I really do love this app! Recently though, I've found a few bugs with it. 1. The playlists show on the interface that there are 0 songs in the playlist, even if there are. This doesn't affect the songs in the actual playlist, but is a surface error. 2. Song titles are now getting cut off, which is annoying when looking for them. "Legends Never Die" gets cut off to "Legen...", "Castle" gets cut off to "C..." There doesn't seem to be a reason for the length cut off, either.
Would've been a solid 4 or 5 stars, but this app does a weird thing that I don't like at all. It separates some of the songs from the rest of the albums I created and puts them in their own individual albums (based on the artist I guess, except I made my own albums for a reason). I wouldn't have minded too much, except there's no way for me to move them back. Or move music around at all for that matter (it just makes something new entirely). If that's ever fixed, I might change my rating.
Almost perfect, I love the ui, it functions well, and the ads are quite minimal for the quality of the ap. My only complaint is that occasionally editing the tags on music and adding lyrics seems to corrupt the audio file and make it unplayable, I have to remove the file and re-download it. There's no way to tell when this will happen, which is a bit frustrating, but other than that, its great!
Nice player. Some issues though. I have zero understanding why it shortens song names making it impossible to see song names in playlists, for instance "Overwhelmed" becomes "Ov..."... WHY? Turn that off!!! Playlists are super hard to edit as well. You can't just add songs to a playlist, as it doesn't give you the option to see a list of songs on your phone when editing a playlist, you can only conjoin another playlist. You have to get it right the first time or you might as well start over.
This works really great for playing the music you have, whether you download from 3rd party sources or transfer from another device. I've been using this for about a year, with only one issue. The tag editor doesn't work well, and there is no way to add other songs to an album, which I struggle with because my other app which I can edit tags on will not add new songs to existing albums, it simply creates a new album, which drives me crazy. Other than that, I love it, and will continue to use.
It's Okay~~But Not Really. I mean it's just OK. ~~Eh, you know. It does the job. But doesn't continue to play in the background whenever u anything pops up at all. I can understand that some of the other things that you do while you are listening have to take over and stop the music. The music stops if I am downloading an app while listening when the app finishes. Reedick!!
Recently just got a new phone. I was sure to backup my songs, album covers, and lyrics. When restoring the backup file on my new phone, it's doesn't do anything. No lyrics, or album covers. The problem is I have about 600 songs that I've added over the past 3 years, now I'm going to have to fix them within a few days. 3 stars for no correct take over. New problem, now 1 star. I really do love this app. But now every single song randomly cuts off at the last 5 seconds and it is just irritating
I wanted to give it 5 stars, but I'm having an issue with the "Tag Editor" option. A good ammount of time when I try to change the artist and the album, when I confirm the change, nothing changes but it says it did. Also, when I put an album cover for a song, and then just tried to change the artist and album name, it just froze and it literally destroyed my mp3. file, not being able to play it anymore. So if the developers even look at these reviews, fix your "Tag Editor" and you'll get 5 stars
10/10 would recommend. I'm highly considering buying the pro version just to support the developers. It's a really good music player. It's super convenient and is on par with Spotify when it comes to customization. Very user friendly. Best part, no ads between songs. Love being able to see the covers of my music.
I liked the app layout and ability to edit tags and add album art. I got my collection looking really good. Why 2 stars? After Android 11 update Muzio just crashes and is unusable. Hopefully will be updated. UPDATE: I forgot about this app and just used YouTube Music but wasn't happy with it. So I just downloaded it again and it's fine now. I'm currently on Android 12 Beta and played several albums with no issues. So all good here.
I'm noticing an issue where when I'm updating audio, it disappears from the playlist. May be a subtle issue but 3 stars until fixed. Other issues as well but I don't know how to explain it. EDIT: I've reported NUMEROUS times that the tag editor doesn't work for me and nothing has been done about it. Worse is that it does something to the file and having no choice but to delete it. Also having issues where the playlist does show the full name, instead does... when it's not even full.
I feel mixed about this app. On the one hand, it has a nice, simple, attractive interface. On the other hand, it doesn't seem able to find/play my wma music files, only mp3s. Also, I've noticed that ever since I downloaded the app, my phone has a weird glitch where if I'm listening to podcasts (using a totally different app), the phone will randomly lower the speaker volume no matter how many times I reset it to full volume.
