Musixmatch Lyrics

Pressure to make us give unuseful permissions, bad sync for some songs with Spotify, no possibility of adjusting sync easily (why can't we just move a slider?), heavy interface with loads of unuseful features (so the app uses more storage on your phone than needed). I don't understand why Google recommends this app... Edit : I tried again the app a few month later. Spotify won't connect(I never had trouble connecting any other app to Spotify). I recommend the app "Quicklyrics" instead.

It's a 3 stars because I like the app and stuff, but firstly it happens a lot that the lyrics are not well synchronized, secondly when it doesn't run when your song starts, it's a hell to kill the Spotify app and start the song once again, Musixmatch doesn't detect it well. And thirdly, the most annoying thing, the floating button, clipping the edges so fastly, so hard to dismiss (like compare its behavior compared to messenger's one), and so hard to remove from the notification bar.

The app is getting from bad to worse, now you are even forcing people to sync the lyrics even if they don't want to, just trying to translate some lyrics and that's it, just to find the app telling me to sync the lyrics before submitting. Good way to make people stop contributing for good. I wonder what exactly were you trying to improve, because all I can see, that you made a huge catastrophe out of the app

This app are wasting my money. I paid Spotify Premium just to contribute for the community. This app has a lot of bug like music player error (happen since last year), sync error and saving error. I spent a lot of money for that to get my job done. At the end, it was not worth it. It supposed to be fun. You better fix your app ASAP.

When I open the app, it just shows some cycling demo of what the app does. I can't see a way to get past that. Touching the screen makes it start over. The only way to get any functionality is to follow a link from the Musixmatch website into the app. But even then, half of the features don't work. It just gets stuck loading forever on sync or tag sections. I successfully added lyrics to one song, you get a star for that I guess.

The app is awesome. But it still has some problems for hindi songs as it shows we are not authorised to show the lyrics of the songs the problem should be resolved and an option for reviewing and editing of that lyrics should be provided so that people can enjoy that songs also with lyrics and this will also increase the downloads and the uses of this app as people of other countries will also be able to enjoys the songs of their known language with lyrics. That's why I am rating 3 stars only...

I have been having an issue since the end of last year where everytime I try to edit my song info it deletes my song after I finish. I'm not sure why this is happening and it has been aggravating me for a minute now because this is the only way I can get the album covers. I have had this app since 2016 and never had this issue. Edit: Almost a year later and now if you identify a song you are able to add it to your favorites but there is no way to see them later on. The identified history 🔄

Why do you have to give access to edit song data individually? I'm tired of having to tap through hundreds of songs before I can change the cover art of one. Also when you pause the music and hit next change to another song you'd expect the player to stay paused until you hit play but it just automatically starts blasting whichever song you changed to

Ever since the recent update most songs have "unfortunately we're not authorized to show these lyrics." Literally unusable when most my songs have this error. Even songs i personally typed out the lyrics for.

The idea is great, but the execution... Elements of the app randomly swap places, errors pop up all the time and actually editing lyrics is hell. I tagged the structure of a song then synced the lyrics. Upon publishing, the tags were gone. I was translating a song, some of the lines didn't publish, when I try to add them, an error pops up. Also the line count changed to song playing bar halfway through the translation

I found this company through Spotify lyrics and thought "Hey, maybe I can help the community and add some of my favorite lyrics." I was met with an overwhelmingly buggy and infuriating system that feels like it's constantly working against me. I passed the "Academy test" to be able to add and edit lyrics to my favorite songs, but the app and the website are both so broken to a point where I can't even use them. I like the idea, but I must say that I geuinely hate the execution. Horrible.

Just completed my one year subscription (purchased accidentally) but the bug in both the Android and iOS have never been fixed. When the song finished, the lyrics of the previous song remains on screen. So basically it does work with music on your device. Maybe it works if you are using it with Spotify or Apple music. I don't know

Was using this app for years, but lately this app started skipping song at random on shuffle play. It would start playing the song then it would cut off and play another song. This has never happened before. Then it would skip like 2 or 3 consecutive songs at random. This gets very annoying I'm hoping there is an update fix for this because I love this app.

I've been a big fan of this app for a long time, but some features because of updates over time they start to hide unless you have internet connection, features like access to equalizer and adding to that on the latest update i can't search for my local musics even if you had internet connection.(may be it's only for me i don't know). But out side all those little problems Musixmatch is the best music app that i have been using for the longest and shout out to the engineers and the team.👍

I have been using this apps for years. But lately my songs played about a few seconds when it suddenly skip to the next song. Sometimes it skip 3-4 songs. What happen musixmatch? This is my fav apps and I paid for it yearly. Please fix this soon or else I will have to terminate my subscription. It isn't worth it.

Positive: - Large database of lesser known non-English songs. - Nice lyrics translation option. Negative: - No integration in music apps but simply an ugly overlay. So, you can't use music apps while watching lyrics. - For paid version 60+ translations are promised. In reality few translations are available in the free and paid edition. There's no difference. - Animated background is promised in paid edition. In reality few songs have animated backgrounds but simply static pics.

This app is exceptional. I'm a person who likes knowing exactly what the song says so it can be stuck in my head more accurately and this app is great with that because right as you're thinking of searching the lyrics, they pop up on your screen whatever app your in. Amazing!

Good app, Until last year... when these bugs/errors appeared every time I tried to translate songs: # ⚠ "SOMETHING WENT WRONG, PLEASE RETRY" # ⚠ "INVALID ACCESS TOKEN" ⚠️ Please, SOLVE THE PROBLEM, (it has been lasting since last year). Please, resolve it, otherwise, I'll uninstall the app, because despite I've already reported the same bug/error several times, the problem has not resulted yet. Thank you

I have been using this music app for a while now, and I must say its amazing. I love the feature where the lyrics of the song display on the app while the music plays, you can sing along as you enjoy the music. It's usually stops sometimes and I don't know why, please fix that glitch.

I am really enjoying this app because I can actually read the words to the music from YouTube I don't know what happened but musicmatch but I was shocked to learn that I can enjoy some of my favourite lyrics on YouTube again horary we ( music match) is back couldn't be more happier

It's nearly impossible to use this app. The whole interface is terrible, but the translation page got a lot worse since the last time I used it. It takes forever to select a line and to show the keyboard, sometimes I'm finishing translating and the app takes me all the way up to the first line and doesn't let me scroll down. The constant lagging while syncing is another problem. Plus, I've seen a lot of mistranslated/incomplete verified (and locked) lyrics. What are the moderators doing?

An annoying problem of this app is that it plays a song for like 3 sec and all of a sudden changed to the next few song by itself. This has happened quite a lot of times and sometimes it straight up skipped 3 to 4 songs at once.Lately,it also have the problem of not being able to edit song info. Please fix this problem. Overall, a good lyrics app.

Left a negative review a year ago, redownloaded now to see if the app has been fixed yet...still broken. The ratings on this app being so high has to be because of bots, I don't think any real users are satisfied. The search feature doesn't work. Trying to sync lyrics doesn't work. Last year I only got one song successfully synced, despite doing the same thing each time. This year I can't even get that, it wants me to link Spotify despite already being connected. Can't proceed at all. Fix this

I've enjoyed it for the most part. It worked just fine until today. Now, if I were to select party mode or enlarge the lyrics, I would be stuck there. Even if the song ends, I'm stuck on the (end) on the enlarge screen of lyrics. Also, the only way for me to get out of it at the moment is to close the app every time. Edit: Now I can't view translations without premium? Really?
