I love that I can see my fico, auto score, credit card score & mortgage scores across all 3 bureaus. Plus, thr scores are always 100% on point when a lender checks. They're always surprised that I got my score right.
WAY TOO expensive!! My bank gives my scores every month, for FREE! I'll stick with my bank! This gets 5 stars because it's always as accurate as your actual scores; plus for people who can afford this service, why not!
In the process of rebuilding my credit and saw a rebate offer through capital one offers for a discount on a myfico subscription if purchased using a capital one card through their app. One of the best decisions I've made in the rebuilding process. The information available is everything I could want and more, especially as I'm working towards qualifying for a mortgage in the near future. Really loving the app and extensive features/ info. For me, it's well worth the money I highly recommend it.
Have used MyFico for years. I love that it's always up to date with my most recent score. Would recommend this site to everyone, especially those working on improving their credit, or in the market for a new purchase such as a home or car.
Best overall! I was told to switch to this app by our financial advisor because it shows more scores and which scores apply to what kind of credit your looking for like mortgage or auto. I feel a lot better about my credit with this app I feel more informed.
Very helpful breakdown of all the FICO scores used for everything from all three of the major credit bureaus and very good tools are included in this app
The platform is very intuitive and engaging. I really wish Experian credit scores updated more frequently. I wish creditors sent payments/payoff information quicker. The whole credit game is literally a game!
Very organized, sorted in a good way, easy to navigate but wish we get a free month instead of paying $40, I'm on low income disability and it makes it hard to make a living, I worry about my credit everyday. I might consider staying with Experian due to it being half the price a month.
This is a super app, if you pay for it, but it's really worth the money if you're trying to build your credit. It has the different scores for whatever your trying to do, buy a house, car, or whatever. It really helped me get where I needed to be and gives you complete monthly updates on you credit so you can see the progress. Highly recommended...
Worked fine until about two weeks ago. all three scores reset to 301 and hasn't moved. I get the numbers showing increase or decrease but score stays at 301. Program is updated to the latest version.
It's a necessity this day and age to mind your credit scores in order to be aware of how you look on paper not only to lenders but employment opportunities and even budding relationships. When 3 independent bureaus can seriously influence your life, it's necessary to get your information from the source. While Credit Karma and the other free services do serve a purpose in some regard, your FICO score is the real score anybody checking your credit report will see.
For the last month, when I open the app it shows all three scores at 301. If I open them individually it shows my actual score. This is annoying, please fix it.
Excellent. I am pleased with receiving regular notifications and score updates.
Love that they provide all scores depending on the type of credit you are interested in obtaining. This helped me have a better idea of what my refi rate would be. I give it 4 stars is because 1. It's expensive and we consumers have a right to access to our own info without being gouged and 2) when a score changes, it doesn't tell you the exact reason for the change like Credit Karma does, it just gives you a list of possible factors and leaves you figure it out.
Since these come straight from the credit bureaus themselves the weight isn't near as long for updates as it is with other sites and it is 10 times more accurate.
Generally pretty good app, but you can get faster updates from Experian directly--typically 1-2 days faster. Also, there's a bug that prevents credit alerts from showing up without first restarting the app. To be clear, it will show the alert, but when you click for more details, it shows an older alert instead. Finally, sometimes purchases do not go through right away, and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes to view your report(s).
Works as expected but there is definitely a delay with updates. For example, I paid about $4000 to a credit card in a lump sum. I received an alert 30+ days later that my account decreased by $2847. Conversely, when a made a $3000 purchase, the alert and corresponding score drop was almost immediate. I mostly blame the credit process for all of this. The app just exposes it very well.
Last month I got a notification saying that my info was found in some unsafe areas. Of course I immediately opened the app to see what the notification was, but was greeted by a blank error screen. I have been trying to login to this app for over a month and keep getting a blank error screen saying "Network error unable to connect to server. Please try again later." I am on the monthly plan. I don't think it's fair for me to be charged each month for an app that doesn't work over half the time.
Great because its the only place to view 3 FICO scores, with additional scores the mortgage lenders and bank card issuers use. It's actually spot on accurate, when i applied. Every other site gives you vantage or some other propietary calculation. FICO is the only model Ive seen used by creditors. Bad news is it cost a bit; $30 a month for a score every 3 months is expensive. i wish there was a cheaper option to view scores on a one time basis $15 would be about right.
It's just "okay." Like many of the reviews share, it frequently has glitches and won't update. I've had to uninstall and reinstall repeatedly just to have current data. I find the accuracy leaving something to be desired; very much behind current reporting. If you are looking for specific, accurate info, go to the full website to get it.
I wanted to give a update since I have used this app for several months now. It's still a very good app navigation is well laid out, my only issue is when I get the notification alerts it's hard to distinguish which ones are new because the colors are all the same I would suggest changing it so that we can tell the new alerts from old. I also want to mention that it does have biometric which is nice.
Not difficult to use. Details are clear. However, I always have to log in every time I minimize the app (not close). It doesn't stay logged in. It's annoying.
My experience so far is not great because each time I log in it's saying internet error try again but I'm connected so I'm forced to log in through the website instead when that is fixed then I will give 5 stars because I like how everything is broken down on the app
Overall, good app. No crashes. It is very easy to navigate and I can understand what is telling me. I just wish it had more info about the items that are on my credit report.
Love this app. Easy to use and like how it is more accurate than creditcarma or however you spell it lol.
Can't say anything about the free part of this app, but I bought the $30 membership since I'm buying a house an need to keep my score in my sights. This app has been great for that. I do also use the Myexperian and Myexperian boost with this app and it's been a great combo!! Credit Karma and Credit Sesame isn't ever accurate.. Thanks myFico!!!