By far the best free app for playing music. I've used it for years now without complaint. Well, don't pay attention to my innane rambling; download it and experience the simple, yet intuitive music player. Don't get me wrong; I am not placing this app upon a high, Ivory tower, declaring it the definitive alpha and Omega of music players. I'm just saying, it doesn't cost a thing and as a free app, one would expect to step in a steamy, buggy pile. It really does exceed expectations...End
GREAT APP! One doesn't get bogged down w/ridiculous and unnecessary "hoop-jumping" just to play your music. You're able to access through categories (e.g., Songs, Artists, Albums), as well as sort the info. Have tried so many music apps… this is by far the best. I suppose the $4.99/year upgrade to premium is worth it… if anything, just to get rid of the ads. Completely up to you. Me, I prefer a one-time purchase and be done w/it. At any rate, I HIGHLY recommend!
I like it, but every time I slowed a song in the app, it'd play the song but also played the song previous to the one being played. The original song would stop, but to get the second song to stop, I'd have to close the app and the window player. Another thing is that the MP3 cutter doesn't work right. It's a bit annoying that it keeps asking me to rate the app, but I'd give it 5 stars if the glitches gets fixed.
I like the app, I've used it ever since Google Play stopped working but I do have a minor issue with it. Sometimes, I quickly skip over a few songs but if I do this too quickly, the song freezes and I cannot change or play on whatever it had frozen on. This is usually fixed by Uninstalling and reinstalling or by resetting my phone. It is a minor inconvenience, I'll live with it.
This is the first audio player I've downloaded and I think it will be the last. Truly a work of art. Very user friendly, aesthetically pleasing even without micro transactions, and it even comes with some convenient widgets. No advertisements in-between songs, just an insignificant little ad at the top when the app is opened. Overall, 10/10.
For some reason the update made the "playing queue" from great to trash: 1. It somethimes changes the playing song if I change it to "shuffle". 2. I can't remove songs in the query by swiping left anymore. I have to hit a small X, which will play the song I wanted to remove, if I miss. 3. Some songs only show up as "U...", or "Interpret..." others show the full title. All issues are just annoying, especially because they haven't been there before. I'll have to switch if it doesn'tget fixed soon!
Love this app. For me the best music app out there. I like the fact (unlike other apps) that you can select the artist then you can either play everything by that artist or you can select the album. Other apps you have to select the album to play the album. When you've got 1600+ albums it gets a bit tedious.
I hate this new update. I cant slide to remove songs from my queue anymore. On top of that it's just a little x on the side that you can easily miss. I dont see why you keep changing things that arent broken but I still cant tap a song in my queue without resetting the entire thing and clearing all the songs I had lined up. Which defeats the purpose of setting up the queue. Close to finding a new app.
Nice app overall, but it has a bug. Whenever I play a big set of files (I usually do shuffle on all my 5000+ files), it happens that the notification with currently playing file lags 1 or more songs behind the actual song that is currently playing. And if I operate the player through the notification, it all gets messed up. I hope this gets fixed.
The app is great, able to edit the music info if its wrong. But my only major problem with this app is that when you try to update the song info nothing changes. It stays exactly the same, this is pretty annoying as the only thing you can change is the Art and thats it. Please fix this problem
I would give this 5 stars as its has every feature I was looking for (shuffling, how long (in h, m & s) each playlist is, changing order of songs, liking songs, changing the mix in the song, ect), but my only issue is it stops playing music randomly when I'm not on the app, whether that be when I have my screen off, or I wa sonthe app and my screen just turned off after some time or if I'm on another app. This happens even though I've enabled the "display over other apps" option. Very annoying😒
Very nice music organizer/player. Intuitive to use, colorful, easy on the eyes interface, and so full-featured in the free version I've had no desire yet to upgrade. Ads are mostly unobtrusive though you have to close a popup page occasionally. Only con is the scroll bar on the right is awkward to access.
Hands down, best music playing app for Samsung. Everything is perfect; it's intuitive, everything loads quickly, and it looks great. Heads up, if you have a newer phone, any files that are wma will not play on this app so you need to convert them to mp3!!!!
Great player, nice design / "lockscreen player" option is gone. "Last closed tab" isn't a thing either. When you play from album and back out, it does not return to album only the main selection and swiping up or down should be a shortcut back. It's wildly inconvenient when wanting to change albums by a specific artist
Great ! Everything is cool, you have so many options to personalize the music player, it's really cool. The only thing missing is the cutter that you can find on " Music Player". Plus, if you have, like me, put folder into folder, they will be separated. This may be annoying, when you're searching for a song in a folder, so you have to organize it well ! If you don't mind about all of this, then you should definitely download it!
