So many annoying issues that if they didn't pay the artists so well I would have stopped using this a long time ago... I bought a subscription, but now the app won't stop telling me my trial is over, even though I'm paying for the app. Even if I've downloaded an album or song, if I lose Internet for more than a few seconds, it will stop playing. If it stops playing, it will forget where in the song I was.

The best FREE option: YOUTUBE MUSIC - the only one with ON-DEMAND PLAYBACK of songs & complete albums! For a paid ad-free service, this is INCOMPARABLY INFERIOR to TIDAL & AMAZON MUSIC; unlike those, no lossless CD-quality here nor a free limited option - fundamental for an app to remain usable at all times; if needing to pause a paid subscription, it is unusable, with past time spent using it, including customizations & accumulated usage-based personalization data, feeling wasted in vain.

It would be nice if I could add song to playlists without a fight. Add to playlist. Oops, something went wrong. Refresh or cancel. Do this 2 or 3 times. Then my playlists finally load. Click the playlist I want. Nothing happens. I am connected to full strength WiFi.

The good: Ad free, much better audio quality than Youtube, good for discovering new music The bad: top songs often lists several versions of the same songs, some bands do not have all thier albums available The ugly: no way to delete songs erroniously added to library. It's clear that the ap only knows songs as numeric values, but songs get deleted from the catalog, a new song is assigned that value, and then the new song gets put in my library with no way to delete.

I love Napster so far! I recently switched from Spotify to Tidal and then to Napster because Tidal was lacking in features - namely no local file integration without a third-party service. Napster is slick, feature-rich, and they pay more per stream than both Spotify and Tidal respectively. Spotify is great but as musician, I want to support the artist as much as possible. Now I can do that without sacrificing functionality at all. 🤘

Just switched over from S**tify, overall very happy with my decision. There are things Napster doesn't do as well, but there are also things they do better. My biggest complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a sort button or search bar for playlists, which is a problem when you have very long playlists. If this issue is fixed I'll add a fifth star.

Hi! Overall Napster is a pretty sound music streaming service, it allows users to download their music for offline use (which is super handy for me at least) and there are no sound troubles that I've come across However! There are issues. Napster has removed songs and undownloaded content from my private playlist without any sort of notification or reasoning. It does not happen often, but when it does it is very frustrating.

I like Napster better than all the other music streaming apps. For one, I think it sounds better, at least on the devices and headphones that I use. It also offers better pre-chosen playlists than the other music services. And it's also easier to make playlists. And then there's a bunch of little things that I prefer about it also.

Love the service but the app is glitchy. Songs often cut off inexplicably as they're playing - they continue to play but there's no sound. And there's no way to hear the rest of that song unless you shut down and restart. I've contacted customer service and done all their suggestions but no improvement. Too bad as I love Napster and they pay artists higher percentages than other streaming services.

If you want to try it free for 30 days contact Costumer Service. I've been used ng the app for almost a month now, and I've had a great experience and transferring my songs from Spotify to Napster was easy. I just needed to use Soundiiz. The app is simple and you can find many songs on the platform. There are a few that are not on here, but that can be looked over because what I've seen was 2. If you want to try it free for 30 days contact Costumer Service.

I've used napster for a few years and just this year it's been a running issue with listening to songs and then one day they will just decide they will stop playing in the middle of the song. This is the second time I've had this happen. First time everything they told me to do I previously tried before calling them; spent hours on the phone with them still couldn't fix it. Randomly the next day it started working again. Here I am again with the same issue. It's annoying and I'm not gonna call.

The service is great for PC and all, but when it comes to the app, they need to put a little more work here. This has happened frequently, but God forbid you get a random playback error, it'll refuse to play the song(even if it's downloaded for offline play) until you reinstall the app, but even then, you'll get 1 or 2 plays on that lost song before it happens again. I've cleared cache, updated, and done everything to remedy this, but this problem continues to occur.

love the variety of music and ease of use. However, while streaming or listening to downloaded music, it will just stop playing all on its on and seems to be getting worse. ive had Napster for a long time back when it was Rhapsody, but if the issue doesn't get fixed im gonna cancel my subscription. $10 a month for an app that i have constantly hit the play button because it won't do right.

This is a great app. I've enjoyed using it for several years now. And I've never had too much to complain about. But recently an update to my phone, caused this app to stop working properly. Ever since that update, I am no longer able to restart my music from the Bluetooth play pause button. If I do not restart within a few seconds, I am unable to unpause my music unless I take my phone out and hit play on the screen. Being a mailman this is very difficult because my hands are always full.

I wish it worked with Alexa devices! I had to cancel for a while because it doesn't work on the Echo Dot. I had to get Apple Music for this purpose and I don't want to pay for both. Lately it has been skipping pass several songs in a playlist..pretty much until it hits a song that is downloaded. There are lots of songs that I could not copy to my playlist with Apple because they don't have them..so I will most likely be back!

It is really easy to use; my default music app. One major problem is that songs keep disappearing over time. They simply do not have the financial power of other music services to keep an extensive library stable. They also do not have some of the newest songs available, although they do have most. If you want an extensive and stable library, constantly updated with virtually every new song, then I recommend Spotify. If you can live with a few less songs, then the Napster app is excellent.

amazing selection... but still not being able to find all the songs I want to hear. my biggest issue is the change in volume levels when I'm running a playlist for everyone at work... I'm constantly stopping work and looking for my phone to raise or lower the volume and constantly getting into trouble with my supervisor... it's because of it that some of my coworkers avoided subscribing to the service
