Most of the stories don't open anymore. 7/10 times, it shows an error saying "Oops! There seems to be an error. It's probably us, don't worry, please try again". This error is very annoying and its appearing lot more frequently these days. Clearing cache doesn't help. Also, the content quality has deteriorated over past few years. Real news is missing. You mostly see paid propaganda news and ads. I don't care your celebrity news.

Full of bugs. I have never seen a stable version of TOI App so far. I have been using it for 7+ years. Notification links don't open always. They don't load either. Articles don't show properly...Heading of the article overlaps (appear on the very text) the text in articles. Pics in the articles overlaps it's text. Bug in TOI Points. Doesn't add up even after reading several articles. Tutorial of TOI UI appear randomly.

Why epaper & landscape mode removed? I like to read news paper the old school way, but again moving progressively I read e-paper in PDF format on my iPad. It was easier to download & read in my leisure time. Also the earlier app could be used in landscape mode, so reading was very easy. But now it isnt easy as it’s specifically made to read on mobile. I subscribed TOI for the e-paper but now it's unavailable. I won’t be subscribing again to TOI unless ePaper and Landscape modes are back.

It's superbly user friendly. Keeps informed and updating. It's over two months that I am using this app and found it extremely good. News and Views excite me more than anything else but it would be injustice if I don't mention the picture quality. It's worth recommending.

It's complicated and difficult to stay on the app and read news , every few seconds an add or pop-up comes in the way, put effort to cancel to resume on the news ...even if we cancel it comes again,if you want to make it chargeable, then don't let anyone come in...better users to goto some other news portals or apps rather than struggle with ads and popups here....I hardly spent few minutes in a week against few hrs everyday compared to past versions of toi...plz fix it or users will drift away

The app is good but the enewspaper (paid for) is a disaster. unreadable with all those flashing ads on top of the screen and the page keeps sticking, zooming out, resetting... so I have to read the news on this app.

I had opted for the TOI + annual subscription and also paid for the same but after two weeks it shows that I need to opt for a subscription to continue reading. I wrote a mail asking them to resolve this but got no response. I feel looted & regret downloading this app.

Go to app for news and bugs! Tapping on a news usually shows a 'could not load' kind of an error. I could go on hammering the 'try again' button but the news article just doesn$t load!

I have a paid subscription to the app. The app lacks many features such as the ability to provide news only wrt to my areas of interest. The home tabs and home section do no not work optimally and fail to give the desired result.

There is always oops error in comments. Cannot add or view comments. My comment about is very simple to understand.Not sure what additional details you need. Let me rephrase again. When I open an article and click on comments it gives me error. I cannot view and add new comment. 20May: I have sent email few days back, not received any response yet

Used to be a good news app. But now advertisements just force their way in. It's so sad to see TOINS trying to increase revenue this way. Mar 2022 - The app developers promised a better experience, but this app isn't worth the news on it. I used to be an avid TOINS reader, but I think it's time to call it quits. ANI is a much better app where the are no ads and free news content as well. Not a recommended app!

Reading feature is not good at all. It also reads full stop as dot, and does not pause. Rest is 👍 good. When I mentioned issue here, why you need email?

The app was very good earlier. Now I'm seeing more adds everywhere and less news. It is becoming difficult to easily identify news articles among those adds.

Lately the app is become a nuisance.. When clicked on the main headline or for the part any links, for a further read on the article.. The oops sign comes up first.. Disgusting UI.. If such instances keep continuing I will rather uninstall the app..

This app cheats in the name of rewards. Whenever u try to redeem points, it always gets cancelled and points are again credited to my account. When u do not want to give rewards at all, then y just cheat customers in the name of points n all.. Redeemed thrice but everytime it got cancelled. TOI n timespoints both are cheaters and deserve 0 Stars. Even raised issue on instagram but they take everything lightly and do not take feedback seriously. Shame on such an esteemed APP..

Update: Jan 14 2022 : After the recent update, there are full page Ads and have to close the application. The ads don't disappear even after more than 5 minutes. Also, the Preferences have been reset and can't save the new preferences. Old Issue from Jul 2021 : There are lots of Ads and fewer news. When a news item is clicked, takes for ever to load the news item and it is not internet issue. Very very slow to lead the news articles.

News qualities as well as covering areas are good and almost balanced. We get notifications from which we can easily find out the news that we want to read immediately..

Starting today afternoon ToI notifications remain permanently in the notifications area on the phone even after clearing the phone notification area!!!??? It is irritating!!!??? Rectify it!!!??? DISGUSTING!!!???

Nice News app providing in depth Articles. All news is divided into various meaningful sections which helps in personalization.

One of the worst app I used. The points are not adding into the total timespoints. I will be uninstalling it. Also there are many glitches in the app. Not optimised for all the mobiles.

TOI is a timeless app that offers a variety of news. The stories are quite short and precise to read wide and deep. The breaking news emerges brilliant timely.

Too many Ads, useless news content, typo and grammatical mistakes. Once a quality newspaper has become worst today. Worst customer care service for subscribed members! For app, I think you have too many reviews from many subscribers to work on.

The app keeps stating that there are new stories on the top but none have come. It seems more like new advs on the top to see now.

My issue in the app I am facing problem of not able to post my comment in your app for the news I find in your daily incoming post of news. What is the issue and even my post is not getting posted by your app.

TOI app has drastically worsened. Nowadays, you only see annoying ads pop up all the time. Presentation of quality news has been compromised for commercial selling. Very sad that a brand of such a solid reputation has gone the wrong way. Hope they correct the situation to regain readers' confidence in TOI as a quality news and information provider.

Very slow and buggy after recent design changes. It just keeps circling and loading articles. I am paid member and wasted money on yearly subscription. It was fixed but again problem started a week ago.

The app has been reinstalled many times but it's not working. Rest all app work well which shows there is nothing wrong with data connection

Daily Hunt, Local newspaper app very easy to browse and it's updated regularly. But this app is not. What one can expect from TOI ? The standard we expect from a renowned and oldest newspaper not upto the mark
