I've had this app, on and off, for a few years. It was glitchy and didn't have the best features at first but the last year has shown a vast improvement. It's a much better app. I do look at it daily. It's safe. Nothing ever too extreme even if the news is horrible. Headlines are very clear so I know what stories I shouldn't open because they will cause undue stress.

The latest update makes it difficult to use the weather section. The radar details disappear when you zoom in. The "maps and radar" section have outdated information (I only see what appears to be 7-day forecasts from winter), and there is no longer an option to have an ongoing temperature displayed on the notification bar on my phone. Please fix! I have relied on your local forecasts for years but I can't do that with this app update. Thanks!

The update is awful. The weather is not easy to read. I want to know what the temp is going to be, not just what it is at 7am then have to scroll through tiny font timeline to see temp throughout day. I couldn't find anywhere to put the temp back up on my home screen. The coloring of the app is harsh. And inundated with adds Won't be my go to app for weather and news anymore.

This app is very helpful as to what is going on in the state for both news and weather. For a very big sports fan I wish add a little to what is going on in the sports world.

I agree with many of the other reviews. I do not enjoy the redo of the weather section. I am especially unhappy that the temp notification has disappeared. As others have mentioned, it is hard to maneuver the radar and the scroll of the daily temp graph is much smaller.

Old app was far better. Liked it opening up to the most useful feature... the doppler radar. As others have said, the radar now works poorly, doesn't refresh correctly when zooming using the Live Radar and regular Radar buttons does little or nothing. Fix the radar refresh and add an option like you had in the old app to open right to the radar!

Don't like new version. Harder to use. And while I have dark theme enabled on my phone, this app defaults to it because of that which makes it very hard to read. There is no setting in the app that I can find where I can turn dark theme off for just this app. I like NBC30 very much but I'm uninstalling this app for now

App freezes up - when watching weather map the time frame is overlapping and you don't get a clear number or time of day because the time overlaps the other time (can't see roughly when Storm will come in because the time stamp overlaps - using an Android phone have reinstalled it several times and it's still an issue) sadly the app as I said does freeze up when first had it years ago it was great no issues now the app just freezes up Have to reinstall it again and again

The radar map still not functioning no matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall. This is the time of year we really rely on it! Otherwise this is the only channel we watch the news on and think you are great!

I like the way the stories are presented especially when they get to the point and make the readers understand what the story is about, e x. beginning middle, and end. Great viewing!

Like this app. Gives me weather and news alerts. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is that the notifications don't always take me to the linked article. But it does connect much better than it did a few months back

BOGUS CHEAT APP! You have to log in to your local cable subscriber to watch and when I tried to do so with my xfinity account it said I needed to upgrade my monthly plan. This is NOT DISCLOSED when you download -- fraudulent!

Very hard to find the settings option in the latest version. Also, the option to open weather first seems to be gone. I'm not happy about that.

App is completely unreliable to watch local news. It sets every few minutes and needs to be reset.

Will you finally fixed the crashing but now I can't watch the news because there's too many funking commercials in the way literally in front of the screen every parking time I open it so at this point I am seriously considering shutting down your app and uninstalling it

Great updates during storms, tornado warnings , and any other bad weather. I work in an environment where we receive nothing from the outside world. It's great so that we can all keep our customers and employees safe

I really appreciate the CT NBC CT apt; it keeps me informed when I miss the morning news. I'm up to date with the weather, traffic and road closures.

I want to be able to watch the news live via the app. But you insist that I need a cable provider login. When in reality I dont need to pay for a cable provider when I can access the channel over the air. Hmm why is that?

Liked the old app much better. The radar doesnt appear right away like it used to. It's raining & the map shows nothing.

I really enjoy this app for the Connecticut news. although it bothers me some way that they're too left.. I wish all the news agencies reported unbiased news..

app. works great. had some really bad luck with other local channels and their apps. Thanks for being reliable

As a Logistical Mgr. I rely on the weather reports and Satellite Imagery a lot! Very dependable and easily accessible 👍

I love NBC 30 app. I get to watch my favorite news people in the morning and evening even when I am not in the state just to keep up local news and weather!!!

The NBC CT app is great! You get weather alerts, breaking news etc so you can stay informed at all times.

I love this app. I know if we have storms coming, I can refer to this app for the latest information. I love going to the beach when I am free and I look here to see what the UV index is going to be. I also use it in the summer for the level of humidity that is expected.

Sooooo much better than WFSB competitier app! Easier to navigate, and less ads....thank you NBC CT!

This is the only news station that gets the weather right 98% of the time. This is the only news station l watch..
