MP3 Cutter

Start/End points don't work anymore. I'm trying to cut short clips out of an hour-long mp3. I lined up the start and end points exactly where I wanted them. When I played the clip back, the beginning was cut off. It didn't match what I had selected while editing. This used to work perfectly, even on big files. I wound up trimming the big file with extra room on each end of the clip, saved it, then did further trimming on the new clip file to get what I used to be able to do in one step. And, what happened to merging files? I wanted to string 3 clips together, but it looks like there's no way to do that in this app anymore. Great.

Most of the times, mp3 cutter software advertisements are mind blowing. But when it comes to function it becomes terrible. But this software is excellent. User friendly, ringtones or song clips can be created with an ease and stored in a separate folder. Easy to find the original song from the mp3 database. And moreover, size of this software is so small that we can even install in any android mobile which has low memory specifications. That makes it special. Thank you. I enjoyed it.

Its a good app. If you're looking to just cut music for a ringtone then this is perfect. I personally, wanted to cut down a song because I only liked a certain part of it. It worked but the sound quality worsened so much that it was noticable. I'm going to look for another app but like I said, if you're just using it for making ringtones, have at it.

This is a great music editor. Cuting and merging music is super easy. Making ringtones from songs you like is a breeze. Best and easiest music editor App. (update) This is still my favorite mp3 editor.(Update) again still great. They added ads when you trim now but I have no complaints. They have to make money somehow.(Update) Still using it and it's still the best.

This app is horrible! I made about 86 mp3 cuts and I have to redo over half of them. Every time I make a cut, it either makes the beginning of the audio fade in (this is NOT an audio editing app) or cuts off the end too fast. I thought that I would be able to make a video with my mp3 cuts but now it's taking me even longer because I have to delete this stupid app and use another.

Doesn't allow me to set the start and finish of the clip using the keyboard, so I have to drag the visual slider across the screen to do it.. The screen zoom is limited to a very limited extent.. If you have a file that is longer that 5 minutes you will get you brain exploded. I couldn't check the other features because I only deal with lengthy mp3 files.

It's almost 99% precise at trimming or cutting an audio file at 1/10th of a second. That's not the best I've been able to get on Android phone, another app from xda (which I do not remember) could do almost 1/50th of a second. Considering there are very few software that can actually cut down an audio file down to the 5 ms precision, which are also costly. TL;DR - Good app.

Needed to produce a complex compilation of audio clips for a presentation. Had not edited audio previously. Even without instructions, which would have helped, I was able to produce the desired results. Ads were there, some interesting I might add, but not annoying or "in your face." Great job.

Modifying previous review. It saves the cut audios but seems to do so in a delayed way. The app is neat, cuts pretty quickly but does not cut precisely. It would be nice if there can be function to combine audios. It looks like the app is meant mostly for ringtones creation. Otherwise the cutting of audios is easy and the content plays as original. Ads are not intrusive. Nice app, just needs some polishing.

There is no help section to explain features. I tried something very simple - took an mp3 (18 sec), trimmed to the first 5 sec, saved it, and set as a notification tone. However whenever I open the mp3 with a player, it still shows as 18 sec, only playing the first 5 then ending. But worse, when the notification triggers, it just plays all 18 sec (like I never trimmed it). So, based on that, this app isn't doing what it is designed to do. Bummer.

I like to download classical music that I think fits with special or seasonal events then use the app to select the part I enjoy the most. For example, I downloaded Carol of the Bells and made a 30 second clip which I set as my Christmas ringtone. I have also used it to make notification tones, overall it is a brilliant app to have.

Pretty good for a free app, has all the basic features you need. The only downside is there's a slight delay in the exported trimmed audios, where it sounds okay during editing but there's a noticeable difference in the saved audio. If you could fix that, that'll be great!

5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Yes! 5 Stars! Finally! This is the easiest, fastest & best Ringtone Mp3 Cutter App that I've used to date. I've tried, tested & used at least a dozen different audio editing apps, like this one, and THIS is one of the 2 or 3 BEST. I have this on several Devices. I love Apps & I love Android OS as well. I have several thousand Apps on all of my Green Robots. I would recommend this App to anyone, especially if you like to create your own custom ringtone, alarm or even notification sounds.

GREAT APP/SIMPLE INTERFACE/EASY TO USE I needed to trim an mp3 that's used as my ringtone. Initially I only wanted to edit out the opening second of the file but this app was so simple and easy to use that within a few minutes I had created several new ringtones from different parts of the song. Using the same part of a song for my ringtone gets old and now I can switch to different sections of the song. LOVE THIS APP AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE I KNOW!!!

Awesome app. Lets me pick files from the SD card, and save to the SD card.... something which is rare these days it seems. Very easy to use, not cumbered down with useless things in the UI. I bought the full version to support the dev and to get rid of ads. Restarted the app, and ads are gone. Highly recommend.

Simple, effective, user friendly, does it's job without a hitch. Hell, I even clicked some adds to support the developer (adds which don't get in your way when editing, mind you)

Any trimming app on a phone is tough when you're using your fingers to get the spot just right. But this app is good, provides lots of tools to help you get the clip accurate. Only needed it for 30 seconds so didn't explore other capabilities available, but still would recommend especially for a quick job.

Desperately needs the ability to type in start and end timestamps instead of having to finger swipe to those points; the zoomed out graph is nowhere near what's required if trying to cut from a file that's a bit longer (like podcast episodes). Does in a pinch but could be perfect with this addition.

Awful. Extremely slow and unintuitive to use, and when you're done and you have the start and end markers EXACTLY RIGHT, it only ends up using them as a rough guideline and you don't get what you marked. On top of that it's stuffed to the brim with ads. Steer away from this one.

So far, I used it to cut out the start of a song. So I'm not sure if it cuts in a mid section without cutting out an entire side of the song. But so far it Works fine but I do suggest adding a fit option to cut through the middle Without cutting off half of the song.

Well well well, AN APPLICATION THAT ACTUALLY WORKS !!! I'm looking at the better part of 50 MP3 cutters I've tried over the last 2 days, but this one worked, very well. There's a lot of thumbs up for different applications, this is the only one that actually did what it advertises. A lot of time when in searching for this application I only wish that it had been in the first few not the last that I looked at, que Sera Sera.

This is a must have great little editing tool for the android, quick simple editing specially good for making your own custom notifications and ringtones, used it for years and it's still good as it was back in it's first release, plus it's a cheap price to remove those annoying adverts for better editing.

After removing start and end of song through cutting it shows when playing the song the length as longer than the cut. Moving the progress bar while playing in another mp3 player towards the end of the cutted song, there is nothing there and it jumps to the beginning of the song. This did not happen with other mp3 cutters.

This is the best app for editing audios. Since i have been using mp3 cutter i have experienced so much on the app. It perfectly edit my dj samples and trim them well. Thanks so much

Works very well. I like the fact that one can cut precisely where you want audio to start and end. Merging different clips is also a breeze.

Great app, for an app this small it is actually very effective, does what it says, apart from the constant pop up ads it is really simple to use and of course doesn't take up your storage space, i really recommend it for trimming and cutting any audio in your device.
