their movies! Try it you won't be disappointed. I have a question for the developers. Is there a way to keep the list in alphabetical order and still be able to put numbers by each one? I want to do that so I'll know at a glance how many DVD's I own. I noticed a little problem when I was doing a bulk scan for some of my DVD's. The problem is that on some of the entries the bar code scanner would enter the wrong movie. So far it only happened 2 or 3 times. I used the scanner that your app downloaded for me. I would like to get 1 or 2 of those movies. Is there a way to move them to my wish list? Also the alphabetical order doesn't work as well as it should. Maybe all of these things are updates that you can do. Some to fix small problems & others to make it better for the users of your app. By the way when I clicked on more info about the paid version it didn't say how much the update costs. There's just a place to click & do the update. I kinda like to know the cost before hand. By the way, to anyone considering installing this app ... do it! I still say that you'll love it like I do!! These are very minor problems.

awesome app. Does exactly what it says it will do, make a list of your movies. It can scan barcodes and identify most movies in seconds. Some barcodes are used for multiple movies, just make sure it picks the right one. If not you have to pick from your list and edit it. Super fast list creation makes this a must for your movie collection.

Very disappointed in the "free" experience. As long as you don't want to export, change phones, save/edit on another device or back-up your 3hrs of work, the description "free" is suitable. Otherwise you'll need to pay the $4 or abandon your work. $4 is not a bad price for what the paid version does, but it should be disclosed in the description so you can make an informed choice before being leveraged into paying. I deleted this app and rated it 1/5 stars based on principal not functionality.

Not all movies are in database and cover photos are not included. When typing in a title search in many cases, search produces numerous unrelated titles, but not the title searched. No backup method is allowed despite the options offered (user forced to upgrade if any form of backup used). Scanning barcode sometimes brings up wrong title. Not very intuitive.

Is an ok app. Will see if it transfers all the movies I have already scanned to my new phone. If not, I'll be amending the review. Also have had a lot of "movie not found" Then scan again and it's found. Seems to be hit an miss a lot. Overall, is ok, but will amend in a week or two when I upgrade phones. Update: I scanned half of my movies just before updating my phone, 2675. Lost them all, didn't transfer. Won't be installing this or using it again. If it saved them then I would but no.

This so does exactly what I wanted it to do, in the free version! It organizes all the films I own in alphabetical order. Love that I can add a DVD title by scanning the barcode. Also like that I can search for a movie by title or genre. Have not tried the paid version, but free version rocks!

I've only entered about half of my collection. Suddenly it won't allow any more to be added without the text of the entries turning to gobbledygook. I first posted this review in Sep 2018. As of May 2019 I've had no response from the developers nor has the app been updated, therefore I've uninstalled it.

Easy to enter movies. I had entered in over 300 movies into the database making sure that I backed it up to their server. Today I logged in and I was down to 45 movies. I tried to restore from backup and it will not let me. Nothing but a waste of my time. Don't bother with this app it's not worth the aggravation! I was planning on using their other collection apps but no now I will not.

Love it but need a function to search other text fields for things like key words and actors instead of just the title field, I would also love a split title field for multi title sets so it shows the extra titles in the box set in the alphabetical title list (I realise that this may cause redundant data though). A filter for time would be nice as well so search can be limited to the time you have available. If you add these to it you will have a much better rating.

Had some issues with this at the start with photos saving on my entries and so rated this one star. The developer has been emailing since and rolled out an update that resolved the issue. The issue worked for sevearl entries and spent hours putting pics on and they deleted themselves again after I checked 2 days later. Gutted. I'd give 2 and a half stars as the developer has tried to fix this and got back to me sevearl times. Can't give half so gets 2 as lots of wasted hours

Great app. Only a few things thst i think should get looked at in future patches amd updates. Boxsets dont have artwork in the search tab and i understand that you cam upload an image using a url but its just so much more convenient to use the search tab and lastly, minor....very minor adjustment to the format category. I own a few bluray 3d, bluray and dvd titles in my collection and id love it if at some point we could add that to the format categories.

Almost Exactly what i was looking for. I've only been using this about an hour so it hasn't been long. But so far, the only thing i would add , would be the ability to see the list made with each letter in the alphabet starting its own page. I feel this would make each section more readily accessable.

the app read the barcodes great, read all but 4 DVDs I typed them in. but I would like any 2nd copies listed also. its inventory not 1 of everything inventory. I don't like that you have to install separate barcode with access to all your stuff they have no reason to have access to, contacts, pictures, etc.

It needs more options like "genre" and adding actors. The barcode is horrible. It doesbt scan. Need to have a better one to DL and connect with the app cause i was trying and nothing. Other movir inventory app scans in a split second. Also cant add link to image. I copied and pasted and blank.

I've emailed the developers twice so far about my problem, with NO response. Here's my problem with this app. It works great. Easy to use. I've had nothing but problems with the paid version. It DOES NOT give me ANY of the "extras" that are supposed to be featured on the paid version. Google Play WILL NOT give me a refund, the developers WILL NOT answer ANY of my emails. BOTH Google Play and The Developers are nothing but thieves. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FREE VERSION, AND CERTAINLY DO NOT PAY FOR IT

Requires the installation of an external barcode scanner app for scanning functionality to work. Unfortunately, the scanner app requires all sort of permission like contacts and network. It also feeds you ads. Otherwise, functionality is fine, but such a central feature should not require an invasive app.

Love this app I've been looking and looking and finally found this. The free version works great and almost ALL my (more then 600) movies are in the database. The only ones with any problems are multi disc sets summaries. Other than that I plan to keep this app for as long as I own movies

Great app, be good if you can have tabs up the top to select formats like dvd or bluray instead of them all appearing in the same list, the app vg collection tracker pro does this and its great and simple. Also be cool to have grid view instead of a line list, change appearance options.

App is basic and worked ok for my purpose of just having my DVD list available on my phone. I spent hours populating my movie inventory with occasional glitches that would kick me out. Recently I updated the app and my phone settings and the entire list disappeared.
