Ok. I'm seeing a lot of Topps bashing in these reviews. While yes, there are many things I would like to see change with digital collections, the panini app is horrible in comparison. Even comparing it to the out dated Huddle app that crashes and barely works. Topps lost their NFL deal, so energies are focused elsewhere, I get it. But for us that have collections, this is why digital collections are scary. I was proud of my small collection on Huddle. Now I can't even enjoy it.
Reinstalled the app and tried to log in but it automatically took me to, and I can't get past the New Features intro screen. No matter what I tap on either on my phone or that screen it doesn't go anywhere, it just gets stuck there. That must be why when I was on it the previous months no new users were around. They can't get past that screen to do anything with the app.
The cards look good. Love doing the contest but it lags and glitches really bad. When searching teams it takes 2 minutes to load. When playing contest, 1 mistake and it wont reload and i have to restart the app. Buying packs is a hastle. Im on an andriod. Please topps fix this issue. I reinstalled, cleared data, everything you guys always tell me to do. Going to delete this if its not fixed soon. Will rerate this if it does get fixed Thanks Daily user soon to be non user Update: deleted app
App was great from the start for a few years. Then they got greedy with limited card pulls for asinine prices & near impossible collections. And now I can't log into my old account on Facebook. On top of that, everything you try and do gets a "Unexpected Error, Please Try Again" message. If they fix the error message & Facebook log in, I'll consider updating my review
As a kid starting in 1973 I started collecting football cards Topps specifically for the next 14 years and when I saw this app I was except it felt like a connection to my youth. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times because of bugs in the system for instance when I try to collect my daily draw nothing shows up and it's been very disappointing unfortunately I guess my trading card days are over
Now it won't let me access my account thru Facebook. It says it's still under development. This needs to be fixed. Not sure why but the app is locked up and after uninstalling\reinstalling it has locked up completely. And 5 months later and there is no fix. Guess I'm deleting the app and I'm done with you. Wish I could rate ZERO stars. Oh well. Panini is a better app card digital cards anyway. Just wish they did Baseball cards as well
Needs a lot of work. Slow switching between areas of the app. Hit areas and interactions for buttons and links are nearly impossible making trades extremely difficult. Sometimes cards render larger than packs when opening. Small text difficult to read on phone. Just too many issues to spend any real money in this app...
My old phone stopped working, got a new one, downloaded Huddle and now when trying to log in with Facebook I get an "App not found" page and can't log in. Tried uninstalling the app multiple times, tried old Facebook accounts (thanks for back in the day making us log into all 8 or so Topps apps with DIFFERENT log ins for each one by the way - I have lost multiple accounts I have SPENT MONEY ON)
Spin cost increases with each spin, persistent "error" on the home screen, if you want more than one pack per day you have to buy coins. Very disappointed with the quality of the app and the experience.
When I started this app back like 2017 or 2015 something like that I love the app so much i had really good packers cards 2 limiteds and other cool things. That trades got worst instead of inserts for my inserts it was base cards for my inserts or base for base. Then it got so boring I deleted the app got it back some how in 2019 or 2018 and played it again got good cards than I deleted again I tried to get it this year and I tried using Facebook, Google, and doesn't work. Fix this topps.
It keeps saying oops something went wrong, it keeps freezing and I constantly have to come out of the game and go back in again only for it to work for about 10 seconds. It was a great game on my old Samsung but on my Huawei it's a nightmare so deleting it
Amazing Product. The problem with this App is people joined thinking it was a game when it's more a platform for digital card collecting. Topps had fun contests and gave out free product which confused parts of the audience into thinking it's a ftp game and they shouldnt have to pay to get nice cards. These people became disgruntled and ultimately ran the app in to the ground, causing Topps to hesitate & ultimately not renew their digital license with the NFL. Too bad, much better then panini!
Used to have a great collection on here but lost app due to a phone issue. Recently re-installed app but cannot even sign in now as every time I open it there is an error. Asks for sign in details then goes straight to an error screen. If the app does not work then why is it available for download? Such a shame
Basically it wants you to spend money on worth less digital cards. The special cards well good luck trying to get those, your more likely to be struck by lightning. Collect real cards, don't waste your time with this.
WAS a great app but the name is no longer accurate as you can NO LONGER TRADE on the app. We were given no notice of the change in trading status. Functionality is now restricted to viewing only. DO NOT bother with this app as Topps as screwed over every user on it by abandoning it's NFL license.
Very into it a few years back. Logged in recently and there's no content, no activity and with every click a notification pops up saying there was an error. Just awful
Huge football fan and collector. Decided to give this app a try and I'm not disappointed. Between the tasks for free coins, the free daily packs, the prize wheel, plus the new cards constantly being added..? It keeps drawing you back in. Love it!
My rating was rounded up. This game used to be very enjoyable until the producers developed their diamond method. This required fans to pay real money for quality items. Furthermore the player selection is now limited and more items require diamonds. Topps has nearly destroyed their existence in the digital market by abandoning fundamentals and trying to get cute.
Not a good app at all. Whenever you go to the home page and error pops up. Game freezes. So much potential so little effort. I have tried this app multiple times and it still the same.
Lazy. Topps uses the same base sets for every subset and insert set. Panini apps are way better. They give you more to do, more to collect, and their insert/subset cards aren't sandwiched between the same old base cards. Hope more sports switch their licenses to Panini.
What a RAM eater. There's absolutely no reason something this simple should take 900mb of RAM, and still be as slow and laggy as it is. For reference, World of Tanks Blitz takes the same amount of RAM, and it runs at 60 fps flawlessly.
I've used other Topps apps and they have been mostly good. I can't even get passed the login page, and it constantly shows errors prior to that. It says the last time this app was updated was 9/2019, at this time that is over a year ago. Do not bother with this app, Topps gave up on it and I am too.
Fun When I started a few years ago. But lately, The only way you can keep up is if you have lots of money. They charge for everything. And saving coins is pointless, as they don't put anything good in those packs
App is slow and harder to navigate than it should be.. cards look cool, but takes 10-20 seconds of load time just to open a pack or move from one page to another.. Make the system more like Topps Bunt!!
Absolutely love this game but the hassle signing bk in is unreal, surely Topps are big enough to sign in thru Facebook or Google. Plus every time I click anything I get a pop up saying "Oops something went wrong" very annoying when it comes up every click so lowering rating
The game constantly crashes every time i change to a new menu. "Oops something went wrong" gets really annoying. I also lost everything I had accumulated when I signed into my Google account in the game. Kinda makes you not want to start all over. Never had these issues with the NHL version. Also, where are all the inserts and special packs? Its the same old plain cards every time I open a pack.
