Movie Manager & Collector

Best movie manager we've ever used! Great way to keep us from double purchases. Curious if paying would be of benefit? I believe it would be handy to be able print out the list for insurance purposes. Other features we'd like to use are available with a paid subscription. We just haven't done it yet. I don't want to ruin it but (whispers) no adds.

I really liked this app when I recently installed it, it was easy to use, just scan the baroness and it puts things in alphabetical order. Except it has free limited space, really limited, I paid for the upgrade, unlimited space, it didn't say that it was a recurring charge, the problem is, it no longer works right, it freezes, it won't do anything but search and it might find and load a movie here and there, to time consuming .fix the problem.

Great app but one major problem. I have a very large movie library. I paid for the premium version because I had well over 100 titles and I wasn't going to manually input all these movies. So when I hit the 700 mark I noticed that the number was lower than it was the last time I used the app. Well recently I hit 880 and I went to the store and got three more movies on sale. I went to put them in and it told me it was at 876. It keeps loosing my data. I hope that they can fix this issue soon.

Installed the mobile app and scanned 10 movies. Then I decided to purchase the desktop app for $25 so I could sync with my mobile device. The pros: cover art for unusual discs (double/triple features, anniversary editions…) appears correctly instead of the standard imdb cover art, and you can manually change both front and back cover images. Disc details & descriptions are nice, also editable. AHS Season 1 description shows all 12 episodes by name, nice. The cons: to continue to scan more discs with my mobile device I will need to pay another $9.99 to unlock the pro features since there was no apparent way to bundle these options during my first purchase. While the desktop-mobile sync is a nice feature there doesn’t appear to be any way to backup collections, online or locally, nor does there appear to be any way to export the data to a .txt, .csv or .xml. Scanned Weeds: The Complete Collection, it does indicate 8 seasons/102 episodes but it would have been nice if it actually would have listed the individual episodes like AHS. This is more of a feature request than a bug since I don’t know where they retrieve the info from. I would also like to see a true list-view option with no cover art.

It's great having a list of all the movies that I own, and that they can be added to your list just by scanning the barcode. If it's in the database, most of the information is automatically available. HOWEVER, the app crashes a lot when it runs into an error (either mine or its own). I'm trying to add a movie to the database, but it keeps crashing when I try to select the format, and I can't save it anyway without choosing a format. For $10, I hope it's still being worked on. 😅

This app used to work kind of smooth but that was a few years ago. The app has become increasingly buggy, an constantly freezes up. Now, my entire collection disappeared. I followed the advice in the "help" section to log out and log back in. Well for some reason I can't log back in and I can't get a response to my email. I'm feeling like I need a different app. FYI, I have the pro version. Save your money and avoid this app.

Allows you to add 10 movies for free then when you try to do anymore, it hits you with the "upgrade to pro" for a fee. And if you want to have it on your computer that's an even bigger separate fee. I just want a running list of my movies, paying more than a $1 or 2 just for that is asking too much. Uninstalled

same experience as many people here. i paid for the upgrade and The app was great the first night, then stopped working. I deleted the app and reinstalled, same problem. scanner wont work and all my data that I previously scanned is gone. A waste of 9.99 Update 2022: they fixed the problems years ago and it works as advertised

its not too bad, but if a movie has "The" in the title it logs it in by that instead of the way it should. plus when you scan them in, like every 3rd or 4th scan doesnt work so you have to back out and do it again. Getting ready to delete this app and download the other one that costs more money.

It's good, as long as you only keep it on your phone and don't need a back up or to send a copy to anyone. It us unable to attach file to Email, One Drive, Google Drive or blutooth share. So it's just stuck here.

I kind of like it, but the bull scan never does more than one or two before freezing. Hopefully it gets fixed and I didn't waste $10. Ok so that problem appears to be my phone, but on another phone it doesn't process everything that scanned so it doesn't seem like bulk scanning can be trusted.

Paid for app. Had most of my movie collection scanned the app stopped working and every movie I had scanned was gone. Thought it may be my phone so I deleted the app. and reinstalled it, then tried to sign in to my account it won't let me. Don't pay for the premium. Rip off. I want a refund.

Very handy app for organising and listing your Movie library, my 1300 film collection all in alphabetical order makes it easier to look up and check if I've got or haven't got films that I purchase. etc.

Paid for the pro version so I can bulk scan items. Scanner scans 2-4 times the same bar code instead of just once forcing me to delete entries. Lots of entries with "no header". Lost most of the collection that I scanned for no reason. Fix this app or give a refund.

Was a fantastic app with Sort-It, but now it's iCollect and they have a recurring charge, even if you previously purchased and paid for unlimited premium with free upgrades.... they don't honor your Sort-It purchase. Better apps out there for less $. Negative 5 stars for dishonesty, and disreputable business practices.

Great app. Only complaint is the scan feature is too fast and repeatedly opens a pop up box advising you can enter quantity of duplicates. Getting rid of the pop up box would make this a 5 star app. Otherwise it is great!

Was great at first. Paid the 10 bucks for the premium to access the bulk scan but now anytime i scan a movie it says its already in my collection even when its not. Super frustrating. Im not going to put in 400+ movies by hand. Wish I hadn't wasted my money. Wish I could get it back...

Only had this app for about a month and have already lost everything I spent time scanning into it! My dad lost his database as well... Nothing comes up anymore. No responses from the app creator when emailed regarding this issues or a refund. For $10, the app should at least work longer than a month!

I love this app & I paid the fee to store all my movies in the database...but now the app keeps crashing & I can't use it anymore! i tried restarting my phone, clearing my history & deleting the cookies, I uninstalled the app & reinstalled it & nothing seems to work, I don't know what to do about it...I need help!!!

I have worked over 10 hours to scan and manually log in over 800 movies and games. No title names are uniform and now my thumbnail pics are disappearing after I put them in. This is after I paid for the upgrade version. Dont waste your money because this app does not do what it claims.

Overall my experience with this app has been good I no longer wonder if I have this movie or not now when I'm out and about. I just whish there was a manual input option as I no longer have some of the barcodes.

Lost collection, tried FAQ advise to re login did not recognize my name and password and am now locked out of everything can't even reinstall the program. I have almost 1000 movies and this was a great way to carry my list to the store now I am looking for another app unless you can tell me how to find my file. Not very pleased right now!

In order to edit any of the information you need to pro version which I think is a little sleep in price. Very great user interface and appearance.
